VR, you ask? Voice Recording. Think of it as a podcast with a different name.
Here's what I'm thinking: I plan to have an official guild VR that you guys can listen to. In it will be stuff about the guild in general, maybe some stuff on the specific topics we cover in our threads, and any requests you guys make (songs to play, questions to ask, anything else). The guild VR will just be this side activity just for your enjoyment.
The question is in the poll. Second question is this: if you answered yes, how long should the VR be? A couple of minutes? 8 minutes? How big should the filesize be? 4 MB? 8 MB?
Oh, and it shouldn't be just me making VRs. If you have microphones, you can do this as well. We could make a collection of guild VRs.
Feel free to post any thoughts and comments you may have.

I've liked the idea since the beginning. I'd say keep the length of it about the same as the other VRs you've made, well that is if you have enough requests and things to talk about. The size doesn't bother me, so it's however large you want to make it and it's perfectly fine with me. ^-^
I don't have a microphone right now but maybe if I get one soon I could always do something.

Alright, sounds good.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I usually make my VRs during the night, when my parents are sleeping. The thing is that it's summertime now, so my dad sleeps on the floor outside in the living room...where the computers are.
I might need to nudge other people, like Ocean, to make VRs. Well, hat is, if she gets her microphone.

Yes, yes, when I get my microphone I will. I'll have to get over the fear of talking to a big group of people though. Or infront of them.

I still have a fear of screwing up. But really, you get over it easily. Once you're into the VR, you loosen up and forget about that.
I read somewhere (on WebMD, methinks) that people that are nervous in making presentations either become nervous only for the beginning and then loosen up later or remain nervous throughout the entire presentation.

Who cares if you screw up? Me on a mic is actually rather entertaining I hear because I apparantly have the voice of a five year old. neutral It's going to haunt me 'til I die.

In school, I remain nervous throughout the whole presentation. I stutter, my heart races, and my hands shake. When I'm done with the presentation, it usually takes me five to ten minutes to calm down.
Ah well. I don't think it'll be that bad with the VRs.

No...I'm not...It just kind of comes out as a habit. I hope it won't show itself when I'm making the VRs.

Well, you go worry about that when you get your microphone. But for now, just sit back and relax and let everyone else do the VRs.

Leiko has a problem with getting nervous in front of a group as well. ._.
I have a problem with coming off as arrogant when I talk, so I don't think I'd be good at making any VRs. >_>

Okay, let's see. I plan for the format of the VR to be like this:
Introduction ("Hi! I'm Xumbra, from the IIPG, and you're listening to the official guild voice recording!")
Announcements ("Before I do this thing, I'd like to announce that we have an IRC channel for the guild!")
Main stuff: opinions on specific threads
Requests: answering questions, playing music, etc.
Ending song and farewell (until next time) I am running out of ideas for the main stuff. Opinions on specific threads. I could do that for awhile...we'll see how it works out.

No I don't. I can always see if my mom has one. I think she does anyway.
That seems like a pretty good layout for it. This is only the first time, as it continues I'm sure that there will be more options open as more people get involved with it. I guess at first it maybe can be simple or whatnot and add more as you go along maybe?
