Personality: Alania used to be as carefree as her twin brother, but with the dissappearance of her husband and son years ago, she's become a cautious, and bitter woman. Her extensive background in ancient runes has offered her several options over the years, and helped her in many a tight squeeze. She is overly protective of all her children, and is always positive that she knows what is best for them. She is never without some kind of Runes spellbook and casting stones, carried in her backpack.
History: Alania was created in a laboratory owned by Hinata, a mad scientist, for companionship. When Alania grew, she sought out a life and love of her own, and in Hinata's rage she split Alania into two beings, in an attempt to keep some remnant of her. The experiment failed horribly, and Hinata returned to rectify what she had done wrong, reuniting Alania once more to be with her then husband. The residue of what was left behind was used to make Alania's twin brother, Nio.KITTREL'S CARETAKER: Name: Emilie

History: Emilie came to this planet with her parents almost a year ago, and they built their own home secluded from the rest, dwelling in privacy. Recently, their home was invaded and destroyed by the Rade, and Emilie is the only survivor. She agreed to watch over the Rade while Alania tends to her family/business back on Gaia, in order to teach the Rade to be her defender/protector.

4/9/05 - Emilie offers her assistance in raising Kittrel.
4/20/05 - Alania leaves the Masquerade Planet to return to her family, and leaves Emilie in charge.
