For our last concert, we were going to sing a song called Follow The Drinking Gourd.

But, the guys in our chorus decided that they would make us(Sopranos and altos) work hard and then have them not sing so we couldn't perform it at the concert.
Then another song, Like A Mighty Steam, the sopranos and the altos had to sing the guys part as well because they refused to sing.

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

The guys in my chior do that too.
But it's less that they don't want to sing
and more that they don't know how.
And when they say so Mrs Paige just yells at them.

I've never seen something like that happen. The girls normally sing the guys part only in rehearsal because it's fun. But the guys never refused to sing ever.

We just have semi-random people who refuse to sing. Not the entire section of guys.

I get intimitated by our Concert Choir because they're so good.

That's never happened to us. I respect the tenors/basses so much in the choir because they work so hard.

When we were working on this one song, me and my friend Jessi always turned to eachother when the soppranos handed it over to the altos for a bit, and sang the guys parts to eachother. ^_^ just a bit of random fun.

The guys in the 8th grade concert choir were morons. They refused to sing a lot of songs. Thank God I made it into the Women`s Choir for next year...

Also, my friend Laquan was going to sing Follow the Drinking Gourd for Solo-Ensemble. I heard him practice, and he was really good. If he actually showed up to the festival, he would`ve gotten a 1 rating.
