ok this is my opinion, i honestly think that Garra and Naruto have the same exact past although different demons, but the one that i think is the worse one would be Sasuke's he seen his brother murder his parents and everyone around him which i think is wicked sad crying crying crying crying sry i had a moment well give a me a opinion ok?

Hmm...as much as I felt sorry for Gaara and Naruto, I'd have to agree with you. I mean I think losing your family member is sad but if your brother was the one who killed them all...Thats just horrible. crying So yep agreed. 3nodding

I don't know. Gaara's past was pretty bad too. Sasuke knew what it was like to be loved. Gaara never knew that feeling. As for Naruto, I don't know. His was sad, but it didn't seem as bad as the others for some reason. Maybe it's because he was always playing jokes and stuff. :shrug:

i'd have 2 go with naru and gaara. I mean they grew up without parents or any family 2 begin with.

Gaara had a family but no one truly cared for him.
Gaara, I'd say. Sasuke's is really sad, too, though. I agree that seeing your clan slaughtered and then witnessing your parents', that would be quite tough. And he was just a little boy, too. I don't know how old though...
Naruto... His is probably a bit after Gaara's. No one liked him, but he managed to get through it. He had Iruka and later Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. He started to make friends. Gaara never had that. It wasn't till he was quite a bit older and when he was so distant to everyone that Naruto showed up. Naruto helped him. =D He was no longer as bad as before.
Sasuke, however, still has that and still wants to kill his brother. I think I'd have to say Sasuke as well...

I'm gonna say Gaara; he's lost his parents as well and the majority of his family would happily have killed him. Sasuke lost his family, but at least they liked eachother and parted on relatively good terms stare

Whilst Naruto and Gaara really did have quite tortured pasts, simply the way they play them off on a daily basis makes me pick Sasuke for this one.
Sasuke seems to be the most troubled of the three; his top priority is to kill his brother. Other than that, he has no dreams whatsoever. Naruto on the other hand, has his dream of becoming the Hokage, and that really helps his situation, from what I can see. And plus, even though Naruto was disrespected above all of the Genin when he was in the Ninja Academy, he's proved his worth to everyone and that also drastically lightens his disposition. As for Gaara, well, he always plays it cool ( except for a few instances when he is fighting ) and that makes me think he's pretty much gotten over his past experiences too.
Sasuke on the other hand, always seems to act cool, but it's so painfully obvious that the kid has issues at times. I mean, he gets targeted by the worst of the worst, Orochimaru, and not only that, but he gets so taken over by him because Orochimaru promised him strength that he actually joins his side and betrays Konoha! In the beginning episodes, Sasuke pretty much commanded respect over everyone for being the "most promising Genin of Konoha" but slowly, once they got to know his personality, he lost that respect. And when he joined Orochimaru, people even begin to hate him; only his closest of friends remained true to him. The worst part of it all is, he's so blinded by his ambition of killing Itachi that he hurts the people he cares about, and even though he doesn't realize it, it's left a permanent scar on his friendship with them that will never go away. Once and if he finally returns to Konoha, he'll surely be treated like the criminal he is, and if he isn't treated so, it'll be a miracle.
As for his younger "happier" years with his family, well, I think the fact that he was happy with his family and used to having them around everyday makes his situation even more heartwrenching. Itachi takes everything from Sasuke. Now all he has left is his sole intention in life -- to kill his older brother and avenge the clan.
Naruto and Gaara never had parents, so they wouldn't understand the loss of them.

Why is it that everyone keeps saying that Gaara never had parents...? He never knew his mother but he knew his father. He, Kankurou, and Temari are orphans now since both parents died, but still, they knew both parents (excluding Gaara who only 'knew' his father).
Kasumi Kuroi Once and if he finally returns to Konoha, he'll surely be treated like the criminal he is, and if he isn't treated so, it'll be a miracle. That's true... Though Naruto would be forgiving no matter what. Right? He cares for Sasuke and not to mention, understands the feeling of being an outcast. That's just my view on this though. xP;

All three have really cruddy pasts. But I have to say, I have the most sympathy for Gaara. I cried when I learned about his past...

Gaara i mean >>spoiller<< Gaara parents disowned him, He's brother hates him and i believe trys to kill him. he's ungle rised him for selfish reasons. ect. ect.>>spoiller ends<< thne there's the fact that Gaara could have been like Naruto and at one point was. and Naruto could have been like Gaara.
But they did all have a bad past. Sasuke's not as bad as it look thought!! sweatdrop poor Itachi cry

Uh..dudes, Gaara got put into a friggin sand box and got locked up in it. What can be worse than that? Then the only person he ever liked tried to kill him.
All Naruto did was be left alone.....ooh, sad. And then, Sasuke got his family killed, so, I think he would be the next with the worst past. Even then, Sasuke knew what "family" was and he expirenced things such as friendship and all.
