Mount Heirishin:
Once used as a mode of execution, Mount Heirishin has forgotten it's bloody past. Due to the fact that there is no snow left atop the mountain, the whole point of using it as it's original use is gone. It is quite green, wooded, and currently home to wolves and other creatures. Genbu Village lies near it's base.

The sun drizzled through the branches of the trees covering Mount Heirishin, and the occasional bird twittered a sweet tune. A short distance away, one might hear the splashing of a small waterfall into a spring of some sort. It was an all together beautiful setting, and in the middle of it all, stood Ming-Ue. Her calm eyes scanned the area and a soft smile crossed her lips at the beauty of the area.
She closed her eyes for a moment to take in her surroundings. The sound of the waterfall caught her ears, so she headed on over. It sparkled in the sunlight, and it was possibly the clearest water she'd ever seen. Ming-Ue smiled and dropped her bag, figuring she should take a bath, no matter how cold the water may be.

Haku walked along the trail, happy to be out of the palace. He had been on a pilgrimage to Genbu Villiage when he'd "convinced" his retainers to let him out for a walk in the forest. The convincing was quite easy since he'd snuck out at dawn. He sang a merry tune, whistling for some of it as well, and just enjoyed his comfortable peasant clothes and natural surroundings. His shoulder length hair and bangs blew a bit in the breeze, when he caught the sound of a waterfall. "Oh, that should be interesting to check out," he mused to himself, going that way to investigate.

"And then, with a swing of his mighty iron fan, he shouted, 'Re-!" Before the young man, Shen Tao, could finish reading aloud, he ran face first into a tall, sturdy tree. He teetered for a moment but regained his poise quickly. "Damn tree," he muttered as he rubbed his swollen nose. The pain in his nose got worse and even made him start to tear. "Why, I ought to-!" he shouted at the tree. He drew his dao and started to hit the tree as hard as he could, yelling vulgar things at the same time. After a few good hits, he stopped, sweating and panting like crazy. Shen lifted his arm and sniffed his armpit. "Damn... All that there sweat from just hittin' a dang tree..." Shen put his doa back and checked his pack, making sure he had everything. "Wait... Am I missin' somethin'?" he said to himself. Shen gasped, finally remembering what he was missing. His normally bright green eyes paled with worry. Running his fingers through his sweaty brown hair, he looked around. With a sigh of relief, he said "There it is!" He had spotted it near a few trees. As he approached his book, the sound of a waterfall caught his ears. Swiftly, he picked the book up and headed toward the waterfall, singing a joyful tune very loudly. Upon his arrival, he found someone already there. 'Hey, there's someone already here! Yay! Someone to talk to!' He grinned to himself as he put down his weapons, pack, and took off his shirt, leaving on only his pants. "Hey there!" he greeted as he ran over to girl. He stuck out his hand, being friendly, and then introduced himself. "My name's Shen Tao!" Shen grinned again, "What's yours, cutie?"

Haku came though the bushes to see the waterfall wasn't as secluded as he originally thought. He blinked and nearly started laughing at the seen before him. A maiden had stopped to bathe it seemed, and a man with a southern accent was trying to greet her. He covered his mouth with his finely manicured hand to hide his smile. "Sorry for interrupting, I was looking for a drink. I'll come back later..." He was a very handsome and refined man, but even his carefully measured voice held mirth.

Shen didn't wait for the girl to answer since he had heard another voice. Male too, he hadn't talked to a guy for awhile because they were normally not as social as he was. Almost prancing, he went up to the man near the bushes. "Why, hey there, buddy!" Shen shouted while he approached the man. He gripped the man's hand in a handshake, he was a little less pacient with fellow guys. "My name is Shen Tao! Wow!" he exclaimed as he let go of the man's hand and brought it close to his face, examaning it. "Dang, you got girl hands. What's yer hobbies exactly? Primping yourself or somethin'?" Shen slapped the man's back playfully. "I'm just a jokin' with ya! So, I told you my name, what's yer's?"

Haku blinked and shook his hand back. "Um, I'm Haku. And I like to look my best for the ladies..." He shook the man's hand back. "Are you from the South? You have an accent from there."

"Look good for the ladies?" Shen thought over that for a moment. "What kinda girl want's a man with hands probably more well cared for then her own? All girls want a manly man!" Shen then struck a pose where he flexed his muscles. "Ah, but whatever floats yer boat, Haku!" He, again, playfully slapped Haku's back. Shen thought about Haku's second question. "Well, to tell ya the truth, I don't really know where I'm from. I'm guessin' I'm from here, Hokkan, since I have a celestial mark on my back." He turned around and pointed to the middle of his back, showing his symbol. After a few seconds, he turned to face Haku again. "See? I'm pretty sure I'm from Hokkan. But about me talkin' all southern, I... I'm tryin' to be just like my hero! He was so strong and powerful! He had a southern accent so that's why I talk southern."

Haku laughed a bit and smiled even wider when he saw the mark. But the Prince decided to humor the strange character. "You're hero you say? Who is that? Certainly not someone else from Hokkan if he has a northern accent." He was interested, though the man was quite funny, he was more interested on a professional level.

Seeing the man smile made him a bit happy. "Yeah, he's my idol! Here!" Shen pulled his book, the same one that he dropped, out of his pack. It was bound in fine, brown leather and had a beautifully painted phoniex border. "Sorry, Haku, but I can't let you touch this, it's my most precious possesion. It's about a warrior from the south. I've had this book since I was eight, I've read it many upon many times, yet, I can't get enough of it!"

"Really? I'm curious, can you tell me more about him?" Haku loved history, he had many books on the Genbu warriors, but he hadn't been able to get his hands on any books about other warriors. Other then the star names, he knew nothing about the Warriors of Suzaku, Byakko and Seiryuu. And by the description and the cover of the book, he figured that this man's hero was indeed a Suzaku Warrior.

Shen grinned, as he always did whenever his hero was talked about. "He was a Celestial Warrior of Suzaku. My hero, Kou Shunu "Genro", or Tasuki if ya wanna call him by his Warrior name. Tasuki was a Warrior serving Miaka, the former Priestess of Suzaku. Tasuki was a rough-talkin' thief, but was extremely loyal! His weapon was an iron fan, and he could preform fire spells with it! That, though, is something I can't do." His expression sadden, but he regained his cheerful disposition. "Well, I guess I can't be exactly like him, but my main goal is to be as great as he was! He was so great that someone even wrote this book on his adventures! I wanna be so great that someone will write about me!"

"So you are a Celestial Warrior of Genbu, what are your powers?" The Prince smiled a bit, "I'm not exactly a warrior, but I have to protect the priestess and the country too. I'm glad to finally get a chance to meet a warrior. I am quite knowledgable about the Genbu Seven, but I don't know anything about the Warriors for the other gods. This is quite exciting." He tilted his head and on the left side of his neck was a black mark in the shape of Genbu. It always came up when he was excited or agitated.

Shen looked at the mark on Haku's neck. "Hey... If yer not a Warrior, then why do you feel as though you must protect her eminence?" Shen put away his book. "Well, I'm the Celestial Warrior Umiyame!" He struck a pose. "I do have some powers that came with bein' a Warrior. My two are controlling people like puppets and moving the earth. Though I can barely use them, it takes too much of my strength, so I've never really tried to hone them, but what I am honin' is my archery and dao skills!" He drew his dao and bow. "I'm still learnin', but I think that I got my dao skills down pretty darn good. My archery does need work, though."

Haku laughed, "I'm the Prince of Genbu, I have powers too, though I'm not entirely sure what my role is. You seems to have very powerful powers Umiyame, I can see how they would tire you out. I can blast bolts of my life force out as a weapon, and put a barrier up to protect myself and other's with me. I'm also quite good with a sword."
