Erfaewen: The Leader of the Cat lovers
I'm just you average Cat/RD fanatic. I've watched the show wheneever it was one and am currently collecting the series on DVD. Once I become rich, that quest will be completed.
Amonst my friends at school I am known for breakingout into the random Cat "screech" and twirling around whenever I'm happy. I love all things having to do with Tuna and, though I'd never wear anything of Cat's, I love him to death!

Cat has been described as one of the most inventive characters on television (and rightly so). In that guise he brings light relief to the show, particularly in the first few series. Cat is a humanised feline. He cannot or will not grasp many of the human principles that surround him, such as names, and the need to help others. Work is a swear word, looks are of utmost importance, and lunch is a must. Because he is inhuman, human characteristics don't fit him, and to describe him in such terms would show Cat to be shallow, narcissistic, and stupid. Perhaps due to being shallow, or perhaps because his tastes are easily satisfied, Cat is probably the happiest of the crew of Red Dwarf. Family is nothing to Cat, although he does share Lister's interest in females, particularly of the soft and squidgy variety. All Cat ever requires is adequate napping and preening time, a shiny thing or two, and adequate materials to create endless outrageous suits, and he is happy. Conversely, a creased suit, and food deprivation devastate him. As time passed, and the series developed, Cat developed more human traits, rendering him able to function on board Red Dwarf and Starbug as a crew member, and leaving him at an advantage in that his instincts are stronger. Still self adulating, he harbours a none too secret hate for Rimmer, and merely puts up with Kryten, Lister and Holly. Whilst self interest prevails, if he likes someone enough, they may just stand a chance of being offered that ear ring he really hates.

Rex arms? Hehe. Thanks for dropping by, Keldan! It was getting rather lonely in here. sweatdrop I would totally be in the Rimmer fan thread, because, see I plan on marrying him someday. But I Cat's my buddy, you see. he he he. Yeah, whenever I get a good grade on a test or they have what I like for lunch or dinner, out comes the squeal! At first my friends were alarmed (my family was never alarmed, since I've made random weird noises since birth) but now they hardly notice it. Or they roll they're eyes and smile saying "Oh, there she goes again!" I do the complete turn but I only do the T. rex arms on extremely happy occasions. wink

Hehe. I suppose the T. Rex arms are a bit strange... even more so than the squeal. xd Better to save them for really special occasions, yeah. Hehehe.

A massive chick fight breaks hot and Rimmer starts grinning. "Ah, why couldn't this have happened while Lister was here? Calm down girls. I'll have all of you if I want, now that I'm senior officer!" Anway sweatdrop . . . I get too many stares with the arms. So I just stick to the squeals!

Hehehe, fighting over Rimmer, it'll definately happen. How can you resist that--hey wait this is the Cat fan thread. And since next to Rimmer my favourite character is Cat I want to be a fan. If it's allowed to be in several fan threads?
