Note from the Player: Please respect that this is a private RP between Secret Silence and myself. Also, this was started in thread ( here), and will be continued here because my schedule and hers do not mesh well.

Story thus far: Bezeichnung & Midnight Light are at an oasis near the evening time, he in a tree and she on a rock. As they spoke she decided to try to climg the tree to join him, but made the mistake of looking down and is now frozen in place with fear....

-----------BEGIN-----------

"You'll slip, otherwise." He spoke calmly, then settled his dark head back on his curled leg, left eye watching Midnight scaling the tree he was perched on. "Calm yourself, Vixen Midnight." The stellar's jay colored starfox rose to his feet, arching his back just a moment before making his way down the tree; his hind end first - it appeared that he bear hugged the tree and used his claws to anchor himself into the bark to stay up. Once next to Midnight, he whuffed and touched her shoulder with his nose. "It is not far, do as I do, or you will fall."

Midnight saw the male join beside her. "This is not at all proper" She muttered aloud. "I will copy what you do." she clung closer to the rock and watched very closey what he would do.

His bushy tail flicked a bit and he wiggled his ears at her comment about tree-climbing not being proper. "Good. Move like so, little vixen." It seemed that the male clawed into the bark with his forelegs and pulled up while using his powerful hindlegs to push up at the same time; the result was a hitching sort of bear-hug climbing method that would likely be made easier for her thanks to her wings. "Use your wings to help, vixen Midnight...it will be easier." Zei moved slowly up the tree so that she could keep up - and also so he could bite and grab her scruff if she started sliding.

Midnight clung to the tree. She flapped her wings and finaly slide down about 3 inchs on the trees trunk. "I'll meet you up there." She pranced off through the sand getting pretty sandy and then she burst into flight. She headed towards the tree. She glided lightly and would land on one of the leaves, not quite on a stick so she clung to the leaf as it began to rip with the weight of her and her claws.

He cocked his head to the left, blinking a bit when she slid back down the tree trunk. "As you wish, vixen Midnight." The enigmatic star fox with the blind eye made his way back up the tree trunk - it seemed he must do this alot, because he climbed gracefully and quickly; perching back upon his favored limb to watch Midnight's flight.

"Careful, little vixen--" But it was too late to speak warnings, the precarious perch she had chosen was giving out under her weight. Bezei moved quickly and caught her by the scruff, pulling the multi-hued female onto the thick limb he'd been laying on earlier. "We are light, but we are not feathers!"

Seeing she was now in the jaws of Bezei she didn't worry as much. After seeing his graceful climb up to the tree, she decided that tree climbing could be proper... But not alone, in the dark, with a male. It could be very suspicous. This is not proper at all she shook her head and looked into Bezei's blind eye. "Can you not see with that one?" She had suspected it before but now it was more clear. "Who says I am not a feather!" she declared with a small mighty laugh.

The dark-blue star fox said nothing while he had the vixen's scruff in his jaws, but once she was safely deposited onto the limb, he fluffed his tail and sat back on his haunches. "That leaf, vixen Midnight, and now myself. You are not featherweight." He turned his head a bit, automatically - his blind eye wasn't horrible looking, just milky and blank. "And no, I cannot. Only darkness and light."

"What's to fret about your eye?" She noticed how he turned away. "I do not mind, It does not scare me, and I'm intriged to know as to how it became so, if you wouldn't mind telling me..." Midnight realized where she really was and how high and she shook a little as she stared down to where she once sat. "And how did you ever manage to get used to being at such heights!?" Despite the fox having wings, she was scared of heights, She never flew more than 5 feet off the ground.

Bezei chuffed and shook himself before settling back as before; he dipped his head and groomed one of his slender legs. "Fell from a tree." He did that odd half-laughing, half chuckling thing again, head lifted up to gaze at the heavens. "I am drawn higher, endlessly higher. To return from whence I came, vixen Midnight." Oh, if he only had wings!

Midnight would not wish to be higher, but lower!! "You should grow wings..." she said to him "it's really not that hard. They'll just appear, and then we could fly together, but not too high, It's scary." She laid down feeling if she had more of her body in the tree and touching it she'd be less likely to fall. "It's not smart to fall from trees" She was more unsettled by his tale of how he hurt his eye.

Midnight might not have wanted to be higher, but Bezei did - oh, it was his most feverent wish! Flight! To be closer to the skies that called to him on a most primal level; in a manner that tugged his insides the way one would expect thoughts of a distant lover to do.

"Vixen Midnight, were it so easy to grow wings, I would have them already." But the thought was very attractive, and his slinky little mind wound around it, mulling it over as he patiently groomed his paws, watching the female star fox huddling against the tree limb.

"No, it was not smart to fall, but I was young and knew not any better." His muzzle skinned back a bit in a show of teeth that just had to be a smile. "Do not worry, little vixen, I will not let you fall."

Midnight began to take a liking to this fellow. He would take care of her, and not let her fall, he was smart... but he was still a little... weird. Like pervert weird. "Why thank you Bezei" She smiled back at him. She was tring to be as much as a lady as she could be as she clung to the brance. "Mind if I move closer to you? That way incase I do fall" Thinking about it, Midnigt knew that if she fell she could easily fly. Only her wings were not very strong, not was she very fit to fly. "Maybe somehow you can use my wings? I don't really use them... I mean They are nice, but I'm scared to use them." She spread her wings out lightly and peered though. It would actually be a lot more seductive than Midnight had wished. And if Bezei liked wings and thought in the least Midnight was pretty he would proably be awe struck it was so lovely.

It seemed that Bezei thought the same thing when she mentioned falling, but he was a gentleman enough that he didn't mention her ability to fly and keep herself from being injured in the event of a fall. "Yes, of course vixen Midnight." Bezei couldn't help that he was creepy - he spent entirely too much time in Syrie's lab to have come out normally...from the time he was a mote in his jar even up to now, he was a lab creature. Always would be.

"I could not think how that might be accomplished, little vixen." He admired her wings, a soft chrring sound rising from somewhere low in his feathery, fluffy chest; the dark star fox's good eye glittered with open admiration and yes, envy. "Lovely wings, vixen Midnight..." Oh, he found her attractive yes, and perhaps even more so with her wings and her softness - the naivete that shone through with her every action.

Midnight Smiled and Bezei. "I have a friend who may know a way. And He's not afraid of flying." She snuggled up close to Bezei clinging closely to him. "Are you sure you won't let me fall?" She even so much as wrapped her wings around him. "You wouldn't be flying. But you'd be high in the sky. It's just a matter of convincing him to do it. He's not the friendliest looking of fellows."

The male Starfox chrred a bit - the thought of being up in the air to feel the cooler atmosphere kissing his fur was one that was quite tempting... "Perhaps, little vixen....perhaps." Midnight's cuddling up against him wasn't unwelcome, and certainly it did not go unnoticed. "Of course I won't, vixen Midnight....I am not so careless with others as I am with myself." He chuckled and twisted his head so he could chuff and groom at her wings a little. "Whom do you speak of, little vixen?"
