Introduction
Unlike what most people try to do a ninja should never rely on only his chakra, you never know when you are going to run out of it or when your character will run into an enemy that can defeat all your jutsus with ease. Ninjas are also assigned to missions that require stealth and assassination. In those moments a ninja that uses rasengan, for example, would be easily detected and killed. In those situations using poisons and other tools might turn the tie to your favor. Also making a character that masters the use of a weapon combined with chakra might well be a better option than an over used Uchiha, Hyuuga or any other clan from Konoha. On the next few post you will find a list of weapons and ninja tools that might help you greatly on your missions.
Duel Weilding This is only for use with weapons of the same catagory. Only 1 handed wepons can be used(daggers, short swords, kama, kunai, ect). Using two weapons at once can increase a persons attack power but at the same time lower their defensive power as is the nature of most duel weilding. Even though it can be argued that by using two weapons one could block with one and attack with the other, it is still also true that a weapon isn't as good a defensive item as say a sheild or simply focus.
Rules of Duel Wielding First off, any user that wishes to duel weild must have at least 100 points of skill in the appropriate skill for that weapon. No exceptions.
Secondly, a user can only duel wield the same type of weapons. In other words, you can't have a dagger in one hand an a kunai in the other. This is because the varying degree of talent that would be needed to successfully compensate for using the two weapons in unison is just a bit to much to be feasible for this system and it'd just be a pain. Certain weapons, however, may call for duel wielding (the Kusarigama for instance) in which case the 100 point rule only applies for the main part of the weapon.
Third, anyone who wishes to duel wield gains 1 additional attack turn per post, regardless of level.
Fourth, when you do a double attack, it counts as one post. Meaning if you type something like "...brings both blades down to slash across his chest..." that would count for one attack. Damage for this is calculated as adding the damage for both weapons and multiplying the min and max by 1.4. The answers you get are what go into the min and max. However, if you do this, you loose the extra attack turn for that post. Also, you lose one more attack turn for that post for every 2 times you do this sort of attack. Meaning, if you have 6 attack turns, duel wielding will grant you an additional one meaning you have 7. But if you decide to double attack as stated above, you loose that extra attack. Further, if you do a double attack 2 more times, you loose one of your natural attack turns for that post meaning you can only do a maximum of 5 actions in that post instead of 6. Do another 2 double attacks and you are finished as that will mean your natural attack turns has dropped to 4 for that turn.

Ninja Weapons
The most important Ninja weapon is his body and mind. However, Ninjas also used many weapons and tools (Ningu) to complete their tasks easier. There was no limit for Ningu. Ninja used many weapons and tools that varied from very large ones to tiny ones. Their weapons and tools could easily be hidden and used in many different ways. So, some of the tools were weapons and other way around. Many tools were covered so that it couldn't be noticed that the object is actually a weapon. Ninja used various tools and weapons that can be divided to the categories of: projectiles, flexible weapons, hard weapons and blades, fire and explosive weapons and combined weapons. Ninjas were innovators which, according to their time, invented many weapons and tools from which some are used even today by many Special forces units all over the world. These are only some of them that helped the Ninja to be the best warriors of their time.

Poisons
Poisons are substances that if inhaled, ingested, absorbed or injected, harm the structures or functions of the body. Some types of poisons may act immediately on the body, others may act more slowly. Some poisons, such as cyanide, are so toxic they only require a tiny amount to be harmful, while others, such as garden sprays, are cumulative and require exposure over a long period to achieve the same level of toxicity. Some may be carcinogenic, and cause fatal cancers some years after exposure.
All poisons have a different effect and a different way of obtaining. Poisons can be extracted from animals, bought from the different stores around the villages or created in laboratories. All and each single type of poison have a fortitude saving throw that will be listed here, custom poisons will have a saving throw depending on their effectiveness. This will be better explained later.
The poison could be used in various ways, depending on the situation. For example, the ninja could slip it into the victims food while its being prepared. Without knowing what kind of danger he was in, the victim would eat the food infested with the poison. Not all the poisons used by the ninja were fatal, some of them were used to merely paralyze or cause blindness. It not always necessary to kill.
Another thing a ninja can do is dip their weapons, such as the shuriken or their sword, in the poison. This was so when it punctured the skin of their target, the fast acting poison would take its course, causing much more devastating than the blade itself.
Types of Posions:
Blow fish-Puffer fish: This poison is very strong and can kill in small doses. Its normally used on assassination based missions, the ninja can slip the poison into the victims food and use it to kill it without living trail or the need of a direct approach to the victim.
Bufo marinus: Bufo marinus is a large toad with an extremely toxic poison behind its eyes. This poison can be used on darts, arrows and spear tips. Spiders and Scorpions: Spiders and scorpions poison can also used. Not always just the poison extracted from them, but sometimes it was just as easy to slip a couple of scorpions in the bed of the victim.
Organic Poisons: One of the organic poisons used was made from common fruit. Cyanide was extracted from a variety of sources, such as apple seeds, plum seeds, cherries seeds and many more. It was readily available to the ninja and was used often. Tomato and rhubarb leaves also held a poison. Eating the leaves cause cardiac problems, ultimately resulting in cardiac arrest.
Amanita phalloides: The amanita phalloides is a deadly mushroom. The poison in the mushroom was 10 times more powerful than that of cyanide. Eating the mushroom was certain death, and its easy to slip a piece of the mushroom in almost any meal.

God Legacy and Specialty Weapon General Information
Each of these weapons have special stats enhancers that can only be obtained while the weapon is in use. Just having the weapon on your person does NOT give you it's stat enhancers. You must have the weapon armed and ready for use in RP.
Specialty weapons can be created by most people with a decent Blacksmithing skill. However, the costs for these weapons will be a bit higher than their normal variation.
God Legacy weapons can be created by some very talented Blacksmiths but even these must get approval first. Ones already in existance must be quested for and gathered by the user in significant RP. Also, they must meet certain requirements to even be able to take the mission. Only one of each God Legacy weapon is in existance. Even the creater Blacksmith can't recreate the exact same weapon.
To learn about the creation of God Legacy and Specialty weapons from a Blacksmithing stand point, please view the Crafting Guide.
Specialty
Specialty weapons are those that are enhanced or specialized versions of already existing weapons. These can normally be created by any old blacksmith for the right price. Specialty weapons cannot have a special ability. They will usually have enhanced damage but can increase one additional stat for free or 2 stats increased with 1 other stat getting a reduction.
God Legacy
The cream of the crop. The most powerful weapons in the world. These things are usually legendary and created long ago. It is possible to create a God Legacy now but the requirements are so sever that it may even end up killing the attempting blacksmith if they aren't worthy of the deed.
Many of these already created weapons have been sealed away by different individuals for fear of their power. Due to this, anyone seeking the power of these weapons must first discover the location of these weapons and then quest to obtain the weapon.
God Legacy weapons tend to have something called a 'soul' according to many blacksmiths and weapons enthusiest. Not a soul as we would know it but more a type of conciousness where they can pick and choose their own owner. To grant you their power, they'll usually test you.
Only 1 God Legacy per Character.
Template

Quickly, the town elders tried to request any and all help they could but the shinobi village was too far away and even if it was close enough, they didn't have the funds to pay for any shinobi's assisstance. It was pure fate that a master of Fuuin jutsu was passing through and in need of lodging and food. In exchange for helping with the forge of something to stop the demon, he was given anything he wanted. He chose the village elder's oldest daughter and inscribed a seal upon the girl's head. At the same time, he instructed the blacksmith to construct solid metal gauntlets with rubber on the inside. When the demon struck, the girl was adorn with the gauntlets and sent out to do battle (note that she had not a lick of any kind of combat training.) When the demon came to strangle the girl to death, the seal activated, transfered to the gauntlets and sealed the demon within. The power that was let loose was so great that it turned the gauntlets black. Freed from the curse, the village rejoiced and the Fuuin Jutsu master stayed in the village with his wife and held on to the gauntlets. No one knows what happened to the gauntlets or the family after the last Shinobi War. Discription: A pair of metal gauntlets that were chared black but still hold much power. They crackle with electricity from time to time when the demon within tries to get free. In-Game Stats: Dex +50, Taijutsu +10, Gain's an additional 4 attack turns per post while equipped, Con -10, Str -30, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu becomes impossible to use while these are in use. (Can't move fingers well enough), Damage is reduced to 1-10 if user hits a barrier or wall made of earth. Damage: 10-25 + str. mod Requirements: Jounin or higher, Lightning Affinity, Str 80+, Taijutsu Skill 80+, Will Save 30+ Aquisition: The user must already be traveling near or in the Land of Clouds. They will be approached by a strange man to come help with the village. The user will experience the same events that happened in the story and they will play the part of the Fuuin Jutsu master or the Mayor's daughter. They must survive the night with at least 10% of their HP while combating a lvl 70 enemy. A night will be dicated after 30 posts from both the user and the monster. At the end, so long as the player survives, they will be awarded the gauntlets. Owner:

Name: Kusanagi no Tsurugi (Grass Cutter) Type: Katana, Ranged History/Description: The legendary Kusanagi sword is the personal weapon of the snake Sannin Orochimaru. This sword has the power to extend to any length and has the special ability to be maneuvered without necessarily requiring the wielder’s hands. Part of the Legend of Kusanagi is that the blade can control the wind, but that has yet to be seen. This famous katana was taken from the tail of a great eight-headed serpent monster slain by the storm god Susanoo himself, whom later presented Kusanagi no Tsurugi to the sun goddess Amataretsu in the hopes of settling an old dispute.
The blade had originally belonged to Konoha but was stolen, along with Nidaime Hokage’s famous Raijin sword, when the snake Sannin Orochimaru betrayed the village. Even long after Orochimaru’s death, Konoha had never given up on retrieving the blade: it was a menace, a menace that must either be retrieved and brought back to its rightful village or eliminated. For the first few centuries, Konoha relented; with the news that Kusanagi was permanently sealed. But after learning that the seal was undone by another Mangkeryou user, their alarm grew into rejuvenated efforts to retrieve the blade. After countless failures on part of previous generations, and encountering many forgeries, the blade’s location was finally approximated, tracked down, and procured by the Senju head of family, the Sannin Lord Zephyr’s team. Though he and his squad tried their best to destroy the sword, they were unsuccessful in their attempts. So they brought Kusanagi back to the village and gave it to the Council of Elders for debate on what to do with the sword.
Hyuuga clan, who had been among those most firmly insistent for the blade’s destruction, were unhappy with the reported results: the sword that threatens their family most could not be destroyed. So they instead insisted that the blade be safeguarded by their family. However, the Senju clan refused, arguing that for the sake of keeping the peace, to maintain the dangerously fragile balance of power among Konoha’s twelve founding families, they cannot condone that request. After much prolonged, vicious debates, and by the urging of Zephyr, Kusanagi was finally given to his student Yokou and from since on had rested in the Hyuuga princess’ keeping. In-Game Stats: +20 to Strength and Dexterity. Damage (normal): 20 - 50 + 1.5 Str mod. (+Double Dex mod. to max damage) + Half of additional chakra channeled Kuu no Tachi - Long Sword of Sky (God’s Legacy Mode) Cp: 20 Cp (levitating the blade) + 60 Cp (to send Kusanagi flying) + 10 Cp (for the blade to further dig into the opponent) + Any additional chakra channeled Damage: 20 - 50 + 1.5 Chakra mod. (+Double Dex mod. to max damage) + Half of additional chakra channeled Drawback: The required single handseal must be maintained to levitate the Kusanagi blade and to control its movements through the air. -5 to all strength-based Taijutsu (Gouwan included due to unrefined angling) rolls and damage from all sealess Ninjutsu/Genjutsu techniques performed by the user (while Kusanagi is wielded) is halved, due to preoccupation. The blade has a conscience of its own and must be subjugated. Handseal requiring techniques (unless single sealed) cannot be utilized at all, unless in the case of sword based (e.g. Raiton-type) techniques, which can be channeled through the blade. Requirements: 60 Chakra, 300+ Concentration, 400+ Ninja Weapon (Katana), 250+ Chakra Control Ranks Special: Kusanagi possesses the special ability to penetrate any armor, barrier, or protective techniques. Even if the sword is knocked out of the wielder’s hands, the user may still control Kusanagi by will. Because the blade possesses the special ability to extend its length, Attack Ranged is used even when applying Kusanagi to close combat. When channeling chakra-based techniques (e.g. Juuken) or any of the sword based Raiton-type techniques (e.g. Chidori) through this sword, such attacks will be treated like the normal rules for katana-inflicted attacks. Other: All God’s Legacy receives +2 to attack rolls and damage. Owner: Hyuuga Yokou (ProtoXtreme)

Name: Sci’on “Cutting Wind Star” Type: Nodachi, Melee History: The existence of Sci’on and Sei’on, the Twin Stars of Kiri, dates back to long before the swords were even brought to the island village. The twin master nodachis were crafted by a Yukigakure master blacksmith. When his descendants, the Fubuki clan, moved from snow-capped Yuki to Kiri, they brought the swords with them. This blacksmith, by the name of Shinrou of the Snow Country, was well-known for fashioning new metals, especially mithril and titanium into fine swords, unlike his contemporaries whom was more used to crafting with the traditional bronze, iron, or steel. His two masterpieces, Sci’on and Sei’on, were crafted not too long before his death and his only pieces that involve tampering with rune metal. With these blades, Shinrou had hoped to seal the power of the tundra, his rare type ice chakra.
But under the gravitational forces of the moon (the swords were only worked on at nighttime) the swords accepted only part of his chakra, incidentally, Sci’on and Sei’on accepted affinities differing from each other. Thus their power was no longer allowing the channeling of ice based techniques through the blades but rather instead had become the special ability to wholly control their own respective affinities, including ripping apart elemental ninjutsu manipulation: destroying opposing techniques with the same affinity from the core while amplifying the same affinity techniques resonated by their own power. Sci’on was able to rip wind based chakra from elemental manipulation and either absorb or reflect a mirroring technique of the same affinity, while Sei’on, with water based chakra. Shinrou named these two swords the ‘twin stars’ because they were created from rune ore mined from the same rock and the swords came to represent the balance between the sky and sea, meaning neither sword is more powerful than the other, but rather balanced like the yin-yang symbol.
Rune metal, according to legend, is a ‘living’ metal and it is thus believed that Sci’on and Sei’on choose their owners. When close to each other, the swords resonate (so the wielder of one notes the presence of the wielder of the other). Additionally, rune endures the ages well, never rusting like normal swords. Though Sci’on, unlike Sei’on, had been brought to battle numerous times, no one had ever successfully damaged the sword: a factor which consequentially was wrongly attributed solely to the metal but anyways assumed the same for its sister sword. It was never ascertained exactly from what ore rune was refined from, as Shinrou took the secret with him to the grave. However, many believe Sci’on and Sei’on were forged from meteorite ore: which seems to make sense as there are thousands of tiny, unseeable pores, small enough that durability isn’t lost, but enough so that when chakra is channeled through, can act in a manner similar to tenketsu nodes.
Because a blacksmith was supposed to only be able to forge one God’s Legacy in his whole life, it was believed that Sci’on and Sei’on had been the cause of Shinrou’s early death. Description: A deadly, beautiful nodachi crafted entirely from rune metal (which is easier to channel chakra through than normal steel). Rune metal is extremely light and when tampered correctly, can create swift swords that are even more durable than the hardest diamonds. However, since rune swords are so swift that even the slightest flick of the wrist can inflict dangerous, deep wounds (thus being totally impractical for inexperienced shinobis), the twin stars are quite difficult to master, even for the most talented shinobi. In-Game Stats: +20 Strength, +25 Dexterity, +50 Weapon Skill (Nodachi), -25 Genjutsu, -50 Ninjutsu Damage: 30 - 50 + Str mod. (+Half Dex mod. to max damage) Requirements: 45 Strength, 80 Dexterity, 200+ Taijutsu Ranks, 250+ Ninja Weapon (Nodachi), Wind Affinity Special: *Adds Dex mod. rather than Str mod. to the Attack Bonus. *Fuuton techniques may be channeled through this blade without the cost of additional attack turns (takes the normal time as Taijutsu attacks). x1.5 to Fuuton damage (only when they’re channeled through Sci’on). Sci’on refines the wind wrapping around the sword into countless highly pressurized needle sharp points. *Kamikaze Kokufuku - Divine Wind Subjugation Cp Cost: 60 per use + 10 per turn maintained + 2 per feet extended As a sword with a consciousness, Sci’on seeks to protect the wielder it has chosen. Using its ability to harness the surrounding wind into the form of a powerful Fuuton-based shield, it would draw from either its own reserve or the wielder’s chakra as a catalyst to form a violent, protective cyclone around the wielder. This is treated as how one would with any shielding S-ranked Ninjutsu, with one exception: because Sci’on itself is the medium, there is no cooling time: either until disengagement or both the sword and the user run out of chakra. Generally, this is initialized by Sci’on’s own will when the wielder has fallen to 60% Hp or lower but if the user forces the cyclone to form, the Hp to break through is only at half.
Note that because of the nature of this shield, the only way to break through is fully breaking its Hp. However, if not enough damage was done to wholly break the shield within one turn, then it recovers to full Hp the following round. To the benefits, there is one glaring drawback: Sci’on takes chakra indiscriminately and would do so even if the wielder is attacked at 0 Cp (hence resulting in death). Thus if the user runs dangerously low on chakra, it is recommended to return Sci’on to its sealing sheath. *In a Taijutsu chain, if opponent fails a direct contact attack, if he/she do not fulfill a balance check against the Ninjutsu check of this technique, then the following attack is cancelled. *This shield always takes six attack turns (or one whole post if the character possesses less than that number of attack turns at that level). *Bakkumira Tsurugi no Sora - Mirroring Sword of the Sky (God’s Legacy Mode) The power to forcibly break the bonds in wind and ice based ninjutsu, by separating wind element manipulation from the opponent’s chakra affinity, thus literally tearing apart the enemy Jutsu by a manipulation implosion effect (without the respective elemental chakra to support elemental manipulation, the opposing Jutsu literally falls apart). Opposing Fuuton Jutsu damage is totally nullified while Hyouton damage is halved. One may wager a Ninjutsu check for total Hyouton nullification (Sci’on’s Mirroring Sword of the Sky ability is counted as an S-ranked technique).
When reflecting the opposing technique, the wielder must first supply half of the opponent’s Jutsu Cp cost because when the technique was broken apart by Sci’on, it already absorbed half of the original chakra in the enemy Jutsu to begin with (even if Sci’on has enough chakra stored to technically reflect a technique without aid, the user must pay the half cost to guide the attack path). Unless the wielder is of the Hyouton Creation line, they may not reflect Hyouton based techniques with this ability. The reflected technique casted by Sci’on wraps around (and subjugates) what remains of the original opposing technique casted by the opponent and the two converges briefly into the form of the heavenly dragon, Kouryuu, before a powerful cyclone-like backlash wave sweeps through the area straight for the opponent. *The opponent must perform a successful balance check or consequently lose half their attack turns. *All chakra absorbed/stored by Sci’on remains in the sword for up to 7 rp days. Please mark this clearly. This stored chakra allows for the user to use more powerful techniques using the same elemental type chakra stolen from the opponent. *Heavenly Backlash Wave Sci’on’s amplification ability (and the nature of how the opposing technique is returned) allows for the roll of 1d3. The damage of the technique Sci’on deflects and creates a backlash wave out of is multiplied by the result. The heavenly backlash wave may only be used in reflecting a technique and only when your DC overcomes the opponent by 50 or more. It cannot be created on its own. Cp Stored: Other: All God’s Legacy receives +2 to attack rolls and damage. Owner: Stolen from Kiri. Sci’on is currently missing, whereabouts unknown.

Cp Stored: Other: All God’s Legacy receives +2 to attack rolls and damage. Acquisition: As a secret treasure of the Fubuki clan and of Kiri, it obviously won’t be something easy to know of or acquire. The character first must have some legal reason as to how they know about the weapon. Next, they must do research to find out where the weapon is. A minimum of 10 successful Research checks with a DC of 90 must be performed to collect information on Sei’on. As the quest leads to the Fubuki compound, one must travel to Kiri and pay a visit to the Fubuki clan’s ancestral estate.
If you have a clansman as a guide, good for you. If you don’t, good luck escaping all the booby traps in the estate. Again, if you have a guide...the questioning by the Sannin guardians may go smoother... If you don’t...well, if you do happen to be successful in swaying them, you gain entrance to the clan library (Diplomacy vs Bluff). In the library, a minimum of 20 successful Research checks with a DC of 75 is required to learn that the sword following the theft of Sci’on, to prevent the same fate from befalling Sei’on, the sister sword was trapped in a never-melting ice prison in the center of the lake in the Cave of Origin: one of the many caverns beneath the Fubuki estate.
Unfortunately, the Cave of Origin had caved in after some clansmen had unfortunately made a slight miscalculation: by clearing underground caverns to the main village of Kiri in the effort to rescue villagers from the destruction of the main village, other tunnels had ended up caving in as a result. Well, the tunnels leading to where Sei’on was trapped happened to be among them. So give them a hand in clearing out the tunnels! But...what’s this? When you finally see the sword in the lake...to make matters even more troublesome, this ice Sei’on is trapped in isn’t something you can just take a hammer and break, or melt with Katon Jutsus either. Don’t touch it either, or the pond the ice pillar is suspended in. Mere contact alone would begin irreversible freezing.
A Hyouton sealing technique. But what this? The sealing technique that was used to create Sei’on’s prison had been lost? Great. But the clansmen seem to have some idea. In the case that he passed away too soon, the former clan head of family, who had created Sei’on’s prison, had left clues among each of the thirteen sects. You will have to undertake thirteen different sub-missions to track and locate the current survivors of each of the different sects, and piece together each clue.
So the sealing technique is pieced together... Chinese huh? Well, by now, assuming that you have gotten some clansmen on your side dear adventurer...have one of them translate. If you don’t, be warned: some though are native speakers may not be wholly fluent, some may lie, or some may ask for a fee and might still lie. Good luck with that. Well, anyways, once the riddle stage is done, the secret to recreating the unsealing technique is at hand. Follow the respective requirements of the unsealing technique and Sei’on will be freed of its prison.
Then Sei’on would just proceed with its own test. Simple, right? ;D

Name: Hitokage-Hisan Kanadzuchi (Soul-scattering Hammer) Type: Morning Star, Ranged History: Long ago, there was said to have lived a powerful sorceress named Hyacia, known as the “Heavenly Tiger” who shepherded the demons and sorcerers of the human realm. She was a piece torn from primeval night, born of darkness. Her weapon, the Morning Star, her famous “soul-scattering hammer” was said to inflict stunning damage upon the slightest contact. However, the Heavenly Tiger, though immortal, lacked a physical essence and needed to inhabit different hosts. In time, she chose a young woman, from one of the seal-master clans that served her well, a disciple she herself had raised from a small child and who she would grow to love: the first sage Lailah. But, a few months before the planned soul transfer ritual, the child was attacked and near fatally injured by Hyacia’s enemies. Enraged, Hyacia turned her soul-scattering hammer on her enemies, massacring and allowing the weapon to absorb their souls and powers. But the weapon, demonic in nature and origin, had indulged in much blood and became too much for her weakened state to handle. Hyacia handed her powers to the child before she herself was absorbed by the hammer. It was the child, the ancestor of the Senju clan, who tamed the hammer and it had since then been passed down in her line.
Members of her clan guarded the weapon well for centuries, until it disappeared in the First Shinobi War, after the Senju clan had gone on the decline. However, the secret to wielding and mastering the weapon remained with that line. With the help of genetic engineering, the Senju clan greatly recovered from its drastic population diminishment. A decade earlier, the Senju head of family Zephyr, during his years of service for the Konoha ANBU (as captain of the forces) chanced upon the hammer during the siege of a rogue shinobi village. Though his squad was greatly outnumbered, by many of whom were much more powerful than his squad members themselves, and with Zephyr’s own weapon had been shattered protecting his men, the situation looked hopeless. Perhaps it was the hammer or Hyacia’s spirit who called out to Lailah’s distant descendant; but Zephyr, almost seemingly possessed, was able to wield the weapon easily and massacred the rogue shinobi. Description: This is the soul-scattering hammer’s normal appearance: in this state, it looks like a great, spiked wrecking ball (8 inches in diameter and all around) attached to an immensely long chain on a polearm-like handle, which when fully unwounded (usually the chains are kept wounded at the base of the handle of the weapon), normally spans up to 50 feet. In its demonic form, the hammer opens up, into a four-petaled, flower-like shape. Oni-like, demonic souls are trapped within each of the four petals. The latter serves more of as an intimidating tactic, as the hammer actually calls out for “blood” in its demonic state. The only way to return the hammer to normal would be to forcibly draw back the chakra stolen by the hammer. The spirits of those who fall to the hammer are consumed by it.
In-Game Stats: +30 Strength, +25 Dex, +60 Weapon Skill (Morning Star), -25 Genjutsu, -60 Ninjutsu Damage: [Hammer] 50 - 80 + Str mod. [Chain] 20 - 40 + Str mod. Sairen Kyuuei, Suitai Odori - Song of Sirens, Draining Dance (God’s Legacy Mode) Description: When the Morning Star opens, though it holds many spirits that it had absorbed over the ages, usually what is seen is the three main onis (who holds other spirits in their jaws). This is a granted feeding ritual of willingly opening the Morning Star. Though the hammer is open in its God’s Legacy mode, it differs from the berserker mode in that (provided that the user meets the required Will save and Concentration check numbers as not to lose control of the hammer), the onis can suck either mental energy or life force or both, in addition to the physical damage. It takes one attack turn to activate the God’s Legacy mode (the Will save and Concentration check count under the same attack turn). Cp: 30 Cp per turn. Damage: Roll 1d4. If a 1 is rolled, only normal damage is inflicted. If a 2 is rolled, equivalent MHp damage is also inflicted. If a 3 is rolled, equivalent Cp damage is also inflicted. If a 4 is rolled, both MHp and Cp suffers equivalent physical damage. Drawback (God’s Legacy Mode): If an attack in the God’s Legacy Mode has failed, the user takes double the respective damages. The hammer doesn’t actually physically attack them, just sucks away at physical and mental energy (so normal damage to Hp and MHp). Drawback: If the opponent has a higher speed (higher DB in this case) than the user’s initial attack roll, he/she may try to disrupt the Morning Star’s attack pattern by utilizing an item (e.g. a kunai or shuriken) to pin the hammer’s chains down, thus forcing the Morning Star to lose momentum and hence causing that chain of attacks to miss. Requirements: 50 Strength, 80 Dex, 40+ Will Save, 250+ Concentration Skill, 200+ Taijutsu Ranks, 90+ Weapon Skill (Morning Star), Special: A legendary, demonic weapon that lusts for blood. Because of Hyacia’s spirit, the hammer could be considered to have somewhat of a “will” to protect its owner - well, that is if her request is fulfilled first. All attacks by the soul-scattering hammer are considered attack ranged. The user alternates between attacks from the hammer and lashes from the chains. If the opponent was directly hit by the hammer, he/she must pass a Fort check against the user’s attack roll or is unable to move due to intense pain until they pass the check. *A free trip, grapple, or disarm check can be done during your opponent’s turn (only if the opponent wasn’t able to dodge the previous attack pattern which must include chains as part of the attack pattern). *Berserker Mode: Once the hammer have absorbed enough blood (half of the opponent’s Hp), it goes into its demonic (berserker) state, in which the hammer opens up and is noted to having its own will: thus attacks in this state cannot be escaped from. The limit of the chain (up to 50 feet) does not become a problem as the blood taken from the opponent is actually crystallized into metal and adds to the chain links. In essence thus, the Soul Scattering Hammer is a living thing that is and will continue to grow. Hence Zephyr is sometimes seen giving the hammer a ‘trimming’ to keep the chain length manageable.
During this state, the user would lose control of the weapon (half of their chakra is forcibly eaten by the hammer). The user will then have to overcome a Will save of 40 and a Concentration check of 250 to draw out their stolen chakra from the weapon (but it is not returned to their chakra system) and return the hammer to its normal state or else the hammer will kill the opponent, before returning for its own user’s blood. The time necessary for the checks require the normal 2 attack turns. *Like with Hyacia, the hammer consumes the spirits (souls) of all those who falls to it: it is a thing with consciousness but without a conscience to distinguish friend or foe. Attack Patterns: [from the air] Approximated up to 30 feet in height (High Tumble - Hammer's spinning fall used as balancing point - all attacks are done by the chain lashes following in a vortex-like pattern) [forward] Up to a limit of 30 feet of unwounded chain, the weapon’s attacks may be up to the discretion of the user. [other] If the whole length of the chain is utilized, only the first attack is done with the hammer itself, the rest following are done by lashes from the chain. Other: All God’s Legacy receives +2 to attack rolls and damage. The Root of the Problem - Taming the Beast: It would be an understatement to say that Senju Zephyr does not like "that damned hammer". Speaking of the Soul Scattering Hammer, it'll probably bite him or try to eat him if it heard him voice that thought... Anyways. There's got to be something he could do about taming the thing. When he uses it, it whispers weird things into his mind. Bloody gorey things, to be specific. Great. He knew it had...um...unearthly stuff, but still...having a haunted weapon... Oh, why didn't he just get a normal sword like Yokou? Wait, he can’t call that thing normal either. It came from the gut of a snake after all - ew. Secondary Acquisition - Taming the Beast: To locate and dig up any intact records concerning the Soul Scattering Hammer from Konoha's rather dusty classified library section, a Research DC of 1000 (may be built up) should be done. Following, a minimum of 15 Gather Information checks with a DC of 90 should be completed, in order to compile the fragmented information on the Morning Star. But this is still not enough. The founding Senju family did not like the dangerous weapon either, so they had it sealed away for a good reason... The village library itself does not have all the puzzle pieces.
So repeat this process in the Senju library. Unfortunately, thanks to Senju preferring to archive the whole place using Fuuin techniques...the same DCs apply. The story behind the Soul Scattering Hammer would take travels to a now deserted portion of Fire Country (requiring a 5 day travel)... The quest becomes searching for a lost relic of Lailah (undergo a separate mission to locate the stone). Once the relic is obtained, the Soul Scattering Hammer...it reacts to it? The surroundings warp - a journey to the past, to Hyacia and Lailah's time. If Lailah can be saved this time around, the spirit of Hyacia within the hammer will judge the user worthy: and grant full control of the Soul Scattering Hammer.
During the length of the true mission, the possessor of the Soul Scattering Hammer remains in a coma-like state. Secondary Acquisition Reward: Zephyr gains better control of the hammer with Hyacia's blessing. The God's Legacy mode of the Morning Star may now be unlocked along with control over its berserker mode...or rather, more like preventing it (the subjugation checks no longer becomes necessary as the hammer will no longer steal chakra from its owner without permission) - however, a new determining line becomes, if he falls unconscious, the hammer will still go berserk on all other people near him: friend or foe regardless. Name: Living Metal Type: Varies History: A strange and wondrous metal that exists deep within the heart of Iwagakure. It is known as Liquid Metal because, once processed, its boiling point temperature is so low that even leaving it at room temperature begins it to melt. The Liquid metal was found by a stone ninja one day long ago while he practiced. At first he thought it was merely a trick of the light but upon closer inspection, he realized that the liquid that poured for the earth was neither silver nor anything he had seen before. Collecting as much as he could, he rushed back to his home village and showed the substance to a chemist in town. The chemist, after some test, revealed that this was a previously undiscovered type of metal.
Obviously, with this sort of thing, many wanted the substance and began to rip apart the wastelands of Iwa, looking for the substance. This, in turn, caused a mighty upheaval of the natural animals that lived in the desert. A small war between man and nature ensued. After which, the Tsuchikage of that time deemed the metal too dangerous to look for. In this same proclamation, the Tsuchikage demanded that the only known portion of the metal, that of the shinobi, be turned over to the Kage Tower for safe keeping.
The founding shinobi was torn. This was his discovery and yet they wanted to snatch it away. He tried to think of some way to keep it. That's when he was approached by a female traveling blacksmith. The smith had heard tale of the fabulous metal and wanted to see it with her own eyes. Upon viewing the strange substance, she was amazed and begged to be allowed to work on it to forge it into a weapon.
The shinobi was obviously skeptical about this. He couldn't think why the blacksmith would want to work on it with nothing to gain. But, in the end, he allowed the smith to work on it.
A full year passed. No one had seen or heard from the smith in all that time except the Shinobi who knew where she was. He would visit the smith once a month to check the progress. However, one night, a full moon it was, the Shinobi was followed. A band of thieves had heard of the wondrous metal and the price that some Nobility had placed on acquiring it and they wanted to cash in. A battle ensued and the Shinobi had done all he could to protect the smith.
In these dire moments, the smith was at a loss. The shinobi was vastly outnumbered and would eventually loose to the numbers game but she was too consumed with the weapon. That's when it struck her...an ancient belief among the blacksmiths that trained her; that if one pours their heart and soul into a blade, it shall become whatever they wish it to be. And, with that thought, the smith took the metal into a bucket and covered herself with it and fell upon her own forge flame.
A wondrous display of light and chakra could be felt. When it had subsided, the flames were actually consumed by a hunk of metal. When the young shinobi touched it, the metal began to shift and move at his will. He had a weapon to fight with now. Within moments, the enemies were reduced to bloody messes.
No one ever knew what became of that Shinobi or the blacksmith that aided him so. It is said that the Shinobi went around as a traveler, to repay the blacksmith for what he did. In the end, the metal was lost when the Shinobi died of old age. However, it’s a warming thought to know that he was allowed to live such a long life do to the loving sacrifice of his own mother.
Description: It can appear as anything the user wishes it to be. The only constant fact is that it always maintains a silver line somewhere in its design no matter what color or shape it may take. Its base shape will normally be something the wielder can wear rather comfortably.

In-Game Stats: If melee weapon- Str +10, Con+10, Weapon Skill(whatever it is) +100 / If range weapon – Dex +10, Wis +10, Weapon Skill(whatever it is) +100
Damage: Varies depending on the weapon it becomes. Simply check the weapons damage in the Weapon forum and add 5 to both the min and max damage.
Requirements: Str 20+, Dex 20+, Wis 40+, Chakra Control 100+
Acquisition: To find the weapon, you must first RP your character actually hearing about the weapon. This can be done with either a Research or Listen or Gather Information check all with a DC of 100. Next, you must travel to where the village is hidden. It’s randomized based on how many points over the 100 DC you are. 1 = Konoha, 2 = Kiri, 3 = Kumo, 4 = Suna, 5 = Oto, 6 = Iwa, 7 = Kusa, 8 = Taki, 9 = Ame(repeat numbers as such) To find out how many points over you went, simply subtract your final total DC from 100. You must then travel to that village (using real travel times!) and ask permission to search the area for the item from the Kage. Third, search for the metal in any of the none town threads of the village. The Search DC is 100. Fourth, upon finding the weapon, you will be subjected to a mental test of your worthiness by the blacksmith’s spirit that now resides within the metal. The test will be a string of Genjutsu-ish mind games placed upon the user to see what they would do. The tricks cannot be broken by any normal means except to do something based on the situation at large. 5 trials will be given to the user: a lost wallet, a crying woman, a burning building, an ambush, and finally, the possible death of 2 loved ones. Your reactions to these events must be graded by someone else to be fair. Things such as your speech, reaction, and thoughts should be taken into consideration.
Special: The weapon owner can change the weapons shape at will for a cost of 30 CP per change and 2 CP per post to get the weapon to keep its shape. However, the weapon must maintain its form for one full post, other than the post it was changed in, before it can change again. *The weapon cannot become multiple weapons. By this it’s meant that you can’t split the metal into multiple pieces unless a chain or some sort of link is left between the multiple pieces. So, you can create a bow and arrow with this but a visible chain link must be kept between the two. You can even create duel swords but their must be a chain or some sort of link between them. *Weapon size is not dependent on the metal’s size. In other words, any weapon that can be held in ones hands can be created with this metal. However, the length of the chain/link between two or more weapons created from this is limited to only 50 ft. Unless the metal is used ONLY to create a link/chain for two other separate weapons. Meaning, say you already have two swords and this metal was NOT used to create either one. You could use his metal to create a chain between the two weapons that stretches hundreds of feet. *The metal can also become a shield. Shields wall-type (like water wall or earth walls), and dome type. To see if the shield moves into place in time, the user treats the metal morphing like a ninjutsu and compares their ninjutsu DC to the attacker’s attack DC. If they win, the metal moves to form the shield in time. However, the weapons 1 turn holding rule still applies so this weapon cannot be changed to a shield if it was just changed in the very last turn. *Wall-type shields can protect up to 3 people at once. However, area effect ninjutsu can still get around it and do half damage to those being protected by it. It has a HP of: 10 + chakra mod + 2 per 10 in ninjutsu + 2 per 10 chakra control + 2 per 10 in Ninja Weapons. *Dome-type shields can protect only the user and blocks all types of attacks, including Genjutsu. It has a HP of: 20 + chakra mod + 2 per 10 in ninjutsu + 2 per 10 in chakra control + 2 per 10 in Ninja Weapons *All shields can only block for 1 turn and automatically return to their previous form when turn is over with. *If the shield is broken due to the opponent rolling a 20 or simply overcoming the HP, it automatically returns to it’s none weapon form and can’t transform for 2 turns. *The weapons formed from this metal can NOT be broken or destroyed under any means. Name: Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi (Stone Sword of Light) Type: Nodachi, Melee History: Hajime Taida forged the blade using his stone altering powers hundreds of years ago. His wife died from sickness and he laid the blade to rest with her.
His wife, however, resented him for spending so much time on the sword and not with her because she thought he was just building the sword for himself, she didn't know he was making it for her. So her emotions, still lingering in her body, resurrected her corpse and went on a killing spree, aimed at her husband. When her husband found out what happened, he explained the situation and sealed himself and her in the blade to always be together.
A relative finds the sword and thinks it’s a waste because it’s rusted and so he works on it, but the wife’s hatred had overcome her husbands seal and seeped out to him. He went crazy and started killing and, in a last ditch effort of sanity, sealed himself in the blade to try and balance out the anger and emotions inside. Having that many Taida in the blade, and since it was made in part using Taida chakra, it only reacts to our chakra. Anyone else touches it and it begins to possess them.
Description: Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi is a rather long Nodachi. So the blade is one of the longest out of all the swords. Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi is made out of pure white marble strengthened with steel. The handle is made out of solid gold lined with pure platinum. The handle is also embellished with blood red rubies. On the blade is an engraved scorpion and a horse. The blade doesn’t have a sheath due to its large size. The blade also has three sharp rivets, one near the tip, one in the center, and one towards the handle. The blade glows white when it is being used or when it senses its partners emotions.
In-Game Stats: +50 Weapon Skill (Nodachi), +20 strength, -65 Chakra per density change, If a non-clan/bloodline member touches it they go crazy Damage: 30 – 50 +Str mod normal, 15-35+Str mod softened 35-55+Str mod hardened Requirements: 45 Str, 200+ Taijutsu Ranks, 250+ Ninja Weapon (Nodachi), Taida Bloodline, Acquisition: To obtain the Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi you have to go to the Taida head and ask. The Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi is a weapon created for the Taida only. To obtain it you must undergo proper training that involves 10 successful pierces to a training dummy using the blade because the blade is hard to wield. DC:160. Last but not least you must perform one successful Diplomacy Check to ensure the blade that it is yours. DC:190 Special: Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi is indeed a special weapon. The blade was created by the Taida for the Taida. Ishi Ken kara Tomoshibi controls stone just as the bloodline. Only the Taida can properly wield the blade with no problems. The sword can change its density to be that of steel or that of jelly. The blade also seems to have a personality. Its personality changes because of its owner. Name: Sokonashi [Bottomless Gourd] Type: Item History: The sands of Suna are ripe with tales of magic and wonder. This is one of those tales that sprung from the legacy of the Great Thieves of the Dunes. There were 40 thieves that roamed the desert sands, many of which were missing nin from the still young village of Sand. The bandits roamed the desert always in search of the greatest treasures they could find. It was said that their hidden vault was filled with some of the most wondrous and fabulous treasures imaginable.
Among these treasures were such things as a golden lamp that was said to hold a powerful genie, a carpet that could fly and many other wondrous things. It was said that the genie drank from a gourd that was thought to be bottomless as he could drink from it for days and never have to refill it. He was quoted as stating that it was given to him by his master and thus he hadn’t placed any magics upon it.
The gourd was a mystical thing that could be filled with anything the user desired and would never stop absorbing as long as it was desired. Many a rival bandit groups vanished from the face of the earth and it was stated that it was by the works of this gourd.
In exchange for his freedom, the genie offered the leader this gourd and he humbly accepted it. From that moment on, the band of thieves was never the same. Arguing and thievery within the ranks cause them to fracture and become easy pray for the Hunter-Nin and Authorities after them.
At the end of his lifespan, the gourd was said to have devoured the leader of the bandits and itself. The very nature of the gourd has never been discovered.
Description: A small tan gourd that fits upon most common belts. It seems like a normal alcohol gourd till the cork, marked with the Kanji for release, is removed. Nothing can be seen inside and it’s even said that, if you look inside of it, it'll suck out your soul.
In-Game Stats: none
Damage: -10 CP per post from user just for having the Gourd on you regardless of if you use it or not.
Requirements: Ninjutsu 500+, Chakra 50+, Fuuin 100+
Acquisition: In Suna, there is a time when the people pray to the spirits to protect their souls. This time is known as ‘The Darkness’. It doesn’t happen often and is somewhat sporadic. It is marked by the fact that, even from the calmness of the desert on what was a clear day, not a single start nor the moon can be seen.
It is said that the world has been devoured by the Gourd but by daybreak, it has spat it back out as it is too foul for the Gourds taste. You must travel to Suna on this night and search the dunes for the resting place of the Gourd. It’s not hard to find as it is said to be the only spot showing light other than the village and nomad tribes. Due to the darkness of the night, you’re sight related checks will consist of nothing but a 1D20 roll even if you bring your own lights. You must match a DC of 100 within 10 turns. If you do not meet this, then you must start again from scratch.
Upon finding the source of the light, you find that it is a cave beneath the sands. You have to find an entry point using a Search check vs DC of 100.
Once you have gained entry, you will find the empty halls of the Thieves of the Dunes. At the back will be the Gourd. However, so is the spirit of the leader of the Thieves. You must find a way to get the Gourd from him. You can either: - do battle with him ( Lvl 40 Jounin with 10,000 HP but half Dex/Ref/Dodge due to being dead and possessing a dead boy.) - bribe him with something of equal or greater value (Diplomacy Check of DC: 1000 to be gained in 3 turns) - Steal it from him (Slight of Hand Check of DC: 1000 to be gained in 3 turns) - Be devoured by the Gourd and then trick him into looking in so that he is sucked in and you come out (Bluff Check of DC: 2000 to be gained in 5 turns) *These checks can be substituted with other skills so long as they are applicable to the situation.
Special: *The gourd, when opened and used as a Ninjutsu, can absorb any jutsu that comes the user’s way and transfer half the absorbed CP to the user. *It should be treated as a counter. When being used, the user of this gourd needs to act as a Ninjutsu and compare their ninjutsu DC to the opponents Ninjutsu DC. If the user of this gourd wins, the Jutsu is absorbed. If not, they cannot take any other dodging or blocking measures during that post. *Treat it like an A rank jutsu. *Can also be used on Genjutsu but the user must first be able to detect and break the genjutsu under the normal rules of the genjutsu. *Takes 1 post for the Gourd to ‘digest’ the jutsu it absorbed and transfer the CP. However, the user can shake up the gourd and actually fire the jutsu back at the opponent for half the damage and using the Ninjutsu DC of the gourd itself. Owner:
