The latest study shows that Early humans may have crossbreed with monkeys and and primates along those lines. I just wanna know what people think about this. Sorry about the lack of info, I just remembered reading about this somewhere and wondered what people thought of it.
Discuss: Why did they crossbreed? Your view on this? Is it wrong or is it just nature? Modern Beastianity (I don't know if that's the word for cross breeding).

-- Reserved for my rant coming up after I'm done with my rant on DevART--
Ok, my opinion would be that, if humans had done that in the earliest stages of the human race being hominids, I wouldn't be too suprised. It would explain some of the variations that some people have (being very hairy and what not). Also I'm lead to believe that the human brain was still very primative and thus the disticintion between the two species are not too surprising. Keep in mind that this was several million years BC.
My views? Quite frankly it is as simple and as natural as crossbreeding in nature (Example being say the Liger.) Though the natrual examples of this behavior is very rare, it is still existant. The circumstances that make this happen are extremely strict and limiting, thus making this phenomenon rare.
As for modern crossbreeding. Among humans I'm lead to believe that this does not occur naturally, afterall, the human brain has developed itself to the point of making extremely precise and accurate actions. Such as the current action of typing up this post.
That is all that I have about to say on this subject thus far. Thank you and good night.

I agree in a way. When the early humans mated with chimps they probably couldn't differenciate the two, so they mated with our primate pals.

Devil's right, even though having a tail would certainly make life intresting ((Especially if it was a prehanselled tail, strong enough to support human weight, like a third arm)) there is no forseeable reason for the tail on the Human anatomy in this eras day and age. We've simply evolved past the need for such tools, by developing our brains and making our own versions of things that come naturally to other animals, thats we survived, we were able to adapt to the new enviroment using our high levels of intelligence.
