So, what would you say is your all time favorite romance story that you've ever read, watched, etc.

My favorite published work is Pride and Prejudice, but another one of my favorite romance stories is a beautifully written fanfiction which almost outranks Pride and Prejudice as my favorite.

You see know why I am called 'Captain Fanfiction'.

I am afraid that I am a book whore. Not picky. Even the slightest romantic suggestion turns e to mush. Thank god most movies and books have a romance aspect.

Howl's Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones. Sophie and Howl's romance is so sweet...I even loved the movie as done by Hayao Miyazaki.

Actually, I really didn't like 'The Castle in the Sky'.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!!! Yep, that is the best romance book in my opinion. And it's not a modern novel (recently published book) either which makes it all the better biggrin

I love Miyazaki. I liked Castle in the Sky, better than Princess Mononoke which a lot of people tend to like more.

If We Kiss by Rachel Vail is really good.
True Meaning of Cleavage, Head Games, and Crunch Time by Mariah Fredericks are not specifically romances but do contain that element (btw, they're three separate novels).
I can't think of anything else and I know I read a lot of romances... or maybe I just read a lot of Meg Cabot and it just seems like I read a lot of romance... hmmmm lol

Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie. Min and Cal are so wrong for eachother, they're the perfect couple. xD

I think if that was the only book left on Earth, I could die happy. (:

That's a really, really hard question...Usually I could never pick which is the best that I've read or anything...But fanfictions are like my thing too! They're just like storybooks that are not that quite edited... sweatdrop

My friend is a huuuuge fan of Pride and Predjudice. She's read it millions of times and is still not sick of it. I've only managed to watch the movie and read a simplified version of it -0-;; she would keep on bugging me until I read the full version, which might be like... never xD because I'm not such a huge fan of historical romance.

Best romance ever for me would be A Walk to Remember. That's my favourite all time movie, starring Mandy Moore and Shane West. If you haven't seen it, go rent it out and have a good cry over it!

Hey, Kitsune Hanyou, could you send me a link to that fanfic? I'm in desperate need of a romance fix. (I really need a boyfriend)
