So, we've all been paralyzed by Gackt's hypnotic eyes, haven't we?
Now, is it his real eyes or is it lenses? while i'd like to be inside the obsessive-fangirl dream and say that it's of course his real eyes since his birth 1540, thinking realistically, it probably isn't (not his birth year nor his eyes). Or?
i've been thinking that the sunglasses he likes to wear to music shows all the time is to hide his eye color while he's not wearing the lenses. and we do know that gackt has a bad sight on one eye (it was only one, wasn't it? )
but when i watched a utaban episode today they zoomed in his eyes while he was wearing the sunglasses (the point wasn't the the eyes) and his irises looked really bright through the glasses too. Now i'm seriously wondering, is it his real eyes or still just his favourite lenses? I don't think Gackt looks really stereotypically japanese, could he have forgein blood in his holy veins?

To start off...Gackt's eyes were the first thing to cause me to be obessed with him.
Though, I'm not quite sure about those bright irisis you speak. It is possible he could have some foreign blood him.
Someone once told me his real eyes are blue...but that might be a rumor.

I don't know. I looked at his photos during his Malice Mizer days and the irises looked pretty brown. I don't know, but I got a feeling that those are lenses he wears now. Either way, they look great on him and it makes him more culturely open with the world by changing his appearance. He's a human chameleon in my opinion, but we still love him right?

I don't know if those are his real eyes or not. But if they are not his, it still looks really nice on him. and in the Malice Mizer days his eyes did look pretty brown.

they are fake I found a photo nexed to his more current one and it was of him in high school...black eyes and glasses, but still so danm sexy!

Well, I've heard that he has some french in him. Whether or not this is true, I don't know. But I really don't know it his eyes are truly blue but if they're fake, those are some damn good contacts. 3nodding

I'm pretty sure they aren't. I have seen Gackt's eyes as blue, purple, and a greyish/brown. Gackt wears glasses so I am pretty sure they are contacts, I think that is another reason why he always wears sunglasses to, they are way cooler looking than normal glasses.

He actually changes his eye contacts frequently...purple, ice blue, dark blue, even brown, etc etc. He just loves the change I think~ Young at heart and in soul 3nodding
As for the rumors of him having some french in him...? Not so sure about that as he retains particular features of a Japanese native. THough I can see where anyone could have gotten that from his nose features and his cheekbones... NOse is long and cheekbones are high like a Caucasian.
So yeah...me,personally? Adore his eyes blue.
Yes I did see the picture but as I recall it was in an interview of some sort. think it's on Youtube some where. Good luck finding it....O_O 3nodding
