I was just wondering everyones oppinion do you consider My Chemical Romance emo? personally i dont see tham as 'emo' more as real punk not simple plan and that good charlotte crap stare

Well they arn't emo, and they arn't just punk, lot's of people argue that they're pop-punk, I don't know other than they arn't emo for sure.

i think there are all of it really, seeing that they count for goth rock if aiden does, and they count for punk, but they are emo in my eyes seeing that they are close to armour for sleep and the used. but hey, thats my opinon

Their sound is quite different from everything else out there, I find it hard to categorize. I'd say it's alternative/pop/punk-ish with an "emo" flair ("emo" meaning what people call emo these days, not at all like the original genre)

Ok why isnt Aiden on there ???? Homg what has this world gone too ??? good charolette sucks (my opinion every one) Altreyu Emo, Pink spiders emo, all of em are emo ish-ept good charolette I think they just suck as xp

They are certainly not emo. I like some of their stuff, but every evidence for not being emo lies in each record they've made. Even in their list of influences.
