Do you guys like game music? Some games has awesome music don't you think? Final Fantasy, Halo, Tekken, etc has a lot of great music 3nodding

a bit of a redundant question since most everyone here are members of gamespot, but worth asking nonthless.
perhaps a better question would be asking which games have better music then 'real' bands?

NiGHTS into Dreams had some awesome music. The vs. Reala battles come to mind immediately. I liked the music in Devil May Cry 3 as well.
Atually, there were a LOT of Saturn games with great music, and likewise with the Dreamcast. smile

I prefer 'normal' music... listening to music from games when I never have the time to play them anymore is kinda... pointless... stare

I have so many game songs on my iPod now, it's not even funny. Mega Man X/X2, FFVII-FFX, Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, you name it!

Game music is what I mostly listen to nowadays.
I love playing the old school Sonic the Hedgehog music on my keyboard though. I take pride in being able to do that (especially because I would go into Best Buy or any store like that, and walk over to the keyboards and begin playing Spring Yard Zone or something in hopes that someone recognizes it xd ).

Anyway, here is my list for the top 5 soundtracks. smile

- Jet Set Radio/Future

Sage Ruffin Does playing the songs on Guitar Hero constitute as listening to game music? Anyway, here is my list for the top 5 soundtracks. smile - Guilty Gear X - Soul Calibur - Jet Set Radio/Future - Sonic Adventure - Vectorman cool Thumbs up from me on that list, man. For GGX and Soul Calibur especially. 3nodding Holy orders, Awe of She, Fuuga, and Suck a Sage are my favorites from the GGX OST.

Most of the FF games have good music. Also, some of the MMX games.

I think most Square-Enix games have good music.
Some Metal Gear songs are good.
Some Capcom songs are good too.
Lets not forget Katamari Damacy!

The SF series' music tends to stand out for me, especially SFA3 and SFIII: Third Strike. 3nodding
