(Please note that this is not roleplayed in real time - meaning you can have your characters in this thread, and NOT BE ONLINE! Harr. XDD Anyhoo. Yeah... that's about it. =x I just wanted to create this so that all the Velvet Owners could meet, because we seem to keep missing each other because of different time zones.
All that put aside, have fun!)
Kanth's house was grand.
Well, actually... it wasn't really hers, as it was still her family's, but they let her stay in it for different reasons, for which she would not disclose to just anyone.
But all in all, it was as big as a mansion. It had multiple rooms as a hotel would, paper lights made in a japanese fashion, the walls decorated with white cranes, beautiful furniture assorted so that there was lots of room in the main room... but that wasn't all.
The main room was just the beginning.
There were bathrooms all over, assorted hallways you could get lost in, rooms where it was cool, rooms with arcade games, a pool room, a room with a pool... the whole place was extravagantly well-done, and seemed as if only a rich person could afford it.
"Y'know... sometimes I wish we lived in a smaller house. It seems so alone here with just us two, ya know?" Kanth murmured to her skunk, Erae.
"You're quoting Raijin again..." Erae laughed, pointing to the game he was playing, which was Final Fantasy 8. "Raijin is... right, right? Right...?" He seemed confused about the word 'right', scratching his head.
"Yes, right. I'll teach you the different meanings later. English is hard, but be glad you're not learning another language, Squall." She poked his belts, grinning, to which he sweatdropped at.
"Hey... I like my style!" Sulking for a moment after setting the controller down, he fell back to stare at the ceiling, finally deciding on sticking his tongue out at her and leaving it at that.
She laughed. "I like your style too, so don't feel THAT bad about it-" BONG. The huge clock struck one, and Kanth stared at it, studying it for a moment.
"It's past noon... you want to get something to eat? Playing videogames makes you hungry." Standing up, she ruffled Erae's hair, then went off into the kitchen.
Erae followed after having saved the game, then stopped at the doorway to the kitchen.
"I hope they're coming soon. They are? Theyyyree... Their... There...?" He blinked again, shaking his head at the confusion of the words. He needed practice, but he was still happy. Pronouncing words was fun.
With a skip and a hop, he ran into the kitchen after Kanth, laughing. "Wait for meee...!"

-Yume stopped a few feet before the stairs of the porch. She tilted her head back a bit to stare at the large building before her. She turned her head to the left a bit to look at Trea.- I wonder if this is the right place. It seems so big for Kanth.
~Trea looked to Yume with wide eyes, ears laid back a bit. Her tail curled around some of Yumes' hair. She twitched her wiskers and nodded slightly. "It's a large place, I could easily get lost. I'll just have to hold tight to Yume." With that she dug her nails in just a bit.~
-Yume smiled a bit while giving Trea a reasurring stroke on the head. She then looked forward and walked up the few stairs. Standing infront of the door, she knocked a bit lightly. Not knowing the way the door opened she took a step back and waited for an answer.-

((Well, we're not on the right continent, so let's pretend I followed you out of the shop at some point to get here...
Oh, and Anastasia's weapon is more or less a dart gun with very small darts, powered by rubber bands. I was doing doodles in my notebook the other day, and said, hey, this looks like something I could use for the velvets, so that's how she got it, out of character. wink Holds about six or seven straight pins, looks like something powered by clockwork and rubber bands, 'cause... it's powered by clockwork and rubber bands.))
*walks into the house, and makes his greetings to all present, then sets down Anastasia that she may walk about on her own, and reminds her*
Remember what we discussed, honey. No killing unless an adult says it's okay.
*nods distractedly, colors rippling across her body as she considers the new area carefully*

Walking out of the kitchen, Kanth waved them both inside as the door opened. "Make yourselves at home, Yume and Armaera!" She smiled and walked out into the living room to greet them, Erae trailing behind her. "Good Afternoon, Anastasia."
Blinking as he saw Anastasia, Erae ran over to her and grinned. "Hey! You're grown too...!" He knew she was grown, but it was different when he was grown. "Wanna play DDR with me?" He motioned towards the pad, and the game that was currently on. "... whoops, that's FF8." Walking over to it, he took the disc out and replaced it with one marked 'DDR', and then set it up for them to play.
"We could do other things while your Velvet is occupied, Armaera. There are movies you could watch, there's a pool for you to warm up in, if you wanted to swim, and a pool table... oh! And I'm making stuff for people to eat, so... feel free to do whatever you wish. EXCEPT ruining the upholstery." Giving him a sweet smile, she walked back into the kitchen to tend to the food.

(( Yay! A party! An excuse to spend some money on a new outfit. xd
Right well, I'd better rock up. ))
D looked down at the place of paper on which she had copied out the address and details of the party from the note in the store. Looking back up at the house and again checking the house number. Well, she called it a house but it was really a mansion! She couldn't believe this was where Kanth actually lived! But then again, she didn't know much about the other velvet owners or where they lived. And if you were going to throw a party for everyone you certainly needed a big place to hold it.
"Well, it's the right address." She spoke to the snake wrapped around her shoulder. "We may as well knock and find out if Kanth's here eh?"

Is there anything I can do to help, then, before I go swimming? It's been a long while since I had a nice dip in the pool...
*Anastasia hustles over after Erae, with a peculiar wood-and-gears-and-rubber-band device balanced over her shoulder, so that she can see what he's setting up.*
What's DDR? *Watches Erae change discs* Hey- is that like a computer? We've got lots of games too! We play Space Quest... Have you got Space Quest? *begins to change color with excitement* That's a fun game! 'cept I get the little guy killed a lot. But he's funny when he dies!

((Oooooookay...I've decided Moo hasta come out in public XD))
Moo seemed as confused by the house as D was. Daaaaaaaaaaaaang, it was huge! Her mind kept blaring 'Rich snob alert', but then...it occured to her that her own home was just as big, if not as new. Of course, he home wasn't exactly hers, but...Merf, why was she thinking about that? Party time! The sight of D and Sidney at the door reassure her that she was at the right place. She waved a greeting as she walked towards the house, yelling to get their attention. "Oi D, Sid! Is this the place?"
Acia had decided she really liked Moo's new haircut. She could ride around on her caretaker's shoulder, and not have to worry about getting tagled in hair anymore. Squee for mohawks! She'd have to thank Isto and Jack for it later.

D turned around just as she was about to knock, someone was calling her name. "Hey Moo, yeah I think so....." She blinked at the person. Acia was sitting on her shoulder and she recognised Moo's face and voice but her hair.... "Umm..." She wasn't sure if she should say something. Maybe Moo felt like an extreme haircut? "Good to see ya. Big place isn't it?" She finished lamely.
Sidney of cause had caught the scent of Acia and Moo before she had called out and had his head raised in attention. Yay! He was going to visit Erae and Acia was here too. Maybe there'd be more? Maybe even some he hadn't met yet? It was exciting stuff. And the house was huge! He was just itching to explore it!
He gave the glider a excited hiss, nodding his head vigorously in greeting.
"Well why are we hanging around out here when the party's in there?" D grinned, feeling more confident with the addition of the other owner and gave the door a loud knock.

-Yume stared around at the large building. It was so beautiful inside. She smiled to Ar and Anastasia, who had obviously grown. Then to Kanth and Erae who too had grown.- Wow, they look so cute.
~Trea huddled close to Yumes' neck but looked at Erae and Anastasia. They looked a little odd. She let out a small squeak moved her attention to other places.~

Eee, strange looks, strange looks. Why was D giving her strange looks?!....Oh, right. Moo laughed nervously as she reached the pair, reaching up a hand to flick her mohawk. "Umm... Long story shot, I was taking a nap, and two of my sons decided they would play a little prank." Mentally cursing Isto and Jack to the depths, she turned her attention to the house. "Huge... 'Course, I hear Kanth won the auction for a friend of hers, so...we probably should have expected something like this."
Acia replied with a happy chitter, positively beaming over at her friend. This was going to be GREAT! Sidney was here, and it was Erae's house so he'd HAVE to be here, and Nayati and Ana would probably come, and... GASP! There were more Velvets than that! And she STILL didn't know them!! ...Not to mention this was a new house and it was HUGE! ;_; This was going to be the best day of her life. Yes, yes it was.

*LP slowly walked along the road towards kanth's, still not really in a sure mood her head was held down and her hands stuffed in her pockets, the only sounds that clicked in her mind was the dull tunk of her boots as she walked and the cling of all her chains, pauses looking around, spotting the err.... house? With a soft sigh she looks it over* Damned this is a house? It's more like a masion... *she shifted uneasily on the sidewalk looking at the path to the house and everything around it.* Much to rich for my taste, it really is... *she shook her head looking at the address* well I'm at the right place, thought I went to far. *She leaned on the mailbox post staring at the house unsure if she should even knock on the door and walk into the party* they're all proably in something fancy. I'll most likely be the only one with out a velete, as always. *she shurgs* I'll just stand out here for a while. It's a nice day, I wouldn't want to ruin the party... They're all nice to me, but still it's wierd to be around all them, knowin they all have something differnet some need in life that keeps them going, and I'm just here. I'm mostlikly an annonying little pest to 'em all. *she looks around at everything around, still cussing herself.*

((Just out of curiosity, how on earth do 11-inch-tall creatures play DDR? wink Jumping a lot? If so, Anastasia's going to count herself out. She doesn't jump, though she can fall with reasonable grace.
Anastasia's bright-colored now because she's happy... I've altered her color pattern to avoid confusion. smile ))
Anastasia waved hello to Yume in response, as she half-listened to Erae explain about DDR. As a game, it didn't make much sense- the pad was so BIG, and she wasn't nearly large enough to play it without flinging herself bodily from one pad to another... that didn't seem like a very fun game.
Then, a quick motion at the top of the woman's shoulder drew Anastasia's attention, and she gaze in fascination at the odd, gerbil-shaped creature. She wondered fleetingly if it would scare as easily as those she had met before, but... considering the talking-to she had recieved before they arrived, perhaps it would not be a good idea to find out.

*as he walked down the street in which the directions said was Kanth's, he saw the house way before he reached it* Wow... Thats a nice house... *as he got closer he noticed a figure by the mailbox. He picked up the pase and started towards the person. At about a 15 foot distance he noticed it was LP.* Ah LP, nice too see you here, yet, I'm not exactly sure I wanna go in...not having a velvet and all... is that why your standin out here as well? *he gazed at her, then at the ground. It felt odd knowing he and LP were the only 2 left out of the "hype" of owning a velvet. He then looked at the sky and then sat with his back against the mailbox post and heaved a sigh*

*She shurgs softly* I suppose it is... *looking to the house* it's so big.... *musing outloud she still is trying to take it all in while undecided. She moves a strand of hair back in place as a soft gust blows by* I dunno, what do you think tenez... I mean... I'd feel like I'd be ruining the party if I just walked in with out, I mean techinally we're not offically part of the group. I've tried and failed three times... but kanth never said we couldn't come. *her eyes were the only part of her face that showed any sorrow at all.* But after all there are two of us that don't have veletes... which kinda keep us from being in the wiredo-facto if'n you understand what I'm getting at... *She sighs looking at the ground, kinda wishing that she wasn't such a 'loser' in life...

*he scratched at the back of his head* Well her note did say that everyone was invited. So its not like we are unwelcome. Its just the fact of feelings out of place. I mean being in the shop is great, but not EVERYONE is there at the same time. I just think all the owners in one place might make me feel a little uncomfortable. *he curled up his legs, so his knees were at his chest. He lazily laid his elbows on them and glanced at the house again.* She might have good food though. *he grinned up at LP* If anything, a nice cup of one of Kanth's Teas might calm us down. *he sat and pondered for a minute* Hmm *he laughed a bit* I wonder what the crowd would have said if i brought Starke. I would have had to ride him here... now that i think of it that would have been fun. But nevermind... *he again stared off into nowhere, lost in thought*
