It's been pretty slow here lately. sweatdrop I've been kinda busy with a new job and stuff. Anyway, just wondering if anyone's seen or bought disc 12 yet? I've been waiting until the Anime Convention this weekened in TO to pick up a copy but it seems that I won't be able to attend the con because of work. stressed

For the most part I enjoyed it. I can see why there's a second Saiyuki series. It would be wrong not to continue the series.

Back on topic. I was a bit disapointed that I didn't get to see Hakkai fight after he took his earcuffs off. vl. 11 left me hanging, and I thought I was going to see demon Hakkai. xd

You'll get to see Youkai!Hakkai in Saiyuki:Reload...if i remember correctly, it's episode 18 or 19. More likely 19. *plunders fansubs* But it's there! ^_^ Wait..it's ep 18. Critical Day. So we must be patient. I really want Reload for myself too, on DVD, if only for the Kamisama arc... heart heart heart
It's still a teaser, even in the manga. Minekura never lets us see Hakkai's full youkai form. I'm wondering if she even knows what he looks like in a full out shot, yet. But as much planning as she's had in this series overall. Ye gods...what a ride it's been, and will prove to be.

That's all that's seen in the manga as well, Xaala-san! Granted it's drop dead gorgeous the way Minekura-sensei draws it...but still.

There's a flashback that should be showing up in vol 4 of the Reload manga as well, where Hakkai sheds his limiters again. Once again no full out shot of youkai!Hakkai..just a teaser. whee

Got around to watching the dvd. Hm, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Youkai Hakkai was shown at ALL in that episode.... dang, Minekura really knows how to keep us in suspense... guess I'll need to keep analyzing that one shot in Reload...
Yay and at least I finally got some answers on Homura after all this time. I respect him so much more now as a character.
Ah well. Hurray for the conclusion! Now I'll need to get some Gunlock to satisfy my Saiyuki bloodlust.
And speaking of bloodlust... *drools over the Alucard pic on the cover of Hellsing 4* heart

Is it just me... or did the whole "beserker Xenon" confused anyone else? Just before he removed the eye patch he said something like "I'm going to abandon my Godhood"....
