You know those PC games that have crappy 2-D or pseudo 3-d graphics but are insanely fun and addictive?
For example, the Avernum RPG series. I've recently gotten addicted to these games, and I love them. Really and truly. I just beat Avernum 3 and am working on Avernum 4. The first three are remakes of the Exile series, which I have not yet had the chance to play save for just a little.
Also, I downloaded the demo version of Warlords. I can conquer all of Sulador in the 40 turns the demo gives you.
Anyone else have any awesome retro-RPGs they'd like to share?

Septerra Core. It is so cool. I got it for $10 with another cool game. Double pack. whee Target can be good for some things, lol. Its kinda picky so I haven't been able to get far. We have a old computer that its loaded on that it works pretty well with. If you can find it, I would recommend you try it.

The Monkey Island Series. The first game came out about 15 years ago, but it was still a great game despite it's 16-Bit graphics. Curently the only game in which the main charcter uses a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle as a mode of trasportation. whee

There is this one online text based game I used to play when I was 8 called L.O.R.D. or Legend of the Red Dragon...
That was 12 years ago... It was a KICK a** game.
