I am Narniakat and I love Anita Blake. The series is an obsession for me. I am 34, soon to be 35. I have been reading the series since around 1999. I started at the beginning with Guilty Pleasures, and have never been the same since. I am currently working on an encyclopedia of the series.
Please introduce yourself and tell what you love about the series, and anything else you want to tell about yourself. I hope everyone here has a great time.

Ummm... let's see. My name is yblonski and I am an Anitaholic. I have been reading for several years now. My first knowledge of the Anita Blake books came when I was working at a local university. There was a girl who was obsessed with them that was trying to get me to read them. I basically payed no attention to her. A bit later my friend Narniakat started reading them and remembered that they were the same books that this girl had recommended to me. Damned if she wasn't right... they were good books!

biggrin My name is Rachel, a junior at PHHS, turning 16 in November. I'm fairly new to Anita Blake, starting the series in April/March and finishing them and the Merry series in July sweatdrop Though I've become totally obsessed (Laurell's got about all of my money..). I've gotten everybody I talk to into them, but all the credit goes to my Lishi here on Gaia, who was the one who got me started!
I'm so very excited about the guild, like bouncing excited XD I hope to have a wicked time here and meet other Anita fans!

I'm Fenris, 21 years old and 22 in Oct. A fan of the Anita Blake series first and foremost, although I have read the Merry Gentry series and am just starting to read Nightseer. I am a major fan of most of the Fantasy books I read and the Anita Blake series just grabbed my attention. I actually started reading Guilty Pleasures at my then gf's recommendation and just kept on going through the series despite the cost and now I'm awaiting Incubus Dreams, and so is my now gf who is into the series because of me. It's good to pass along the books, especially to people who actually take care of other peoples belongings.. smile

I'm Livythia (feel free to call me whatever you want ;p) and I'm 21, 22 in November. I've been an Anita Blake fan for several years now. My first book was Guilty Pleasures and I've been hooked since. There are still a few earlier titles I've yet to get my hands on but I've read most of the series thus far.
I also cannot wait for Incubus Dreams. I read the first chapter online and it was good to hear from Anita again. I think what I like most about the series is the fairly down to earth and realistic characters. Not to mention it has a very modern feel to it so it's easier for most to get into than some other supernatural series.

Howdy all I'm Sarah. I'm 15 from England have been reading the Anita Blake series for about... a year (Or less) I've read all of the current books twice over (And am currently re-reading them) and they are the fodder for my day-dreaming whee
I'm hooked on the Anita series, they are the best novels I've had the chance to read. Laurell is an amazing author and seems like the coolest person ever! I've actually e-mailed her (although I have no reply) but atleast I tried meh?
If you asked me which of my books are my favourite, I'd have to rip your arm off and beat you with the bloody end because they are all so individual and creative. ALTHOUGH, Cerulean Sins was too sexually oriented for my tastes sweatdrop
I'd also love to know when Incubus Dreams is coming out in England - the suspense is killing me! crying

Hullo, I've just turned 21, and I've been reading the Anita Blake books for several years. Just this past month I did a re-read of them to get me all up to date for Incubus Dreams. I also enjoy epic poetry, mythology, romantic period litrature, anime, and lots of other stuff.

I'm currently almost halfway through Bloody Bones and I'm bloody /anxious/ to join in the RP below! Just.. want to get through the rest of the books. stressed
Er.. anyways. I study and breed reptiles (lizards currently. I live with three snake-nazis at the moment. sweatdrop ) and I read a lot. Mostly, well, /any/ genre. Horror, smut, comedy, teen, classics. I also draw a lot. Anita fanart has become my new passion. I'll probably post some for the community later on. ^^;
Edward rocks my socks. whee

I'm Neko. I'm 16 in just over three months.
My friend got me addicted to the Anita books, mostly by having me at her house, shoving Guilty Pleasures towards me, and telling me "READ!"
Ever since then, I've been devoted man. JC's my favorite character, I have to say, except for Anita of course. xd When Incubus Dreams comes out September 28th, I will be buying myself a copy, along with a ticket to the book signing session in October. whee
I've read everything except Cravings(its in the mail crying ), including the Merry books, which also rock! heart
I'm part of an Anitaverse lycanthrope roleplay: www.avidgamers.com/lukoi though the admin has sadly gone a bit inactive. sweatdrop I started a new version that should be much more active: lukoi-elite.avidgamers.com
Feel free to apply if you're interested, not trying to advertise or anything.
Other than that, I'm fairly average... I own one killer rabbit (I am SO not kidding), and two other rabbits hang out around my house. I also have a paranoid goldfish and a buzzing African Dwarf frog. stare

(all these animals belong to yblonski too, since we are roommates)

Quote: My friend got me addicted to the Anita books, mostly by having me at her house, shoving Guilty Pleasures towards me, and telling me "READ!" LOL. That's exactly what my friend did to me! Except she snuck the book up to my room and lodged it in the middle of my book shelf. "You have to read this. No questions. The sex scenes are.... YOU HAVE TO READ THIS." I dare not question. sweatdrop Oh! Pets! I have two bearded dragons (Xander and Anya), one mali uromastyx (We call him 'Uro' and 'Urie' which sounds more like Yuri, so.. sweatdrop ), two dogs (One male Pitbull/Lab/Newfie "Wiley", one female Siberian husky "Nuff"), and two cats. (Snickers and Colby) We recently lost Colby's brother, Onyx. We have a feeling that there is someone stealing cats in the neighborhood. (There have been, like, five missing cats this summer.) I miss my Oonie. crying

My name is Chelsea (you can call me Eva), I'm 19 and I love! Anita Blake. My fiance convinced me to read the books ( I wasn't really into vampires and werewolves and the like......) and I've been hooked since the very first chapter. Now I wait impatiently for each book to be released. Any how, I just wanted to say Hi, and to introduce myself!

Heya everyone, my name is Amber. I found the Anita Blake series at my school library. I love it even though i haven't read all the series yet because the library doesnt have them all. Im trying desperately to get my friends to read the books but they are very stubborn. I have two maltese terriers, Buffy and Prince. I've been home sick all this year and the Anita Blake series has been my saving grace from boredom. Some people say that I'm too obsessed. IS that possible? eek Well thats basically everything about me. I must get back to reading Cerulean Sins. OOOOOOOOO Asher, Jean-Claude and Nathaniel are my fave guys. I love it how Nathaniel is really soft compared to the rest of the guys. xd *drools over Nathaniel*

Hi, I'm Ryanna, 19 years old. My last boyfriend introduced me to Anita. xd that was about 2 years ago, been hooked since. I also love the Merry series, and Nightseer (Her first book, as any die hard fan would know. wink Just kidding. whee ). I've read all her books so far. I for one would like to find out how she met Edward and Jean-Claude in the first place. Anyone else? I'm in two RPs: Twilight and LeatherDream Gate - This one is kinda dead now, but we are hoping to revive it very soon. I have a Golden Retriever named Shadow. And two cats, Minnie and Sandy. Um..... That's about it. 3nodding
