The Haven Park was once beautiful. The water was clear, the Japanese Garden always in bloom, and the sounds of birds could be heard from all directions. This has changed since the coming of the creations, the Garden now dying, the water from the fountain gone. The Haven Park was once beautiful, but that beauty is now only but a memory.

Dimitri approached Bobby, a smile on his face. "You look as if you'd be a helpful person." He reached into his pocket, and pulled out the picture. "Have you seen this person?" It showed a teenage boy with long blonde hair and grey eyes.

Dimitri frowned a little, and then slipped the picture back into his pocket. "Some information that I gained led me here. I hear his hair has darkened though. Tell me, do you know where I can find one named Erica?"

"Forde...we've been walking for hours. This armor is getting heavy."
"Maybe you should stop wearing it then." Forde replied as he walked along the edge of the ruined fountain.
"Ugh...you know that I can't do that." Kalo replied, shifting his helmet as he walked.
"Then quit bitching." Forde walked away from the fountain, and sat on a large rock. "There. We can rest."
"Ugh. Finally." Kalo said as he sat down. "Why are we in this dump anyways?

Three beings with odd skin tones approached the pair. The head of the group appeared to be a boy no older than twelve, he tilted his head and looked at Forde and Kalo, his orange eyes blinking in contemplation.
"The first would like these ones, perhaps we should take them."

"The First? Who is he?" Forde asked as he looked up at the trio.
"Don't know. Is this a job offer?" Kalo asked them with a smile.

The boy nodded, "yes, a job offer it is, an interesting one at that. Come with no fight, I hope." His orange eyes flared and a smile crept along his dark lips. The two behind him kept silent, quiet as guarding statues.

Kalo grinned as the kid spoke. "Sounds good to me. What's the pay?
"Wait." Forde said. "Why would we work for someone who sends children to do his dirty work?" He jumped from the rock and jerked his hands outward, the claws emerging from his sleeves. "Show us why we should accept."
"Makes sense." Kalo said with a grin, and leapt from the rock, breaking into a charge as Forde leapt into the air, coming down on the leader of the trio.

An orb of force surrounded the boy, and Forde bounced harmlessly off.
"You should accept, because you will come with or without choice." The orb energy disapeared, and the boy stood with a calm face. "If you need proof of our gifts, so be it." The boys hand burst into a white flame, resembling the shape of a snake prepared to strike.

Kalo barreled into the leader of the trio, turning completely into obsidian stone as Forde rolled into a recovery leap.
Forde leapt into the air yet again, this time landing in the middle of the trio. He crossed his arms over his chest, and the gems on his claws began to glow. The wind picked up, and he rose into the air. He began to spin, and a tornado began to form around him.

The first, appearing to be a woman in her mid fourties, began to crumble apart into pieces that formed into hundreds of spindly legged spiders. They all scrambled into the forming tornado. 9, 2 The second being, a teenage boy, started a soft hum, his arms glowing with a strange power. 9 3
