A literate InuYasha Roleplay

Not an Oxymoron



Inuyasha has received a bad name due to immature fans who can't even properly pronounce Japanese words. However this series still possesses great merit despite the idiocy of the n00bs who drown its name. The characters are simple but realistic, the story is well written and flows nicely breaking up the serious and horrific with relaxing humor. The world is intriguing, though Fuedal Japan with demons is a rather popular premise.

Rules

1.) Follow all of the Guild's rules and Guidelines.

2.) Your posts must be as Literate (third person novel style) as possible. Spelling errors and typos are of course permissible, but you should write detailed posts describing not only your character's actions, but also their thoughts, feelings, and impressions of the world around them. A good guideline is to write at least three lines a post.

3.) No godmodding, you are not all powerful, and those who think they are get the tar kicked out of them. As the Topic and Thread creator, (Not to mention the guild's Vice Captain), anything I say goes. If I say your attack can't kill someone, or someone's attack has killed you you're dead. You can always create a new character and I'm told death scenes are fun to write.

4.) All OOC comments must be marked as such.

Inutaisho is back, however none, not even the much feared Dog Demon General himself have the slightest clue who or what was behind his ressurection. He is no longer as powerful as he once was, and has no way of knowing how long he will remain in the world of the living. He is attempting to join forces with both of his sons, and is doing his best to force the issue. Now they must find whoever was responsible for this, why they have done it, and what else is afoot in fuedal Japan...

Our story begins with Inutaisho inside one of those useful shacks that appears every time there's need for it in the plot line, talking with Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru and everyone else(Kagome, Myoga, Rin, Jaken, Sango, Miroku, Shippo) is forced to wait outside. The Shack is sound-proofed, no one can enter exit or eavsedrop until Inutaisho has ended his meeting with his sons.

Original Characters are ones which you have designed yourself. I cannot stress enough though the importance of being ORIGINAL whilst designing an original character. The less cliche you are the cooler. However it is not a requirement. If you have applied properly you will likely be allowed to play your character as you will. However, exceptions will exist and if for any reason you are told your character is completely unacceptable you will have to try again. For the most part we are very leniant on the creation of Original characters, as long as you stick to the proper protocools of this thread and the surrounding guild.

A private literate only RP guild, especially for those of you who are writing your own series.

OOC: Allright Furry, you've managed to drag me into this...I'd like to play Koga.

Far out in the wilderness, almost unspoiled by human hands, Koga and his pack wandered through the trees. He sniffed the air and paused. His Lady Kagome was near! After a short internal debate he raced down the hill to find himself outside a wooden shack. Kagome and her traveling companions waited there, with a human girl and a small green youkai. "Milady Kagome, I am glad to see you are well...But why is that Insolent Puppy not out here defending you, this decrepit shelter and the road are the only signs of human habitation for miles, this area is crawling with other Youkai who will very well come after you for the shards you carry!"

Sesshomaru sat silently, his face impassive as he regarded his should-be-dead father. He did not even spare a glance for his half-breed brother. His mind was completely focused on the possible implications his Father's resurection would mean for his own titles and rank. There was a strong possibility that Sesshomaru could no longer claim to be the 'Lord of the Western Lands'. He would not fight his father for the inheritance, he was not so much a fool. He was not best pleased that Inu-Yasha had also been invited to this unusual gathering, that he himself had no prior knowledge of any attempt to raise his father from the dead greatly disturbed the demon lord, To bring back the dead... one needed the skeleton, ... Sesshomaru's eyes finally flicked to Inu-Yasha, despite the brats many faults he could not see him freely allowing anyone access to the black pearl which was his left eye....

Inuyasha was silent, not knowing quite what to say, since he had never spoken with Inutaisho before "...No clue." was all he said, averting his gaze to some spot on the wall to the left of where he sat. Though his face showed slight annoyance, he was still slightly shocked to see his father, forgeting about Sesshomaru for the while.
