I actually think that the manga of Saiyuki is better. THe anime's good, but when people die they just disentigrate. My friends are always saying, "What the hell? Where'd they go?" when we see that. The manga actualy shows them dying, and you know when they die. Because it's all gory and stuffs. domokun Anyway, post what you guys think. (Oh yeah, and if this has already been done, sorry)

I'd have to agree and say the manga is better, I still love the anime but the manga wins in my opinion. The illustrtions are so pretty and the storyline flows nicely. ^-^

I think the manga is so much better. As The_Imiko259's friends say "What the hell?". Is it some kind of video game death?! I wanna see some blood! Also, Gojyo's poofy pants are different in the anime. They're shinier and have different pockets. But alas, Tongpu's in the anime and not in the manga.

I don't think I could choose...There both so good xd
I love the manga because of the gorey deaths and the really cute filler drawings 3nodding
But i also love the anime because their alive blaugh I also love the ADV voice actors, Greg Ayres (Goku) is amazing xd

haha really i cant deside whitch ones best really either haha ^^ i mean yes the anime is much more graphic and you can understand whats happening a lil better but yet then again the manga still shows more charactor in Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo and Hakkai whitch everyone has to admit heart LOVES THAT!! heart ya know and then on the other hand again the anime adds stuff to intertain us even more but that can also have a negative balance as well so it kinda cancels itself out....... am i even making sence anymore? hahaha ^^ o well. but to get to the point i perfur ZE MANGA over the anime for the fact that you have to love the original first to love the new teehee =^.^=

The same with Homura. THat makes me sad, Homura was awesome...

Goku makes both the anime and manga versions funny. Though I do like the anime one better.
