But you never can tell.
Like IS said the longer it takes the better the album will be.
But ,I mean with them you can never tell whats next.
We Will just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, we can seperate people with the catefory of true fans and poser fans. The poser fans usually die off their enjoyment of Green Day as song as they go silent. Consider this our chance to watch. Just like all of my friends except two. They still like Green Day, but they get mad whenever we bring them up. rolleyes Poser fans, maybe?

i have read that right now they are not sure what to write because of American Idiot and that they will take a bit till they get a new album out. I think they aren't relly even at the drawling board yet.

i hope they do come out with an album tho. i'll die if they just... quit. i heard on fuse a while back, that they didnt think they could ever make anything as good as american idiot. they shouldnt try to top it like they think they should though. i want them to go back to their older stuff. before they were so... political.
but dont shoot me please! i like their new stuff a lot too!

The new album should be out early next year. But to keep us amused while were waiting the guys should be bringing out some kind of DVD. This could either be the "American Idiot Movie" or a DVD about the making of American Idiot, I'm not sure.
I do think the guys have started the new album though becasue one Mr Mike Dirnt was quoted recently saying: "We'll erase alll the rules and go in and be productive." The piece then goes on to say that Green Day have started work on their next album and finishes with Mike saying: "Just be certain it's going to be an event."

I heard somewhere to hope for the album by spring, and also the Heart Like a Hand Grenade American Idiot Documentary I guess is coming out this yearish? Yeah. :Heart:. It's gonna be ********>

They're planning on releasing it sometime next year, and Billie is planning on making it an event. He's planning on the next CD being BIG.

ahh i cant wait till the next green day album. and if its going to be coming out during christmas or new years, its probably of next year, because they just went back into the studios. . . darn them. but i know this album has to top american idiot. i mean, it has to. or else i wont buy it. ((well, thats not true, i'll probably get my friend to buy it and burn it for me, but you get the point))

Personally, I don't think that'll happen, but if it did, I'd get it for my bluegrass-and-Bob-Dylan-loving uncle. He can't stand Green Day. He would totally hate it, but just to see the look on his face... Priceless.
