Way to go Carl! Gettin his first Busch and Cup win in the same weekend! I'm thinkin it's safe to say that Atlanta is his favorite track right now. xd

The 99 is gonna be one of the ones to watch this year...

Sure was nice to see him win. He's a genuine guy and to get two first career wins in one weekend has to be special. Not to mention he gets to do his special celebration twice in a row.

I wonder how much longer Roush is going to let him do that though.

I was surprised that he won...in a good way, of course. whee I didn't think he would be able to catch up to JJ like that. I was on my feet yelling at the TV at that point. xd

I needed some oxygen after that win it was so close. I believe it would rank right up there with Kevin Harvick's first win at the same track in 2001 when he edged Jeff Gordon. The amazing thing was that it was his second race after replacing the late Dale Earnheardt Sr.

Funny thing is, according to Speed Channel, no one has ever done what Carl Edwards did... win both his first Busch race and his first Cup race in the same weekend....

Carl "Mad Dog" Edwards just made himself a good piece of history. We can forever call this moment a "Carl Edwards"!

That's right! That event can be attributed to him if it ever happens again!

And Ursa, Dale Sr won the the same race in 2000 by the exact same distance over Bobby Labonte. Kevin Harvick did it in his 3rd race in the car, and, I can't exactly remember, correct me if I'm wrong, but it was in the exact same car that Dale won with the year before.
