I've played a bit of it... I didn't get the chance to play much though. It's such a visually stunning game ^_^

i rented the game to see what it was all about it. i enjoyed playing the game, even though i was nowhere near completing it. it's especially fun because you can just roam around and enjoy the scenery. you don't have to bother with pesky enemies or anything, just really, really, big bosses. ^^; the music was nice too. i'll definately buy this game when the price drops to $20. it's still too pricey in my opinion. sweatdrop

This board has sort of been dead for a while, but I just barely picked up the game and played for a while last night. Figure I'd save myself the trouble of making a whole new board. wink
Visually it is stunning, although the different language thing is a little odd--it's kind of cool, though, especially with the 'gods' and how they echo and you can hear different voices taking prominence. The sound overall seems to be very nice--the music is complementary and can be enjoyed, but doesn't overpower things if you're focused on getting something done. Above all, I haven't noticed it getting redundant. Yet, at least.
I'm only about an hour into things (2 colossi), and am a little daunted by the total lack of smaller enemies so far. It's nice, but I'm used to other games where either you've cleared out the area, you're gonna get ambushed, or there's something really nasty waiting just ahead when there's no smaller enemies about.
Basically that's all I have to say for now. As said, haven't played very far into it so my opinion isn't fully formed.

I heart the game. The whole game is beautiful. The scenery... story... the drama...
It's like sometimes you just want to run across the fields.... a break from all of the colossus.... just to look at everything around you, for once...*dreamily sighs*
Eh? What? xd

I played it, I beat it, I loved it. I still do. I can't get my friend to finish it though. Loved the ending.

At first -->
"What the hell is this? Where is everyone? Did the apocalypse happen while it was loadin' or something? No music, no nada? A horse and some dude... No seriously, when does the game start.."
By middle -->
"Must.. put..down..control.. and..eat. X_X Ah! I found the next colossus! surprised "
By the end -->
"Why did it have to end?! gonk "
Yeah. Awesome game, no doubt whatsoever. But it is not for everyone, that's for sure.
Battle music+Agro+hot foreign language = masterpiece
(I named the Wanderer, Darius. xd I have the strange urge to name or rename everything and everyone)

So I'm now to six defeated, on the way to the seventh which I'm told is an electric snake. Birds=really annoying, so I can only imagine.
Random question for everyone that's completed the game: About how many hours did it take you on the first play through to complete the game? I've been told an average of 12, but that's one person that's honestly a far more avid gamer than I am.

It think I may have overestimated that time period Enfuri. I picked it up again yesterday and now I'm on number 12 in about three hours or so. I don't think it takes 12 hours. Probably closer to 8.

Which was the most annoying colossi for those who have finished? Or for those who haven't -> which is the most annoying so far?
I really hated that fire doggie one. sweatdrop Grr it kept putting me in a corner. There was no where to go and he just kept tackling me. xd

He was irritating, so was that sand snake whose eyes you had to shoot. I also didn't like the underwater snake with the electric spines.
