Abilities:
Can pull out the gems from his skin and regrow them, but it takes a while for the gems to regrow into his skin.
Can collect light into the gems and release the light into rays of color
Affinity for gems and an uncanny ability to tell you there value with in seconds or minutes.

Their Mistake:
Amethyst wasn't as rude, crude, and vicious as he has been of late. Once being a gentle and kind angel, Amethyst loved to give out his treasures to everyone, which was much required of him, but something seemed to change all that. It began the day he met up with a woman, who soon tainted his own mind and clouded his own vision and in turn made a mistake!
Amethyst fell in love with his mines of gems and minerals! Greed overcame him and overwhelmed his feelings and clouded his vision. All that he noticed now was his gems and nothing more than his horde, not even his own love of his life, that was lost long forgotten in time as most antiques do.
Jealousy and greed filled his heart, clouding everything that he once known from himself. Amethyst was so worried over his gem mines he didn?t notice what was going on!
Humans filled the earth and consumed the land, Amethyst watched over his mines in fear the inferior beings would creep up behind him and snatch his precious items. One human got curious and caused Amethyst to make a dreadful decision.
"So you think you can sneak up on me and take my gems!" Amethyst released an evil laughter to which filled the air, yanking on a gem from his arm. With a sound of gushing and squishing, this would send shivers up any mortal's skin. Amethyst glared at the gem, gleaming in the sun's rays of infinite light.
"I send to you a curse of death!" Amethyst screamed, waving his hands through the clouds. Crystals, gems, and minerals began to rearrange themselves in the mines as the human treaded over the dark and tainted soil.
Gems, crystals, and minerals began to show there edged sides as if they where waiting and watching for a foolish human to fall into there midst amongst the cold and frigid darkness!
Greedy hands began to skim over the lined walls, pulling out gems as the human walked by, but unknown to him a trap was readying to be sprung and the next move he made was to be his last. A pit filled with sharp edges lied in wait, a pit created by there own guardian. The inferior human fell to his doom, scraping and catching his loose flying limbs on the shards, tainting them with his blood!
Amethyst began to chuckle over his success of destroying this trespasser, but to his own knowledge he didn't expect what would happen next. His own mistake! The angels heart filled with greed over his guarded possessions, items he once used to share with all and allow those to peer upon there beauty, but a heart turned cold and sour would soon end in sorrow and tears.
With that the Amethyst was sent to the place known as earth to repent for his troublesome soul filled with greed, anger, and hate!

Appearance:
Well lets start at the top, Vin is your normal... looking person I guess, no no I'm just kidding!
So... his hair is brown, with a blond spot toward the front, now lets not pass up the length... the hair stretches down to his shoulders, but which of course is tied back in a small lazy like pony tail at the bottom where a few strands drape across his face and cover partially his blue... very blue eyes!
Vin usually wears just a black t-shirt with pinstripes careening down the front, sides, and back... snazzy, right?
Now below the belt Vin wears light blue jeans that are faded on the knees, back pockets, and mostly around the hem of the leggings.
Onto the shoes... well there black of course, nothing special about them!
Now to the coup de gras... Tattoos, now you may think ooh he only has one, but your wrong... this young elf's body is cluttered and filled with tattoos! Ranging from various pictures... that we won't go into much detail since they have reason behind them... after all Vin is an elf... but of the wild persuasion... what you couldn't tell from his naturally tanned skin tone?

Personality:
Quiet, subdued, withdrawn attitude, but at most times Vin will be a little energetic... given the right time and substance really! Usually a good person to be around sometimes gives off good vibes and cheers people up... but there have been times he has been known to wig out over the little things.
For example... you see that table over there! Yes yes that one... that one pencil sticking out higher than the others... that?s a pet peeve! If everything doesn't match or a little off he gets finicky about it, and will start rambling off on other things!
Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Organized things, matching items, food, and energy giving substances!
Dislikes: Unorganized items, little short tiny people, and sometimes little... babies!
Hobbies:
Whooo don't get me started... the list is way to short! Mainly just organizing things... and umm... well he does have a lot of tattoos, you could count that as one!
Update:
I guess you could say Vin is begining to question alot of things... maybe getting a little to smart for his own good.
