*The moonlight falls on an old forest, it sits just off the main road but looks wild and overgrown. A small weathered path that looks overgrown with vegetation is barely visible in the moonlight but it is still visible.*
*The path winds up off the beaten path and meanders over to the left of the path and stops at an old dock where a dilapitated old building is boarded up and overgrown with vines and the dock itself is scarcely more than termites holding hands. A weathered old sign can be seen to read "D r e H b r I n a d Ta rn" creaks in the wind from the sea winds*
*The weathered path continues up the side of a slight incline and into a dark forest path. As it winds up the road, the sight of a large stone building, still in good repair, is there with a clearly etched sign saying "The DarkSeas Harbor Inn and Tavern" and a large set of locked doors sits defiantly atop the hill with trees leaning down to it.

*In front of the door of the stone edifice, there is a small point of green light that shows up and slowly increases in size until it expands to the size of a human. The light then begins to outline a man about 5' 10" of average build and decent stature.*
*The man fully materializes and appears, he is blond haired with spikes and has a blue and white argyle sweater that tapers down to a pair of black slacks and a pair of black boots. He is holding a spear in his hands that almost instantly dissapears and he looks up at the door to his old home.*
Well my beloved business, you have not changed much have you? I am glad to see you are still here...I wonder if the people will return if I open shop up again...
*Aykon approaches the door and blows a steady stream of air to the door which causes the dust on it to clear and reveals a strange looking keyhole. He reaches into the folds of his sweater and produces a similarly strange key and inserts it into the lock*
*There is a sudden flash of light from the keyhole and before long, every light inside the stone building lights up, years of dust fall away like they were never there and the DarkSeas Harbor Inn and Tavern returns to its previous state of glory, it was empty but at least it was able to accept customers*
*Aykon smirked and looked at the old building, he was glad that the special reality alteration he had placed on this item worked after all this time and he is very happy*
Well, lets get going then old girl!

*As she finds herself moving down through the trees a single thought floats through her mind. 'What am I doing here?' She can't quit figure out what is drawing her through the tall grass leaning over the path. She speaks aloud to no one in particular as she has become accustomed to do in her lonely travels.*
"It seems familiar, but why would I be drawn back here after so long? Did Aykon keep it open and running all these years?"
*She stops when she comes to the sign she knew would be there, letting her fingers dance idly over the letters before she continues on, not quite sure of what to expect the place she still thinks of as home to look like. 'It's been too long.' She thinks to herself 'I should have come back sooner.' She continues up the path toward the light shining in the darkness.*
*She stops once the building comes into view, shocked to see the old place standing as if it were just yesterday everyone was here and lights on throughout the building. After fully taking in the view she starts toward the building, wondering who, if anyone is still around.*
*She walks in the door and sets her bag on the floor beside her. Her hair is longer and curlier, perhaps her skin is more tanned, but that is the only thing about her appearance that has changed. She closes her eyes and cautiously reaches with her mind to sense who, if anyone is about.*

Life had been....rough...of late. At least, it had been rough by Nisso's standards. She hadn't dared go into any of the major Gaian cities in months due to...circumstances...and now she'd sensed an odd burst of magic from an area she could've sworn was deserted.
To tell the truth, she knew it hadn't always been deserted, but not even the animals had gone there often ever since Darkseas closed for good.
For good?
Maybe not. The red-haired girl crept through the woods towards the building.

It looked much the same as she thought it should, but her memories weren't very clear. In fact, she really couldn't recall too much of that period of time. She remembered meeting some people (names and faces had eroded in her mind), and she definitely recalled being shamed at least once by Ikorra. Other than that, the whole however many months was a blur.
As she stood there thinking, a vaguely familiar woman walked down the road, paused, and entered the building. That decided Nisso.
Still, the girl was very nervous as she slipped inside and looked around. At least the place was clean.
It didn't occur to her to say anything to the woman, or even to announce herself.

*At about the time that Aykon had gone into the darkseas, he realized that the first thing to take care of was cleaning of his office. It was a very difficult task to accomplish and he knew that if he were to ever be able to take care of business he would need to get some order in his life, that is one thing that Kikyo had taught him.*
*Soon after the place had returned to its former glory, Aykon had returned to his office, due to the time restoration, his office hadn't gotten any dirtier but in its state, you really couldn't tell. His papers were open on the desk with payroll and things, he had tons of letters and paperwork that had been untouched and...he looked toward the entrance to his room, even Heather's boots were still there. He knew for a fact that Heather had left a while before he was called but he wondered if the poor girl was wandering around barefoot somewhere. For a moment, he was awashed with the feelings of the past but then he suddenly snapped himself out of it as all of the images of Heather were blotted out by the face of Kikyo. He shook his head, picked up the boots and stuck them in a closet.*
*After this, he made steadily effort to completely clean up his office, he reconciled all of the books, filed all of the paperwork and made it to where his office even showed some of the bare wood that made up the floor before the entrance to his own bedroom. He paused and sighed in relief, he really had been a pig.*
*When all was said and done, he had completely cleaned out his office and even cleaned up his room, all of the facility was squeaky clean and he was pooped. It was about time to go after some water. So with that, he opened his door and then shut it behind him as his sole footsteps made heavy creaks in the floor.*
*Aykon made his way to the front area and was just about to serve himself some water when he saw two faces whom had appeared some time before he entered this room. For a moment he was cautious until he approached them even closer. One face was obvious as he had seen her hundreds of times, it was the face of his wayward assistant manager, Nikki Santes. Her hair was longer now and she looked much older, more, mature. He opened his mouth to speak but then paused as he observed the other girl further. After going through many faces and names, he finally connected the two...this was Nisso, his most hard working house maid.*
"Well! Look what the road drew in! Nikki Santes and Nisso! My goodness, may Eslered be praised! How the heck have you two been...and most importantly...what on earth brought you back here?"
*Aykon's face was now smiling profoundly as he watched the two and awaited their reply*

((T, are you using Nisso? I noticed you are still using mouse's avi, no big deal. Just let me know so I know who I am looking at!
And if you want to know the best times to be here, check out the thread called "Aykon's Office" it has my "office hours" on it and as this place develops I will change them accordingly.))

The girl's eyes widened slightly. She hadn't expected this half-familiar man to know her name. Well, her given name. 'Cause he clearly knew two names for the woman...
...but she was safe here, right? Wasn't that what memory was telling her? She lost her train of thought as the woman spoke to her.
"Um...sorry," she said, looking down at the polished floor. "I just sensed magic and came to investigate." Nisso avoided mentioning that she had vague half-memories of this place. It wouldn't do to let them know she was somewhat handicapped at this time.

Would you like something to drink too? *Aykon smiled in the way that only he could, it was a winning smile he had used to calm so many hurting people and to make even the most wayward traveler feel welcome*

I missed working for you." I missed you as well Nikki-san, I saw your life falling apart and could do nothing to help except provide you a room and ample time off. I am sorry that all of the bad things have happened to you. BUt you can understand how I was even more concerned after you were no longer here and I couldn't keep an eye on you and make sure you are still around. You are just like my family, I worry about you like my troubelsome little sister. Heh... If you are living here at least I can make sure you are safe! *Aykon takes another long sip from his drink and watches your face expectantly*

"Well, how about this. I'll pay you rent until we actually have business and until then we can talk about you hiring me. I can help out where I'm needed in the mean time."
*She chuckles and sips her water before continuing.*
"I'm sorry if I worried you while I was away. I felt I needed the time alone, and I think it did me a world of good. I always felt safest here, which I think may be a small part of what drew me back. This is really the only place that ever really felt like home. And I've... let go, let's say, of things in the past, things that caused hardships for me. I promise I'm not going anywhere this time."
