I say, we shouldn't have been able to play as an Elite at all. I think it totally made Halo2 suck, I mean think about, your always an alien, killing other aliens. wouldn't it have been more real if you fought humans? I think the biggest downfall in H2 Campaign is the Aribiter.

meh, I just thought the campaigns with aliens sucked. No one wants to be the arbiter...it's obvious master chief is preferred. Well, the game wasn't that bad, it just got kinda bland at times. Though in the end, elites are my favourite out of each species in the whole covenant group.

In the capaign mode, the arbiter could not have faced the humans.
This is so for many reasons.
First of all, the humans are way to easy to kill, and that is the only unit used by earth, except of course the master chief. If you actually fought Mr. MC, and killed him, that would have ruined the entire storyline because basically, he is the only one who can save earth.

That is true...
although there were still more human levels anyway....

I thought that it totally screwed up the game. I mean, it was the best when we were humens, but when ur aliens, its barley any fun. Man, it sucks.

Not only do I not like the covenant... but the levels that you played as the covenant during... I just didn't like... even if I were master chief

in my opinion, the elites are cool, not that i would be one.
and if everyone was a Spartan i think it would make the game a little plain
EDIT: i hope they dont put him in Halo3 Campain

Everybody has there opinions... but still...
I... don't... like... the arbiter...
and even though he is the warrior of the covenant, he has less advanced cloaking systems than everyone esle (even the grunts)

lol i know that like No one likes the arbiter and i dont really either but i do like covenant elites better for the actual game in multiplayer for 2 reasons alone 1 the coloring is way better 2 they're harder to snipe do to their neck strectching out (from side position)

that... could work...
like you cna have an option whether r not to play as him... but if you do, you can see some kind of special cutscene or something
