It was the smell that woke Lex up. It wasn't his. It was flowery, feminine, soft, and laced with chlorine. Taking a deep breath he breathed it in and slolwy cracked one green eye. Cuddled up in his arms was a sleeping Saki. Grinning, he wrapped his arms tighter around her and kissed the top of her head. The previous night ran through his head, but instead of being upset he was surprisingly very happy. She hadn't given up on him. She had even compromised to stay close to him. That was saying a lot compared to most people who had come and gone from his life.

As Saki started to come too she felt enveloped in warmth, not just the warmth of being cuddled up under the duvet, but the warmth of being cuddled up to comeone she cared about. It was a satisfying feeling, one that she had never had. tightening her fist on the yukata he was wearing she nuzzled closer to him. She refused to open her eyes because if she woke up, time would start moving again, he might want to leave.

Lex smiled as he felt Saki stir against him. He felt her fist tighten around the yukata she was already holding.
"Buenos dias mi amor," he said softly, nuzzling her hair and placing another kiss, this time at her temple. He reached up and slipped a finger under her chin to tilt her head up away from his chest and smiled at her sleeping face. He slowly worked his way down with his lips, kissing her forehead, then her nose, and then kissing her lips softly.

Saki's eyes blinked open at the sound of the strange language. It took a moment for her mind to adjust as she stared at Lex's chest and then up at him as he worked his kisses down to her lips.
"Ohayo." She murmured, her voice hoarse with sleep. Yawning a little she wrapped her arms around him, smiled and kissed him back, equally as soft.

Lex smiled again. She was really cute in the morning, though he had a feeling she would never believe him if he told her so. He shifted to gently push her back as he slowly deepened the kiss a little. It felt so nice to wake up in the morning with a girl he knew and could remember everything about.

Saki closed her eyes and relaxed into the kiss. She could get very used to this she thought as she tightened her arms around him. When the kiss finally broke she looked into his eyes and smiled.
"That was the best wake up call I've ever had." She said quietly, pushing the yukata open a bit so that she could place a couple of soft kisses on his collarbone.
Sighing she nuzzled his neck again, closing her eyes and enjoying his warmth.

Lex smiled and brushed the tip of her nose with his as she spoke again. He tilted his head up at the feel of her warm lips against the skin of his chest and then as she nuzzled his neck.
"Ai... mi amor," he whispered softly, nibbling lightly on her ear. "I must agree with you," he replied, sitting up a little to look down into her eyes. "I could definitely get used to this," he smiled, reaching up to brush some hair out of her face. He wanted her just as much as he had the night before. But those were feelings that would have to be shelved for now.
"Would you like some breakfast? Believe it or not, I can cook," he smiled down at her.

Saki smiled as he voiced exactly what she had been thinking. Wriggling out of his arms a little she stretched, cat like her arms above her head and yawned.
"Mmm. Breakfast sounds good." She said her voice still tinged with sleep. It was probably a very good idea. The longer they stayed so close, the greater the temptation to push things. Sniffing she sat up, her hair all stuck up to one side. "Would you like some help?"

Lex let her pull away and watched her stretch out her back. When she sat up he tried his best not to laugh at her hair.
"No amor. I want to do it for you," he smiled and sat up. He leaned over and kissed her cheek then slid out of bed to go to her bathroom. He slipped on his swimtrunks under the yukata and walked back out to go out to the kitchen. He threw a glance over at Saki's roomie's door and wondered if he should make enough for three. Smiling, he looked in the fridge and pulled out some eggs and bacon. He found the pans and set them on the stove. With a bit of flair he tossed the bacon on and cracked some eggs to start cooking.

Saki stretched back out on the bed, smiling. Hot, sweet aaand he could cook. She could definitley overlook the little personality problem for that. As the smell of bacon wafted into the room she sat up and ran her fingers through her hair. She climbed off the bed and went to watch him cook, it smelled delicious.
"That smells amazing." She said leaning up against the kitchen counter. "Do you want tea to go with it?"

Lex looked over his shoulder as Saki walked in the common room from her bedroom. He gave her a warm smile and flipped the eggs and bacon in the pan.
"Si senorita. Tea would be good I think. And if you think this is amazing, I am definitely going to have to cook dinner for you some time," he grinned.

"You cook dinner?" She asked throwing her head back in mock ecstacy. "That's it. I'm keeping you here."
She smirked and set about making tea for them.
"You can be my kitchen b***h." She laughed as she half climbed onto the counter to get a couple of mugs. "And in return I'll be your love slave." She paused as if pondering the idea. "Hmm, I might have to let you out to go to class."

Lex smirked at her offer. Hmm... kitchen b***h versus love slave. He definitely would have the better end of the deal, he thought as he reached for a plate and flipped the eggs and bacon on to it.
"Si... I don't think my parents would like it if I dropped out of school to become a kitchen b***h," he grinned, grabbing some bread and spreading butter on it. He put the slices on a baking sheet and slipped it into the oven. "Though I would not mind it in the least," he smirked. "Especially with the bargain I would be getting."

Saki laughed as the kettle came to the boil and poured the water into the pot.
"I don't think my brother would be too happy if I told him I was becoming a love slave either." She smirked picking up the tea and mugs. "Me niether, I have someone to cook for me in return for something I want to give them." She said with a wink. "Do you want to eat out here or back in bed?"

Lex raised an eyebrow at her words. Sure last night they had been head straight down that path, but to hear her say that she still wanted to share that with him made him smile. Not only did she just want to do it, it was something she wanted to give.
"Uh... it does not matter. I made enough for your roommate too if she would like. But I can just leave her a plate in the microwave if you would like to go back to bed," he smiled and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek.
