If anyone has even opened a shop for profiles or anything of the sort, you will know what I mean.
It seems people will pay alot for a profile theme to call there own, I know I'm about to make 7k of someone, and this profile wasn't even that hard.
It seems that people will throw away 15-100k for a well put together profile.
So what does everyone else think about making profiles for gold, is it truly the easy way to become rich?
And if you do make profiles how much do you charge for a normal one
(I charged 7k because I was feeling nice)

Well, I do agree with you that it is an easy way to get rich. I don't have a shop or anything, but one person PMed me offering me 10k to make her a profile.
I still don't understand why there are all these people paying for profiles, even through there are a bunch of tutorials around for free use.

I still don't understand why there are all these people paying for profiles, even through there are a bunch of tutorials around for free use. It just shows how lazy some people are, and how you can make a profit off of those who are lazy, hell I havent spent anything on a profile besides free time, I'm making a huge profit!

I dont think its the fact that they cannot make them, i think its the fact that they cant make them look nice, i mean it takes some skill to put a profile together and photoshop images for headers and background etc.
Im only 50% through making my own one.
Im considering opening a shop, just that with v2 Profiles coming out there will be a decline in buisness i assume.

[Urban~Ninja] I dont think its the fact that they cannot make them, i think its the fact that they cant make them look nice, i mean it takes some skill to put a profile together and photoshop images for headers and background etc. Im only 50% through making my own one. Im considering opening a shop, just that with v2 Profiles coming out there will be a decline in buisness i assume. I'm thinking there will be an increase, Not many will be using CSS anymore, and the drag and drop is limited, also they will be making a section in minishops just for profile selling.

You're right, time does go into these things. Maybe I'll open a shop to extort the lazy once I'm done with my own profile, and if people still haven't figured out to use the tutorials.

I Charged 3k for a simple one, and the person never paided up so i just quit.

At the moment, I'm just making profiles for free, for only my close friends. I might open a shop, but I've never opened a shop before, and don't know how many people will want a profile theme from me.

A guy who was totally fond of my profiles in tektek ordered me one and pay more than I asked him, I had a profile shop but people were too lazy to order correctly -you know fill out a form. So I quit too.

I am working on a profile for a friend.
This profile I think is worth atleast 25k.
He's getting it for 5k. xd
But yeah, making profiles is such an easy way to get rich.

I make profiles for free, well because I'm not the very good at them so I'm using other people as a pratice for me. I don't have very good ideas so people tell me there ideas and I make it for them. That helps me on what type of profiles I can do. Though sense the new system for the profile is coming out some profile bussiness will be shut down.

The thing is, many people who have profile shops are not using avatar art. They are using anime/other pictures and making something out of it for profit which is against the ToS.
