So I was wondering on what some peoples' opinions are as to things I'll have @ the booth in addition to hats:
1. Silent Art Auction. Like on Gaia, except people will bid real $ for a real-life comission.
2. Selling glow bracelets (and maybe necklaces/glowsticks)
3. Henna tattoos (not sure if I'll do this all weekend) with real herbal henna
Just post what you think about each. Most likely, all will happen anyway, but I want to get an opinion so I have an idea of what I may be able to expect.
Also, other suggestions are welcome/appreciated! Thanks so much

If people like art it could go well. I don't know about the glow sticks, but once the people who do late night events know you have them it could be a gold mine, I don't really know much about those so I can't give an opinion,

I think an art auction would be a great idea. I don't have much money to spend at fanime and I am hoping to use what I do have to buy art. Right now I have two pieces of original anime art and both were gifts, but I want to add to that (mini) collection.
I think the glow sticks would be a good idea, just cause they are fun, but probably wouldn't sell really well until after dark which might be inconvenient for you.
Henna tattoos are always cool!

Silent art auction would be a cool idea actualy.. just make sure to have LOTS of samples 3nodding
Glow sticks, like Emporer said, would be a gold mine late at night, but i dont think as much during the day..
Never had a henna tatoo.. and those take a long time to do, dont they? if you do this one, maybe just do it one day or something? I'd be afraid it would take up alot of time for you to do ^^;

If you do the Henna tatto you should have a friend or two at the booth to sell your other items so don't have to worry about stopping in the middle of one, or asking people to come back later. Which they most likely wouldn't.

Definitely have friends helping at the booth if you're doing henna tattoos like was suggested. Same with glowsticks (those will probably sell better than the necklaces/bracelets).
Silent Auction sound fun too :3.
And um... I'll try to think of anything else that isn't just me agreeing x_x;... *just woke up and is pretty brain dead sweatdrop *

At any given time, I should have at least 1 (if not 2) other people @ the booth. So henna isn't a problem.
Henna is only as time-consuming as the design is large/complex. Simple as that. *nods*
I will try and bring a little booklet full of drawing samples, and I will have my active sketchbook there as well. *nods*
I have the glow bracelets because I found those the cheapest. I will likely be selling them for $1 or $2 each. And they last a good 6 hours or so, so a person could conceivably buy them as early as 2pm-ish and they'd still be glowing after dark. *nods* But if I find I have the extra cash, I'll try and buy some glow sticks to sell. But they'll probably cost more, sadly.

Ahhhhh.....yeah glow stuff will DEFINITELY make you some money. I remember last year when I would have paid like $5 to get myself some glow gear @.@

Well, sadly the henna is looking a little less likely, because I am having huge trouble sifting my powdered henna for fineness, and I may not have enough for a lot of henna.
So I may just do face-painting instead. *laughs* Sadly it doesn't last as long, but it'll still be cute.
The final call will just be whatever I have @ the convention *laughs*
