Well, I was thinking of maybe running a D&D campaign here. Most likely either Greyhawk, or Dragonstar, a very awesome campaign setting from Fantasy Flight Games. It's a space opera setting in which magic and high-technology have allowed for faster than light travel, and a hundred light-year wide empire with dragons at the throne.
There'd be just a few stumbling blocks to getting this off the ground.
-First, I'd have to get everyone a copy of the starfarer's handbook, as I'm on dial-up that could be truely proglematic.
-Secondly, it was a game meant for 3E, so there might have to be a little tweaking done here or there to help it flow with 3.5.
-Lastly, I'd have to find some people intrested in this. DS is a bit off the beaten path, afterall. sweatdrop

YAY! I'd play in either game. Greyhawk is one of my favorite worlds, but I like my Sci-fi RPGs too. After good experiences with Spelljammer and Magitech I think DS sounds pretty cool.
If you have a PDF (or some other format) of the book, you could upload it to megaupload.com so we can download it. That is what I do, due to my crappy dial-up connection.

Also, if you're planning on running the game here I can sticky your game threads like mine, so your campaign won't get lost among the other topics 3nodding

Ah, I'm having some computer troubles today, so it'll be tough getting the DS Starfarer's guide on Megaupload, so please bear with me, everyone. sweatdrop
Edit: I'm still struggling with megaupload, but a good friend of mine has offered to email the PDF to anyone that wants it, I'll PM his addy to those interested, be sure to send him an Email labed "Dragonstar" and he'll send it to you.

I've decided that I should add anothero ption for everyone to vote on.
Deadlands: The Weird West.
It's a mostly alternate history/horror/action game. taking place in 1877 American west. I like to liken it to The good The Bad and the Ugly Meets Army of Darkness with Wild, Wild West and a little bit of Steampunk and a nod to every type of period action peice you could think of.
I'm putting this one up because honestly, I think I can get the player's guide and Hexarcana up on Megaupload before my computer goes kaput again. sweatdrop But also because it's a rather fun game. 3nodding

I think I'll just run plain ol' Greyhawk, more people are familar with it, and it'll be a lesser hastle to get it going, aye? I think I'd allow Monster Races some, and the following books will be considered okay by me: Complete Arcane, Warrior, Adventurer and Divine, the PHB II. We'll also be using AP as described in UA, as well as the LA buy off option. The starting level will be 4. If you'd like anything not listed in the sources above, I'm negotioable within reason. 3nodding Oh well, I guess I'll have to try UA in the future, along with maybe Deadlands or some 3rd Ed Shadowrun. crying I'll start the recritment thread tomorrow probably, but in the mean time, if you've questions, I can handle them here. edit: Where you can submit the character sheets
