Whee! Hey all ^^ I'm new here, but I've heard Ryanna say many nice things about this guild so after lurking a bit vicariously through her, I decided to join myself ^^
Anyways... I'm a rather busy person who really tries to focus on commisions, as they are my main source of income on Gaia. This does not mean that I am beyond doing a couple of freebies. It just means not a lot of thought and effort will be put in these freebies... (hey, they're free! And for sketches, they're not all that bad ^^; )

Oct. 3, 2006: *sigh* Finished another freebie, and am halfway done with a thinga for Ryry... which has nothing to do with this thread >_> On a different note, I linked to all the people I've recieved art from, and trust me, that was not an easy job x___x Many of the people I commisioned in real life I never got contact info from, so finding their website was incredibly hard x___x The hardest being Cathy. After a bit of searching, I found DietRae, and she was sitting with Cathy (who I commisioned first). After much pouring through Rae's DA account, and a couple of searches, I was able to eventually find an external link to someone who looked like she was friends with Rae and had a similar style to the piece I had commisioned. After browsing THAT site, I determined that it's probably the right chic. (Similar style, PLUS she has entries for Anime Detour. Pretty safe bet if you ask me.) It's really late now and I'm gonna go to bed x___x
Oct. 2, 2006: Ok! I have finally finished updating the front page ^^ In addition to adding this update section, I added an FAQ, updated my art samples, uploaded my past freebies (not including stuff I've given to friends and random people ^^) and uploaded and displayed all the art I've recieved and bought in the past, including some really cool commisions that I got from people who are not on Gaia ^^ I still have to look up a coupld of the names... and I'll be sure to link to these people's profiles or shops ^^ Not tonight though, I'm done with messing with the front, I'm gonna doodle now! *paddles off*
Sept. 30, 2006: I have officially revived this thread, and with the revival have come a few changes. I'm going to be revising the front of this very soon here, most likely tonight ^^ For anyone who wants to know in advance. the biggest changes are that I'm no longer offering CG art. At all. Not even in my shop. CG is now available only if I decide to do an auction. I'm also more inclined to do chibis, although it doesn't matter too much to me in the end. I'll be updateing my samples to match with these ideas.

Teh Rules
I love to draw and I love to doodle randomly. Sometimes. Other times I'm tired and don't feel like it. And since these are all free, I reserve the right to say no, at any time, for any reason. As mean as it may sound, I will not and can not do art for everyone who will ask. I'll try my damndest, but I probably won't succeed. If you really inspire me with a cool avi or an interesting idea, I'm much more likely to do your thing, and quickly ^^;
So the rules are simple:
1 Be nice to me (and others), I don't like meanies
2 Be patient. I'm busy and lazy and I take a long time to finish things sometimes
3 I reserve the right to refuse to draw art for anyone, for any reason, at any time. Like I said, I'm a lazy b***h
4 I know this has been said before, but DON'T STEAL MY ART! it makes me anger so.....

I really want some art from you.... What do I have to do to get it? You could just ask.... Although if you really desperatly want art from me, I'm easily bribable. I love getting art (especially of Maiko and Dagny) and I also love getting presents ^^ *hinthint*
I asked for art and haven't gotten any from you yet! Yeah yeah.... first of all, I reserve the right to refuse to draw anyone, for any reason, at any time. The only way you can force me to draw art for you is if I promised an art trade.
I saw that you do CG work... How can I get some of that? CG art takes incredible amounts of time for me to finish, so I've started reserving it only for art auctions... And real monies commisions.... and maybe an art trade with a totally cool super awesome artist who I would seriously pay to make me art. You can always check the announcements or my sig to see if I have any auctions going~
Do you do any other medium? Not really... I usually do CG, ballpoint pen, or pencil. I may expirament with other stuff too, but don't count on it.
In the recieved art section, you mention that you bought art at something called Otakon and Anime Detour.... What's that? Otakon and Anime Detour are two anime conventions that I try to make a point to go to every year ^^ Many of you have probably heard of Otakon, it's on Baltimore, MD every year about late September or early August. As for Anime Detour, that's a local con for me. It's in Bloomington, MN every year in late March.

Draw me?
I would LOVE to be drawn as well ^^ After all, that's the real reason I joined this guild, right?
If you'd like to draw my avatar for me, here are some of the outfits I like best ^^
Of course, you can always draw whatever I happen to be wearing. I'm also usually open to new outfits, if you wish so much as to play around with my style ^^;
Items I always wear: Emo Glasses, Silver Promise Ring, Fox Tail, Fox Ears, Gills, Mini Nitemare Wings
Items I usually like to wear: Family Jewels Onyx, Leather Collar with Cross, Dark Halo
Sometimes I wear a coco or two. They represent my two cats, Megumi (often times called Meg) and Terra. More pictures of them: x x x (in case you couldn't tell from the first two pics, Meg is the grey one and Terra is the brown one ^^)
And just cause someone has asked in the past, my avi's eyes are grey ^^;

My Original Characters
Wanna make me even happier? I love love LOVE fanart of my original characters! There isn't much that makes me happier than recieving an adorable drawing of Maiko and Dagny ^^
Fallen Angels
Fallen Angels is the working name for a comic that I've been slowly working on for years now. The fact that it hasn't been officially launched does not lessen my love for it ^^; The two main characters of the series are Maiko and Dagny.
Maiko:
Maiko is.... an interesting girl. First off, she's a cat. Siamese (kinda lilac-y, but darker) with tuft ears. She had a very traumaic childhood and tends to be a rather cold and withdrawn person. She dresses always in black, occasionally with an accent color, although usually only white or maybe blue, and prefers a lolita-ish style. Always, she wears skirts. Piercings: two silver hoops high on her right ear, silver stud high and silver hoop low with a long chain connecting the two on her left ear, barbell in her navel
Dagny:
A hyperactive ferret boy, he's totally smitten with Maiko but won't admit it aloud. The true protagonist of this comic, he tries to bring Maiko out of her shell. And strangely enough, she's comfortable with him (to be quite honest, he's the first friend she's ever had) His style is more punk-goth (more towards the punk) Although he doesn't limit his color palat for clothing, I like to dress him in black with red accents. *note: that first image of him is REALLY old, and before I did the style change on him ^^;* Piercings: barbell on his left eyebrow

Nekoshi
One of my very first characters ever created, she is my baby ^^ She doesn't really have too much of a story behind her ^^; The only things that ARE known about her is that she lives in a little cottage in the woods, perhaps on the far outskirts of a small village. She is said to be a forest sprite and is the guardian of the little woods in which she resides. She is human seeming, with pale fleshy skin, her only abnormalities being her tan kitty ears and her little pink kitty nose. She also has furry feet that are paw shaped, but she rather dislikes them so is never seen without her socks. She also has a MASSIVE doll collection. She loves all dolls and plushies, especially if they're of people/characters she knows and loves. Her very favorite doll of all time is the one she is pictured with in the sample, and is a doll of this character ---> Pikaki *note: Pikaki belongs to Kat aka Ereptor, whom is one of my very favoritest friends online evah*
