SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #152 "Sonic's Angels": Written by Ken Penders; Art by Jon Gray, Jim Amash and Penders. After all the trouble Sonic has had the last few issues, things just got worse! All the girls on the Freedom Fighters team are furious at the blue blunder head... just when their teamwork is needed the most! With all their squabbling, they barely have time to notice that The Eggman Empire is expanding and destroying all in its path. Can they curb the dissent long enough to prevent Dr. Robotnik's nanites from taking over the planet?
"More Than Meets the Eye": A thrilling Freedom Fighters tale featuring Tails, Rotor, Tommy and more! Things get deadly when a disagreement among the Brain Trust of the Freedom Fighters erupts. Will this latest technology bring the team new life... or a death sentence?
32 pages, $2.25, in stores on July 27. I'll comment on these later, when I've more time.

The female squabble sounds interesting. I think I'm coming in at the right time to restart the Archie series. I'm liking the new Bunnie design *even though it's not really new, it's new to me*...

I remember getting that comic, until Kmart stopped selling them. I'm too lazy to get a subscription.

I have to confess that I don't think that what we're seeing now is representative of the best of Archie by a long shot, but maybe that's just me. I already wrote a lot of my opinion on the current Archie storylines here, so feel free to take a look.

*shrug*
I didn't write those summaries, and since I only get my comics every 3 months via a standing order, I don't pay much attention to the prices.

The prices could have gone up... I've watched the prices for comic books rise over the years(much like everything else).
Aaaaaaaaanywho. I guess its worth looking into, though I haven't spent money on those comics in quite some time *^.^

Number 152 is nothing like the Preview says it is. Its kinda spooky how mouch different it actually is when you start comparing the two.
But what bugs me most?
Sonic frenching bunnie on page 28 (excluding that Bionicle story) and bunnie enjoying it.
Anybody know what the deal with that was? Im shocked myself.

I'm just about due another one, but I'd rather not comment until I've seen the story.

Im shocked myself. i disliked it too, as i thought it was 'evil' sonic who'd been going about flirting and kissing the girls. so why is sonic prime kissing her and acting like it's no big deal? it just didn't ring right. x.x; the main thing in my eyes that saved the comic was dub's art, he really does give make the pages look more alive somehow.

I don't have the issue yet, but from what I've gathered from the Dan Drazen review of #152, Bunnie is supposed to kiss Sonic and he is supposed to be surprised; but apparently the artist just gave them a full-blown "Hollywood kiss" (to paraphrase Drazen) because the artists are kind of out of the loop as far as the story goes (it seems). And apparently the cover at the top was another dummy cover... for whatever reason. *shrug* *prods ChibiBecca, wondering if this is the Becca he knows* question
