okay i'm back
here's the basic story
miaka is an ordinary school girl. one day she and her best friend, yui, go to the library. while there they find an old book(i think it was call Universe of the Four Gods) suddenly they are sucked into the world of the book. as soon as they get there they are attacked by slave traders but a luckily rescued by a handsome young man (later revealed to be tamahome) then yui dissapears (the book sent her back to the real world) miaka wanders around until she gets to a city where she mets tamahome again and convinces him to help her. then they are captured by the emperor's guard. the emperor, hotohori, believes that miaka is the priestess of suzaku, and he's right!!!
so the rest of the story follows her as she becomes the preistess and tries to get back home.
it is an excellent story and i highly recommend it
(rent it if you can cause it was expensive to buy)

I wish I could have seen this series. crying All I've ever seen of it was this one sex scene and that was it (seriously. Just turned on the TV to see what animes were on and bam. Moaning noises. Lotsa explaining after that sweatdrop ). I heard it was really good. All my friends have seen it but I'm sortah left out and feeling anime illiterate.
