Easter doesn't really mean anything to me because I don't believe in Jesus. However, my family is Roman Catholic so I celebrate it with them anyway because I know it means alot to them.

Ditto to what hardrocker said.
I don't really believe in it, but I don't mind celebrating it with my Catholic family because I know that it does mean alot to them. Especially my mom who gets all choked up on good friday mass because that's when Jesus supposedly died.

Easter means not a whole lot to me. My mom gives me, my dad and my dog (o_O) easter baskets full of candy, we eat hard boiled eggs, and that's it. Ostara is the holiday I go for, though it's not a real big celebration for me. None of my holidays are, since I don't yet have anyone to celebrate with.

A Murder of Angels Easter means not a whole lot to me. My mom gives me, my dad and my dog (o_O) easter baskets full of candy, we eat hard boiled eggs, and that's it. Ostara is the holiday I go for, though it's not a real big celebration for me. None of my holidays are, since I don't yet have anyone to celebrate with.
I like to celebrate any holiday, regardless of whether I believe in it or not. I guess I just like to have any excuse to party a bit and have fun.

WOOHOO!!! 21 parties PLUS Christian parties! Erm...holidays..yes..21 holidays plus christian holidays... ninja Holidays which I hold to be very..solom and ...oh forget it, I can't finish that with a straight face. Just break out the vodka. xd xp

All christians can beat that if you mean the celebration of the love of their god, they then celebrate 52 times a yr, at least (if they are the good christians who go to church at least once a week.)

That's EXACTLY what I meant. xd And yeah, I guess that could be true, speaking of Sunday Mass... but I meant more like actual holidays. Days that are more special than "you will pray on this day every week". I guess looking at it that way, you can exclude the 13 esbats that I was counting. That puts me down to 8. I'm still doing pretty good. ^__^

easter to me means that life trumps death and love trumps hate.
it is a shocking comical happy ending to a tale of tragedy and gritty realism.
it says that money and power and the way-things-are is not finally in control.
