Kumoru decided that it had been a bit too long since he had taken Donat and Serif out to the park. This decision had been reached immediately when the mage had nearly been trampled by the two rambunctious children as they chased each other around his home. Trying his best to be patient with them both, Kumoru had promptly thrust them into their outside shoes, taken each by one hand, and walked them with militaristic directness to the open fields of the park.
As soon as her father released her hand, Serif took off across the grass, giggling and waving her arms. There was so much more space out here to play, so it would be so much easier not to run into Daddy! Squealing gleefully, the girl slowed and turned around halfway to make sure her brother was following. It was still his turn to catch her!
Donat dropped to all fours once Kumoru let him go, and, in spite of the mage's encouraging him to try walking on two feet, the goat hurried after his sister on hands and feet. Felt so nice to have grass underhand and underfoot again~
