"Whats this?" Lian reached into the basket Sciz was carrying in his off hand. It quickly moved out of his reach and to his other free hand. Whatever it was, it was something Lian wanted to see more now since Sciz obiously didn't want him to look at it.
"It's not for you nor for you to know about. Now go pick out some clothes for your self, you're growing out of your old ones." The man pushed him away with his foot. Any parent witnessing this would surely chew him out for it, or perhaps they would think he's only an older brother. Who knows.
"Ew its not one of those things is it?" Lian made a face but made sure he was out of striking range. He gotten nailed last time he smart mouthed and didn't want to repeat the experiance. Sciz's temper was getting shorter with his smart comments.
"If you don't like it then go pick out some of your clothes, or I'LL do it for you." Lian slunk off with that comment and his father turned back around. He knew what that comment ment and rather not push his luck today.
He arrived at the shirt section of the boys/young men section. Several of the t-shirts had popular icons or logos on them, some even had phrases. Lian pulled a shirt off and read its quote to himself before snorting a short laugh and puting back on the rack.
"Sciz would just love that one." he grinned and his tail swished lightly behind him while he looked for more with possibly dirty jokes on them.

He snapped his head up and looked at the older kid who was standing next to him. He was surprised he hadn't heard him walk up, not that he was really paying attention to anyone around him anyways. He grabbed the shirt and put it upto himself like most people do to see if it looks good on them.
"I guess you're right, it really isn't my color." He mocked a fake frown and put it back on the rack. he turned to get a better look at the kid who was talking to him. He was feathery and had wings, so he was most likely a bird of some sort. Lian had never seen a green bird before though so maybe it wasn't. He played with the idea a bit in his head.
"Eh?" his attention snaped back into reality at the mention of his blonde hair. Idly grabbing a spike of his hair, that was now getting a bit long, looking at it as if there may have been something in it. Lian didn't see what was so special about it, not really. "Pretty?" He never associated his hair with being 'pretty'. Cool maybe. handsome possibly. Pretty just never occured to him. He just shrugged and accepted it, he couldn't think of any other way to deal with it.
"I do tend to wear alot of blue." He looked down at his current clothes which was a warn pair of navy blue pants, a tight sleeveless white under shirt and an open silk blue jacket that faded to white with a chinese dragon scrawled across it. Okay so maybe it wasn't the best example but alot of his wardrobe included blue. "They're not things I'd really want to wear either..."

Paxton grinned sheepishly as Lian held the shirt up to him. Oh no, not good at all gray would never work for Lian as far as Paxton was concerned. Seeing how badly Lian looked in gray only further made Paxton want to see him in green. So the boy held up an arm to the others face, he squished the middle of it right up against Lian's cheek.
"....Ah yeah, so much better! Green would totally look good on you." He lowered his arm, " I guess that's why red heads wear so much of the stuff, huh? They look damn swell." Not that Lian was a red head or anything, but that's what the color of his fur brought to mind for Paxton. Besides, green also worked with blondes, especially those whom had the pretty colored eyes that Lian had.
Paxton eyed the others outfit for a moment. It wasn't too shabby, could use some spicing up but Paxton would take care of that. Why wait in this store a moment longer when he had found a companion...not only that someone who was interested in finding the same types of weird clothes he was. The lovebird warily looked behind him, noting Naito who was now leaning, over a** up in the air, looking for something she had dropped. He could hear her voice faintly "...Now where the hell did it fall! I know its here some where..." Perfect, she wouldn't notice him.
"Wanna make a break for it?" He knew it was a great risk for himself and probably the other as well, but...cranky parents were no fun. "...I know the perfect store down the way!" He said the last bit a little loud and quickly smacked his hands over his mouth. Ops! Got to keep quiet. He looked around again nervously an then back at Lian with pleading eyes. "Pretty, pretty please?"

He jumped a little when Paxton put his hand up to touch his face. Well that was different, but green did look good. He reached out and grabed a green shirt to pull up the fabric next to his fur to get a better view forhimself. Yea it wasn't bad and his eyes were green afterall.
"Yea green is a good color." he dropped the shirt and it fell back into place on the rack. "I haven't meet and read heads tha- wait no my dad has red hair, never mind. Maybe he would get more ladies if he would wear green."
Speaking of his father, Lian glanced back at his father who was looking at something questionable farhter down Why was he looking at that kind of stuff anyways. Lian looked back when the other had mentioned leaving.
"YES" He put a hand over his mouth and glanced again back at Sciz. Nope he didn't hear him. "You lead the way of course." his tail twitched exitedly but he quickly calmed it when he realize his tail was moving. Tails seemed to have a mind of their own sometimes. Lian really didn't know where they were going but anywhere but here was good.

Lian nodded at the fact that adults didn't know anything. They never tried anything dangerous or exciting, it was always the same old boring thing. How was it possible they weren't bored?
He watched Paxton look around and nodded when he gave a signal. Lian quickly scurried off to try and exit with out the ever not so diligent parents noticing. He looked at the entrance noticing how far it was. This would take a bit of skill, thought Lian biting his lip.
In and out of those circluar racks was Lian's favorite way to go. Hugging tightly to a shelf to peak around and check on Sciz. What was in that magazine he was looking at anyways. No matter he was distracted and the time to escape was now.
Lian had mostly made it out unscathed. He had gotten hooked on something in the underwear section he would later find out to be a bra, but that was of no matter now. He was free and with this new friend who knew where the cool stuff was at.
"Where too now?" Lian gave Paxton a grin as he walked over to him.

Ah, sweet freedome, they had both cleared the perilous paths, through the underware section, over the babies clothes and across the stretch of no mans land. In his mind Paxton invisioned himself a seasoned veteran standing infront of his followers battle wounds proudly showing. 'Yes it was I who crossed and made that perilous journey...and I did it with out getting caught!'
Back and forth he shook his head, no more of that. Ugh, what a weird idea, just where had it come from? Paxton slung an arm over Lian's shoulder. "My friend....its off to do what ever the hell we want." Hell, he, he, he. Naito had told him not to say that word. Yet, Yahto had incouraged the him to say it. 'People find offensive language enticing...makes the person who speeks it look dangerous, and danger...is what people find attractive. Something forbidden.'
Paxton toddled down along the shopping center with Lain under arm and wing. "All though, the first stop is this place." Paxton pointed to a store which to any person who knew it for what it really was...would have called it a hooker store for teens. The fashions in the window were horrible trasy and most of all...utterably neat looking. "Lets go find you something green and spicy!" He said as he entered the store with a hop skip an a jump dragging Lian with him.
...Meanwhile at the other end of the mall Naito, who had finally stood up again realized that something very precious to her....was missing.

"Damn right." Ah yes one of those words, your parents don't want to use. Lian laughed a bit to himself for using, yes everything you aren't suppose to do is funny and exciting at that age isn't it? Lian wasn't quite old enough to figure out he liked cursing because it was a rebelious thing not a cool thing.
He followed just like a good sheep being herded to who knows where. Of a cliff more and likely is what their parents would equate it too. When they stopped at the store, he looked up at the intersting displays. It was dangerous, and edgy. Lian liked it. "Alright!" he followed right beside him, skip and everything.
"Alright lets see what you picked.." Sciz looked up not notice that Lian wasn't were he though he should be..

Lian had never seen so much metal on one peice of clothing before. He oogled and silently 'ahed' to himself at everything that Paxton took the time to look at. These clothes were really different, and he kind of liked it.
He let Paxton model shirts against him till he picked out the jacket with the pinned on sleeves. He looked it over and rally couldn't fnd anything to object to so Lian nodded. "Yea that looks good." he glanced in a mirror with it.
"I would like some pants, even though it only says 'no shirt no shoes no service'" Lian did have a point, though he also didn't know, running around with out your pants is considered public indecentcy. Something you could get arrested for actually or atleast a big fine.
Great he's run off again, is all Sciz could really think about. He started to look in the racks for him till he heard a woman near by with a similar problem. Maybe Lian had run off with her kid? Who knows, but two sets of eyes where always better then one.
"excuse me?" he asked, walking up to the distraught lady.

"Mmn, pants. I'm no good at picking out pants." Paxton rubbed the back of his head, almost embarrassed. "Ma' hates my sense of fashion when it comes to pants." He twirled around until his mostly bare back was facing Lian.
"I really hate clothes I guess you could say, they get in my way when I fly. But not these bad boys!" He reached back and smacked the tight little black fabric of his short, shorts. Yep, these things were nice, they didn't get in the way and..."Besides, I've been told the ladies like 'em. Do you like them?" He wasn't sure but the way that he had taught a couple of girls giggling at him earlier as he walked in the mall, he supposed it was true.
His hands rounded out over his bum and slid down his tail feathers. He had a tail just like Lian...well, kind of, erm not really. Paxton turned back to face his companion. "But Yeah I'm afraid if you want pants...I wont be of much help ...Erm, what was your name?" He had asked once but he supposed Lian had been distracted or something.
Naito, who was now thrashing through a pile of shirts turned around to catch a rather young man behind her. "Oh 'me who me?" The blonde pointed at herself shrugging her loose jacket up around her more. Suddenly it hit her. "Hey! Have you seen my son?" It may have gotten her an awkward stare from this guy but who cared, just forget the fact that she didn't look even old enough yet to have kids. "Tall, blonde....green skin and feathers?" Oh yeah, it was an odd description...but how could you fail to miss that if you had seen it?

"Oh sorry. My name's Lian or Lee if you'd rather." He had heard him earlier but was completely distracted. That had never happened before, but there were so many new things to look at. He would have blushed, but you're not suppose to blush around other guys. " What's yours?"
"How well can you fly? The last person I met with wings didn't seem to care for flying much." He trailed off as he looked at Paxtons shorts. they were tight, a little too tight probably. " They're intersting. They're not uncomfortable being that tight? I think they're nice even if your mum don't think so." Lian couldn't possibly fathom why girls would like tight clothes on a boy, not yeat atleast. Ah the age of innocence.
His attention driffted back over to selecting some pants. He needed pants of his own. Something tight but not as tight as Paxton liked his however. then he spotted something that matched the greens that his friend had picked out. "I think this is good." he held up tohimself a pair of drak pants with alot of red highlighting and who knows how many straps and peices of metal on it.
For a moment he just stood there looking at her funny then remembering he wasn't the only one with a D-Corp kid. "Eh well no I haven't seen your son. I was about to ask if you've seen my strangely colored son myself, actually." He motioned a height with his free hand. "He's about this tall, red and black skin, a bushy tail and bright blonde hair." He glanced at the young woman and the mess she'd made from digging for her child. " Actually I wonder..."
