Please describe what type of writing you are currently working on. Excerpts are appreciated.

Well, right now I am working on a book which I hope will turn into a series of books. About a girl who gets enrolled in a sort of school for magic and ends up finding out a lot about herself... She has long silver hair and you can't cut it, even with the sharpest objects. (Except for a certain metal ninja )

Sounds good I want to read it. I'm currently working on a Fullmetal Alchemist fan-fic.

I'm working alongside a friend of mine on a potential five-part series taking place in a post-apocalyptic setting, centering around the various "freedom fighters" involved in a long-lasting war against the invading, er, "demons" I guess you could call them.

I'm working on this fantasy book about a couple of guys (one's a king, one's just a normal guy) who are trying to switch lives, pretty much (though they're not very good at it). It's sort of turning into a parody of other fantasy novels, but it's still true to itself. I'm only about a hundred pages in, but it's going pretty good.

Peace! ninja

i'm writing a book called "Ascension". it is a book expanding on themes i touched in earlier books i've made, and the protagonist even crosses paths with a character that i put in one of them.

it's basically an epic fantasy narrative poem. Or to be more precise, it is a thread of poems pieced together by the same protagonist and his travels. sometimes, though, i'm not sure if it's true poetry sweatdrop kinda more prose than poetry. just...telling a story in a not so orthodox way.

We are working on several. I think we're working on about three or four different stories together......a superhero one, one called Peace: Mystic of the purple gear (don't even ask on the title), The Dragongirl series(name subject to change), and Hiroko is sort of helping Bob with ideas on another story, but I don't know what its called....but the main character's name is Eddie so Hiroko just calls it the Eddie story.

Presently, I'm writing a fantasy book that is going to be a series and I'm going to write a poem call Puzzle Pieces about a woman who has a split personality.

I'm currently working on a short story set in the near future. The United States and Japan have become the only countries who can develop hyper-drives. An insane czar in Russia decides to try and bring back the USSR once more, first conquering Earth and then various planets one by one. Japan then decides to take over the United States and use the US scientists (along with their own) to create a large weapon capable of destroying planets...No, it will not be a Death Star, nor anything close to it. I plan to have an agent working for Russia act as an American scientist, steal the blueprints once they are finished, and bring them back to the czar. Well, that's what I'm working on. I hope it doesn't sound like another book.

Sorry, but I can't let this go. The communists actually overthrew the Czar so a Czar couldn't bring the USSR back.

I'm aware of that....I believe. Is there a chance a person could just call himself the Czar of the "new generation" and then band with a group of people to overthrow the government and call himself the leader?

I'm writing multiple books... it's finishing them that's the problem. I need someone to kick me in the butt the whole way. x.x Anywho... Two is space age in two completely different directions, one is classic fantasy, one is titled "I dunno", and two are dreams my mother had that are present time. One of my space stories I'm concerned about though. It's the only one I don't have completely planned out. They're supposed to have a bunch of small adventures along the big goal of the plot line. I want more than the three that I have. x.x I suppose I should be more worried about it when I acctually get to a writers block instead of worrying about the writers block looming over me. *sighs*

Short stories following a big goal in the future....Sounds like Warworld, but carry on.

I have never heard of Warworld... o.O My story doesn't have much war in it, though there's the threat of it... Pretty much it's about the Federation trying to "tame" a more pirated side of the galexy by puting a Federation station at all the main import points around that section. But when something goes wrong and you're far far away from another station full of people on your side, things get sticky. So ya end up making weird alliances to get everyone through the teritory alive. It's basicly about getting through the un-governed territory to the next Federation station without getting killed or worse when you are suddenly considered the bad guy. I say "you", but it's not first person. x.x Just my train of thought.

Wow....Um....That still sounds like Warworld. I lent that book to someone and they haven't returned it, so I can't re-read it to fill you in. What's interesting, however, is that it features short stories written by different authors who are following the same plot.
