There is so much to say about this episode. Let me just list them so I can get it out of my system.

-House using the robot on Cameron. Can we say "squee"? heart
-Wilson getting punched. nuuuuuu!
-House practically finding himself with the help of the shooter in his dream.
-House's decision after he woke up in the end.
-THE DAMN CLIFFHANGER. UGH

My mind is in a little overload right now, but damn this was a good episode. What're your favorite parts? Did you enjoy the episode? CAN YOU WAIT UNTIL FALL FOR THE NEW SEASON? -dies-

Good thing they're playing it all summer though.

Honestly, I had a feeling the whole thing was a dream like state. 'Cause every time he was out of bed, I wondered how he ditched the cuffs. sweatdrop

It wasn't 'til he dragged the bed across the room that I knew for sure...but I was pretty sure of it to start with...

Mm. Robot squee. : D

But I hate HouseCameron. D:<

I'm not sure if I really liked this episode, though.

I figured out that it was all a dream after House talked to the man's "wife."

Because I thought that it was a hallucination.

But he ripped his stitches in "real life."

I suck at explaining things. D:

But I'm very happy that it seems like Cuddy's been in these past few episodes more. :]

*joins the Robot Hotness squeeing, despite her complete lack of House/Cameron 'shipping*

...I kind of got what was going on. Still made Mom and me go "Huh?!" at the end, though. I had to read through a few other fans' responses before I understood more, and figured out that lots of other people were just as confused as I was. sweatdrop

And then I watched the "Lost" season finale. ******** for everybody! D:

I hate House/Cameron. But the robot thing was great. Since it all happened in House's mind, we know what he thinks of her.

She's a toy to him.

You'd want House to see Wilson as his toy?

First off, House wasn't finding himself with the help of his shooter, as the shooter during the entire episode was a figment of his imagination. So, in fact, House was finding himself with the help of... himself.

And, as far as that whole House feeling guilty and shooting himself theory goes, it could be possible but I don't really believe it. (Watch it turn out true now. Feh.) I mean, I don't see House as the "guilty suicidal" type. He'd make as many excuses possible to get himself out of the blame and, seeing how the "shooter" guy wasn't in his head while he was thinking of shooting himself, he would've succeeded in talking himself out of it. Besides, as far as I see it, House wasn't at fault at all for the guy's wife's death. He was a doctor, exploring all the possibilities, and the fact of the matter was that it was possible that the diagnosis could've involved some sort of STD. The husband was entirely at fault for that one.

Still on that note, how would House've known that the lady killed herself? Or even that she was one of his patients? I mean, House didn't even recognise the husband, who we all know he had to have stared at and studied (as is the House way) while interrogating him during his wife's diagnosis, when he shot him - how could he, at any point, recognise him or her from the news or newspaper or anything like that, draw the conclusion that it was his fault, then think about that conclusion and battle it enough for House to finally turn a gun on himself, who he obviously holds much higher than any other human? I mean, I love House to death, but the fact of the matter is he likes himself too much to want to die.

That's the most sense I've heard all day. *nod nod*

Housism
I was browsing through the House forums on fox.com and someone's theory of the episode states
Quote:
House shot himself at home after learning the news that the "so called" shooters wife killed herself. I noticed that during his hallucinations he knew exactly what the woman looked like.

Also, she made a reference to House about "always being faithful" during the scene where he hallucinated she was the tongue victim?s wife. This leads me to believe that House felt so Guilty about poking fun at the "shooter and her being a match" (I think he used the swollen tongue victim to get that point across) and the pain he was suffering physically, the emotional trauma of learning that he was the cause of a woman?s death (By telling her that her husband cheated on her) caused him to shoot himself. Too much reference was made about how she felt about being faithful only leads me too believe the point was made on purpose.

I don?t think the husband was involved in the shooting.

It makes sense to a certain degree. Thoughts?

one problem...
how the hell could House shoot himself in both the lower chest & neck?! If he was indeed going for the 'suicidal shot' then he woulda put it in his mouth or ear. Do you see what i'm saying?! No-one has that bad-der shot especially when it counts as suicide. Other than that little glitch, it seems pretty logical.

O_o.... this theory confuses meh!!!
I thought it was a "dream or figment" when he was shot because his brain is still conscience....
(Because I know that happens to people when they faint or passout... it's happened to meh before... )
this whole period of events happening was all an halliculnation in his head of what would happen if he went though with this procedure to fix his paraylzation in his leg.... well.... when he learned what would happen...
He woke up and told them not to do the procedure... riiiittteee??? O_O
Or am I just not getting it???
