"Go pway with Jani?"
"Not quite, sweetie." Rune Traverse smiled wryly, long blue curls falling in her face as she pushed a large stroller toward the mansion's front door. Dressed in her usual attire of jeans, T-shirt and hiking boots, she seemed to be in quite a good mood. One hand lifted to nudge her glasses slightly higher on her small nose, green eyes twinkling. "I don't know if Jani will be there or not."
"Flitch, then?" For an infant, Yvette had mastered quite a bit of the spoken word, both in English and the other languages she often heard around the house. Seated in the center of the multi-child stroller, she looked around avidly, her own eyes sparkling. She liked Flitch, a lot. He and his brothers were just as cool as Jani! "Flitch an' Mengde?"
"I'm not sure." In fact, Rune wasn't sure who would be at the mansion at all, but with all the havoc at home and at the Center lately, she thought it would be a good idea to bring Yvette and some of her siblings to hang out someplace else. Currently, Horo Horo, Angel, Daimon and little Ceres were sleeping in the stroller.

Chaco was tending to the garden, seeing as though no one else around the estate did anything. He'd have to see if his mother would be willing to go through the dimensional vortex to grab something for automatic gardening. A robot maybe.
Because really, with a garden this large, the task was too hard for just Chaco. He hadn't even trimmed the maze down in months. And he didn't really enjoy it, either. He liked flowers and all, but having to tend to them EVERY DAY to even make a small bit of headway was more annoying than it was anything else.
His attention was distraced from the flowers when he heard voices coming up the walkway. A woman he couldn't remember meeting, and a Sin'aeis child he'd only seen for a short time, and then not once after. Of course, there were other children in the stoller, but he was pretty sure they were not Sin'aeis.
Probably.
Well, at least he knew one of them was a Sin'aeis child...
Smiling, he put his tools down, wiped his hands on the dark green shirt he was wearing and stood up. "Can I help you?"

Surprised, Rune looked up at the voice. She thought she recognized the boy standing there near the garden, although it took a few seconds for her to place him. Chao - no, Chaco, that was it. They'd met for no more than a few minutes the day she recieved Yvette. And for that matter, though she'd hung out with Akilah, Flitch, Cameo, Jack, Ani and especially Jan, the Water Slider didn't think Evie had seen the chocolate boy again since. She herself certainly hadn't. That couldn't be a good thing.
"Hello - I'm Rune. Yvette's guardian?" She motioned toward the little blonde in the stroller. "We came to see if anyone else was around."
For her part, Yvette was quite interested. This was someone that seemed familiar, but he was still new enough to be interesting. And with her brothers and sisters and cousin still asleep, she was bored. Head tilted curiously to one side, she waved a vine-tattooed hand at Chaco. "Hullo. Pwaying in garden?"

He was a small kid, with silver hair and red eyes. His usual bright red shirt, had been replaced by a muted, darker green tank top. He was covered in mud and dirt, all along his arms, face, and even in his hair. And now, he was crawling belly against the ground, stalking after Rune, and her Baby Patrol.
Ninja Steve smiled to himself, watching through blades of grass his 'target', apparently meeting some friend out here in this very strange place. His eyes darted back, to a tall, dark skinned man quite a way behind him. A nod passed between the two, and Ninja Steve started to crawl forward. Belly tight against the ground, moving slowly towards his friends.
