Does anyone know of any PS/PS2 games that would be completely playable on a DDR mat? I mean like... able to do pretty much anything in the game with just the arrows and A, B, etc, without running into any problems.

I used to play SC3 on my soft pad before they both stopped working.
Good times.

Soul Caliber 3 is playable on the dance mat and it's verry tiring try it we had a tournament with Soul Calibur 3 dance version

This thread looks strangely familiar... I swon this around before. Oh well.
If you have a dreamcast compatible DDR DanceStation pad, you can do a whole assortment of racing games since the back buttons are the shoulder buttons. It's really fun to try to do the boost jump while playing Hydro Thunder.

I have actually yet to play other games while using the dance pad. From the posts seen above, SC3 does seem like a very interesting game to play if played with the dance pad, though I would have agree that after a while, this method would be very wearisome to the players. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give this a try though, as well as experimenting with other games. Should be a really interesting concept, no? 3nodding

Update: Played SC2 on Metal pad, was only able to kick and block. gonk I did managed to get all the way through and beat Inferno though, so yeah, you can play it. But you might want to get a pad with the Triangle and Square buttons if you want to have much fun. Also, my pad hated me afterwards. I had to tighten 16 of the 36 screws. xp
