The Plot

The setting is a village named Hirotimina. The village consists of a marketplace, a sword shop, an archery shop, an inn/tavern, a training arena, houses, and a large guild. The training area is divided into two sections. One section is for melee combat, and the other is for long range fighting. The melee area has many dummies, while archers have targets to shoot at. The entire village is sourrounded by fields, which are surrounded by a forest.the outer fringes of the forest is sourrounded by a wall, where the only entrances are guarded 24/7. There are four entrances, one on the east west, north and south sides of the wall.

This rp is in the past, so no guns. All characters are human.

Character Background story: She was abandoned and found by a great fighter. Kira is skilled in the art of sword fighting and in archery. She also uses a chained scythe.

Character Background story: Aleka was the duaghter of a woodsman, living beyond the walls of the town, inside the forest. Her father taught her to live among the trees and to understand nature (she's a very good tracker) When her parents grew too old to work, they moved into the town where they lived peacefully. Aleka never liked the town and prefers to live in the forest but stays to take care of her parents. She's quiet and reserved, but kind and gentle. She's untrusting of humans but will often offer help to those who need it.

Character Description: A 19-year old young, but talented archer. She is a medium height, about 5'5", with long, flowing hazel-brown hair which is hardly tied back. She has amazingly dazzling blue eyes and always wears a saphire gem around her neck. She usually wears flowing dresses or skirts, but always has her right arm covered.
Character Background story: Sei was a young girl when her parents were killed and since their death, she devoted her life to the revenge of her parents' killer, or possibly killers. She was trained at the archery by the masters, but keeping her past more or less a secret. She started her training at the young age of 8, and finally told the masters her true story when she was 15.

Aleka looked around at the new house. Her mother was smiling a big saucy grin, like she was just given a diamond. Her mother always wanted to live in Hirotimina. Her father looked content if nothing else. As for Aleka, she didn't like any of this. At all.

The house was a one story building with two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. There was a well outside in the yard, and the yard was huge! Two poles stood erect with a thick wire for hanging clothing to dry. It was an extremely nice house, but it wasn't right for Aleka.

The house was on the side of a wide avenue with other houses nearbye. Each one was full of children of all ages. But Aleka was different, she was raised outside the walls of Hirotimina.

A couple days passed, and Aleka and her family were fully settled. Aleka still hadn't ventured far from the yard, shy and wary of all the noisy children. 'If only there were more trees...'

Kira struggled against the two men holding her arms behind her. Thieves. "Let me go. I have nothing of importance for you!" She finally got on arm free, and whipped out her sword. Striking both of them in the neck, they crumpled to the ground.

Sei watched the people of the town unnoticed perched on top of a few crates near a shop. She wasn't particularly shy, she was just a quiet girl who loved to observe other people. She saw a black-haired girl struggling with a couple of theives. As Sei raised an arrow to help ward off one of her attackers, the girl drew out her sword and struck the two men down.

Impressive. This girl has a lot of skill, Thought Sei. She approached her.

"One strike, two men. I like your style. Hello, I'm Sei."

Kira smiled at Sei, sheathing her sword. "I'm Kira. As for my style, I trained by a master swordsman, though I'm still nowhere near as good as him." Of course you're not, you're still a child. And you can't be the best either. "Though theives aren't much of a challenge."

Sei smiled back at Kira. "To be honest, I was about to help you. I wasn't expecting you to get them both. And I'm going to have to apologize for underestimating you, I hate when people do that to me." She put away her arrow and bow.

Kira nearly laughed at Sei's words. "The trick is to hit them where they are weak, in a circular motion. Now, I sound like the Master." Why are you so worried about it? I thought you liked the Master? She looked at the theives. She'd hit them a little harder than needed. "Many people underestimate me because I seem so fragile. I'm used to it."
