Ingenious plot. Okayish script. Shouty doctor (at least he got the wallop he's been asking for =D). God bless Maureen Lipman.
Perfectly adequate, in other words, and not much beyond that.

man.. i strangly loved that episode in a bizarre way XD possibly because all the while i was thinking of a doctor who FLCL crossover for that episode.. O3o.. which i WILL draw... XD
the wire got on my nerves... FEED ME! D8 i would have just thrown the TV across the room. (id also like to add, i hope my head doesnt start demanding food)
and did anyone else notice that man at the end in the street party dancing... man i burst out laughing! so did my dad! looked like he was having a fit!
the preview for next weeks eppie intrests me... black hole... and impossibly old writing? hmmm.. HMM.... *theory'd*
wow.. quite a long post for me. im proud of myself XD

I thought this was an alright episode but it didn't really seem like much to me. It left me feeling a bit like "is that it?". The part where the doctor suddenly put together that strange machine out of random pieces of junk screamed "A-team" to me and I was half expecting a montage scene. Other than that though It was fairly good. I liked the idea of the faces being sucked off (although I could have sworn I've seen that before) and the scenery and actors were great.

I liked it. Thought it was a better than the Cybermen two-parter. Some good character performances from the supporting cast, and I felt the Doctor and Rose came off better in this story than they did last week's. Nice hair, Doctor!
Only serious quibble: I don't quite get how these blank faced people could have survived for so long without the ability to eat, drink, or breathe.
This is the 2nd time the Doctor's tried to catch a musical performance and screwed up. This time he was on the wrong side of the Atlantic, and 3 years too early! Ian Dury, and now Elvis. Who's next... the Beatles?

I'm never gunna be able to watch "Watch With Mother" ever again! I'll be hiding behind the sofa! I liked this episode but the Wire pissed me off lol "FEED ME!" even my cats aren't that annoying.

Hairy Priest Only serious quibble: I don't quite get how these blank faced people could have survived for so long without the ability to eat, drink, or breathe. They breathe through thier ears! As for eating and drinking, I'm just as lost as you are.

I thought this episode was pretty good, not great just pretty good. The wire was a good villian, a very doctor who'ish villian even if she was the most annoying alien ever. The thing with magpie reminded me a little bit of "planet of the spiders" where the spider latches on to whats-his-face and made him steal the crystal and then killed him in the end

I liked it, better than some of the previous episodes. Loved it when Rose lost her face, at least she shut up.
Can't wait for next week! Looks awesome! And the Doctor has his sexy hair back whee
