Have any of your parents or friends ask what Immortal Rain is. Or ask one of those annoying questions like why are you reading it backwards? Trust me I have been asked a lot. This is basically a place where you can share them.

My mom does not get what anime is no matter how many times I tell her. I swear if she asks what manga is again I will shoot myself. Alright on with the story. So one day my mom asks what Immortal Rain is about so I told her its basically about a dude named Rain who is Immortal and basically meets this girl Machika. Then I added how they were such a cute couple and my mom asks such a weired question. If the dude is immortal doesn't that make him a vampire? I replied no mom he is not a vampire. My mom goes, but he is immortal. I said he doesn't suck blood and afraid of sunlight, so he is no vampire. Then my mom goes then how can he be immortal. I was like, mom hes immortal because he was given the blood of someone (yuca) that kept reliving life no matter how many times he died. Mom goes so he is a vampire. I was like no mom he is not! By this time I was really annoyed but stilled tried to explain it to my mom. Sadly nothing worked and I was left frustrated and my mom confused. Trust me this conversation lasted a loooong time.

My family have got used to me reading books 'backwards' now, but I still get it a lot from other people, which really pisses me off. And they don't usually specifically ask about Immortal Rain, but my brother and stepmother have read it. Plus I made all my friends read it.

My mom really doesn't care xd I mean, I acutally tried to get her to read IR once and she just look at the book. Then handed it back to me... Yeah, that's the last time I tried to get my mom into manga. xd
As for my friends, I must say I was able to make some of my friends obsesse over it... Yep, it's so nice to see them beg me for IR manga cause their too cheap to buy it...wait.
Anyway, I must admit no one really asked me why I read the books backwards... People just must think I'm loony or something xd

Nobody ever asked me the standard noobish questions like why are you reading backwards or eew why are you reading porn?? But I managed to get most of my friends at summer camp and some of my friends back home into it. I think they like it because it's different from everything else we read. (shonen fanatics)

My mom is always like read a real book, don't waste money on those things. I've recently managed to 3 schoolagers at my daycare into manga. Their parents are just happy they're reading.....they want them to read MORE manga.....why wasn't my mom ever like that?....oh, yeah, she said I read too much. she actually grounded me from books and tried to make me go outside once!....Who does that? Whatever, that was years past... the point is now the schoolagers have been exposed to manga, and it's only a matter of time (and in some cases a matter of learning to read) before I get the rest of them into it.

I have a younger brother who my parents want to read manga so that he reads more. The same goes for my younger sister I think. The'd probably prefer that I read other things because manga is expensive but if it helps my drawing, they don't mind.

When I first started? Farrrrrr too many times. And even now I still get asked... but I suppose the amount of times it's been asked has lowered recently.

.so you know how much I need you.
I've been asked about the "backwards" thing a lot. I'm used to it by now, lol. What I don't like is people looking over my shoulder at the wrong time in the book, whether there be an unusual amount of swearing or nudity. They'll freak out and be all "Like OMG how can you read that?!?!?!? *Gaaaaaaasp*" -_- Get over it!
But my parents don't really care. I think they'd prefer I read "normal" books, but it's my money I'm spending, so... they can't do anything about my growing collection. ^w^
.and is this my final chance of getting you?.
