Hello, my name is Keldan, and I'm... I'm addicted to Rimmer! gonk
[insert chorus of, "HI, KELDAN!" from the unseen Rimmer Support Group (RSG) here]
Teehee. Anyway. I'm Keldan. Jewel has been kind enough (and also had few enough volunteers, unfortunately) to name me head of the official Rimmer fans thread, an honor I shall see through to the fullest possible amount of fun and/or interesting... erm, stuff. Yes. Here's a little bit about me:
I own my own guild, the Artisans' Guild (link is in signature, thank you for paying attention to this shameless plug), but I do love my Rimsie, so here I am! Aren't you all glad? I'm sixteen, have an affinity for computers, books, and computer games, have a tendency to fall for most sarcastic and, at surface value, unlikable characters like Rimmer, and almost anyone else who's snarky (unless they just annoy me. Which may happen from time to time). For instance: I like Edwin Odesseiron, Red Wisard extraordinaire, in Baldur's Gate I and II, but not Ajantis the self-righteous paladin or Anomen, that sexist pigdog paladin-in-training. mrgreen For a more easily understandable analogy for those of you who haven't played Baldur's Gate, I LIKE Arnold Rimmer, but find Ace Rimmer somewhat annoying. Granted, I don't HATE Ace, but he does tend to be just a liiiiitle too well-adjusted.
I also draw, paint, make banners, write, and do almost anything else artistic, because being artistic is fun. And of course, I love satire, parody, and anything else along those lines. I love the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett, and I'd recommend them to all of you, especially if you like a show like Red Dwarf.

Other than that, be respectful of everyone's opinions, have a certain fondness for Rimmer, and have fun.

Jewel: Well, I don't like to play favorites, but... you ARE the captain of the guild and all that. So I suppose I could pull some strings with, erm, you. xd Of course you can join. I'll add you two to the list once I get to my own computer and get to organize things better. 3nodding

Well, seeing as I'm guild captain, people need to come to me to get strings pulled anyway, so, in saying that... *pulls own string* Sorted... lol! *bangs head on wall* I spent the whole of yesterday watching series 5 of Red Dwarf... needless to say, it sent me a little haywire... I swear, my family hasn't been smegged at so much for years! I think I beat my own personal record; I called my younger brother a smeghead no less that 23 times yesterday!!! I'll just call you that from now on... 3nodding [Rimmer]Marvellous! biggrin [/Rimmer] I've never heard anyone spell it with "zee" before! I'm not sure which is the "official" way to spell it XD And another question...do you prefer soft-light or hard-light Rimmer? I say soft-light all the way biggrin So much more angsty potential!! ^_^ I always thought hard-light sorta defeated the purpose of him being a hologram character in the first place razz But I guess that's just me XD
