It was mid noon, and Rhine was waiting, key in hand, outside on the front porch of a medium size white painted house. The shingles in some places were loose, and the windows dusty. The lawn, lack there of, was weeds. Rhine had hung a couple pots of Jasmine from the island that he'd grown on the right side of the house. Rhine's two boxes sat on the front porch.

Jasmine had managed to convince her mother to let her go on her own to see Rhine this time, it had taken some talking and some arguing, but she'd accomplished it. With the weather brightening up, Jasmine has obtained some shorts instead of the clothes she'd been forced to get in the winter when she'd first changed. So, wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt, and carrying the directions from Rhine in her golden hands, the dragon-girl finally comes into view of the house.
She smiles when she's certain that she's found the right place, knowing mostly because of the yellow and green boy on the front porch. Jasmine folds up the paper and sticks it in her pocket, picking up the pace to get there quicker.
"Rhine," she calls, waving, "Hello."
When she's closer, the fact that the scales on her face seem more freckle like as opposed to the solid mass over her nose and mouth as before. With her practice shifting by the method of bossing her scales around, not so many had stuck around when they were last told to go away. There is a similar effect on her arms and legs, though not so noticable.

Rhine took Jasmine into his arms, and kissed her. "Hello beautiful."
Rhine pulled away looking into her eyes, taking in her face. "You've been practicing." He then stepped back, and picked up a box.
"I haven't moved in a thing, wanted to wait and walk in with you." Rhine smirked. "Vicky is at work, so the place is all ours."
With a free hand Rhine opened the door, and lead her in, and to his room. Simplistic flat white paint coated the walls with a floral trim around the ceiling. The house had a living room, dinning room, kitchen, one bath, and two bed rooms.
"I hung Jasmine out side my window." Rhine smiled. He wasn't paying attention as he sat the box down. It landed on its side scattering a few books, an open lock box, and his diary.

"Oh," Jasmine laughs, kissing Rhine back gently and taking a hold of his hand when he leans back to get a look at her face- at once pleased that he's noticed that something is different, and even knows why.
"Yes, how perceptive of you to notice," she grins, following him to the box and only releasing his hand when he goes to pick up one of the boxes. Tossing her hair back, she leans down and picks up the second box to help Rhine out.
"Is Vicky nice?" she asks, following him into the house and to his room. Jasmine makes sure to get a good look at the house on her way by, though she's sure that she'll see more of it than just this one trip around it.
"This is a nice place," Jasmine comments, smiling at the back of Rhine's head and catching up to him again. Her eyes move to his window when he says he's put Jasmine there, and her smile brightens. Her ears twitch when she hears his box drop, scattering other items from it. She laughs inwardly, going and setting her box down beside the other one- only much more carefully than Rhine did, keeping all items inside the box.
While bent over, she takes the time to start picking up what fell from the other box.

"I have't really spoken to Vicky other than to except the offer of being her room mate. She works days, and I will work nights... Not like we'll see each other all that much." Rhine smiled. "She isn't as pretty as you..." Rhine blushed slightly.
"Thank You." Rhine smiles, and bends down to put his books back in the box. "I've got to get some shelves... No sense unpacking till then." He chuckled.

"Oh," Jasmine looks up at Rhine, holding his diary and lock box in her arms now. She doesn't put them back in the box, but instead stands up straight to continue the conversation.
"Won't you get lonely not talking to anyone all the time?" she asks, "And is how she looks something I should really worry about?" Her second question comes out in a more joking tone, and she laughs. Clearly she has no concerns with Rhine living with another girl.
"You need more than shelves, it looks like," she comments, looking around the bare room, "A bed would be a good start, I think. You didn't bring any furniture with you?"
She pauses, looking around the room, "Does your mother know that you moved out? She wouldn't send you off without something to sleep on, would she?"

Rhine snorted softly. "I won't miss that group of giggling girls at all..." He paused a moment. "Well, except one and that would be Tinker." He smiled. "She was always the sensible one of the lot."
Rhine crossed his arms. "I already told Cassara she could drop by any time... One girl on their own isn't a bad thing, however, the lot of them..." He shook his head.
"Where Vicky is concerned you've nothing to worry about." Rhine chuckled.
"I've got my sofa, which I'll have Tinker help me with to get it moved... But, that can come later." Rhine paused, and gave a straight face. "I asked nothing of my mother. I wanted nothing, but what I could produce..."
Rhine bent into the box, and pulled out a violin case. "She, however, did insist on this." He sighed. "All my sisters can play, except Cassara, but she'll learn as well. I tried to turn her down, but she insisted. She told me it would be a good way to help me to control urges I might have." Rhine rolled his eyes. "I'd much rather act on them." He smirked.
Rhine hadn't noticed what Jasmine was holding, and chucked the violin back into the box.

Jasmine smiles at Rhine's first comment, feeling a bit bad she never got a chance to meet more than his mother- it might be good to know exactly who he's talking about when he mentions Tinker and Cassara.
"No secret attachment to your family?" she asks playfully, then laughs at his assurance where Vicky is concerned, replying in the same sarcastic-playful tone, "Good, that's a load off of my mind."
Her smile fades a bit when Rhine suddenly turns serious about his mother. Understanding the need to be independant of our mother, the smile does return, though it's not quite the same smile.
"Oh, you play the violin, do you?" She asks, watching him throw it back to the box, "That's neat, I like music.."
She trails off thoughtfully, stepping backwards towards the wall and half-sits on the window sill.
"Why did you move out, Rhine?" she asks finally, "Your letters weren't very informative that way, there must be a reason. Is it just too much giggling?" Her last question comes out much less serious sounding, coming from his comment on how he won't miss the bunch of girls at home.

"I've got no attachment to the lot of them, mater of fact, i never really even associated with them when I was at home." Rhine sighed softly. "Except Tinker, and Cassara."
Rhine smiled. "Cassara you'll meet soon enough, she is like us..." He paused as that made her sound like an object instead of a person. "She's in a bit of a rut, and perhaps some girlish influence could be a good thing."
"I play only a few notes of the violin. It really isn't my thing..." Rhine sighed softly. "Mother cannot comprehend that. She says he can play, they call all play... I included."
"Between Cassara and You, there is a tie at why I left. Coming into a close second is my own personal reasons." Rhine paused. "Two dragons in one house... Not to mention that same dragon used my body and kissed a boy." Rhine quickly paused, knowing that he himself had followed up and done more than kissing but didn't say anything. "You, because I wanted to be closer than just mirrors." Rhine sighed, and clenched his fists. "And me, because I feel that the island offers nothing but ignorance to modern life. I want to learn what it is to be human, and not just some illusion."
Rhine walked over to Jasmine, and kissed her soflty on the lips. Then pulled out a small box from his pocket, and sat it next to her with a smile. Inside the box contained a white gold band. The center piece was a Jasmine flower, the center of the flower was a diamond.
Rhine finally noticed what Jasmine was holding. "Everything, myself included, is yours... Concern yourself not with my guilty pleasures, it won't happen again."
Rhine turned, and walked out of the room. "Vicky mentioned she just bought groceries. I'll go cook some lunch."

"Oh," Jasmine tilts her head, "I suppose there's a lot of space for just you guys at your hou- old house, so you wouldn't always be around everyone. And I'd love to meet both Tinker and Cassara."
She nods solemnly, though smiling, to indicate that she's listening to him as he continues. Her eyes roll on his behalf when he says his mother can't understand that the violin isn't his thing, able to believe parents can be like that..
"What!" she starts when Rhine says Cassara used his body to kiss a boy, then starts to laugh, "She kissed someone in your body? A boy?" Jasmine stops laughing, not noticing the pause, but not guessing anything about the kiss- just finding it something funny. It sounds like something a sister might do with a siblings body..
"Me too," she agrees with the 'closer than mirrors' comment, "It's not easy when you can contact me, but I can't contact you. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully here."
She holds out her arms to recieve Rhine when he walks over to her, and she holds onto his sides even when he reaches into his pocket and sets a small box beside her. She eyes the box curiously, settling the diary and lock box into one arm so she can pick up the box and take a look.
And once she gets it open her mouth falls open, "Rhine.."
She looks up at him when he speaks again, not saying anything else, just holding the ring box in one hand and the books in the other. Then she watches him turn and leave the room. She looks down at the items in her arms. What did that last comment mean? With Rhine out of the room, she lifts of the diary and examines the covers as if it'd explain.
Oh well. Her brown eyes move back to the ring now..

In the kitchen he looked around. Almost expecting it to cook for him like he was at home, but he knew better. He decided that a couple PB&J sandwiches would be a simple but good enough lunch. This was, at the moment, the extent of his cooking skills (putting simplistic things together.)
Rhine cleaned his mess up, and dressed the table. Closed the curtains, and lit a few candles. Paper napkins nicely folded, and a couple glasses of juice. Deciding alcoholic beverages wouldn't be too good of an idea. He cut her sandwich into four slices, and his into two.
Rhine pulled out her chair, and stood behind it waiting for her arrival. Soft spoken, as the house was small. "Yes, that is my proposal..." He was figuring on the fact that she'd be wondering the purpose behind it. "If that is to much to except, count it as a promise."

Jasmine doesn't wait long in the bedroom before setting aside the lock box and book, and then going out into the kitchen after Rhine, still holding the ring box in one hand. She stands off the side, watching him as he sets the table, biting back a laugh at the sandwiches and juice.
What a cute meal.
She walks over to the chair, but doesn't sit down, when he pulls it out. Instead, she looks at him while he explains the ring- then she holds out the box for him to take back.
"Very casual about it, are you?" she asks with a laugh, but once he takes the ring she turns her hand over and holds it out to him expectantly. Whatever the case may be, she is not putting the ring on her own hand. So instead, she just holds out her hand with a smile on her face.

"Casual..." Rhine laughed soflty as she handed him the box and extended her hand. He took it from the box, and put it on the proper finger.
Rhine pulled her hand to his face, he kissed it. Up her arm, on her neck, and then on her lips. "Which you want more..." He paused, and picked up a piece of her sandwich. "Me, or lunch..." He held it up to her lips.
Rhine laughed soflty. "I can promise I'm a better kisser than this sandwich is." He was being comical over a romantic situation. "Which ever tasts better I'll let you decided." He smirked.

Jasmine reangles her hand once he puts the ring on it so she can look at the ring again, but it's quickly pulled back by Rhine as he makes a trail of kisses to her lips. She gives a small laugh when he reaches the end, returning the kiss softly and then leaning back to listen to his question.
"I don't know," she murmurs, "It looks like you worked awfully hard on this meal." There's a pause when Rhine makes the bold statement about his own ability to kiss, and that of the sandwich- truly being less serious and romantic about the situation.
"Pfft, I don't knooow," she laughs, pushing him back gently.

Rhine chuckles as he's pushed back gently, and puts her sandwhich piece in his mouth only part way. He then wraps both arms around her. One hand on her back, one on her head. Pulling her close as possible to him. Then leans his head in at the same time pushing her head towards him till the sandwich meets her lips.
"Now you can have us both." He muttered through the piece of sandwhich..
