Have any of you played Devil May Cry 3? How well do you think this game stacks up to DMC 1 & 2? Which is the best?

I've played DMC and DMC3. DMC3 is my favorite. After all i heard of DMC2 i never even touched it.
Now after playing DMC3 so much i can;t play DMC anymore becase of the control diffrences. Like jump being triangle and not being able to shoot unless your targeting.>_< damn me and not being able to adapt.

i own 1, and im going 2 go and pick up 3 since its 20 bucks now, and its special edition.

i got the special edition for the third, and i like it.

I beat 1, I'm on 2 {{I CAN'T BEAT THE STUPID MOTH BOSS THING!!!! Can I have some help with that?}} and numbers 3 and 4 look cool. I think they're making DMC 5 right now.

DISCUSS! domokun That figures, you'd use the ONLY DMC game i haven't played scream But from what i've seen, DMC III is by far the best. I can't wait for ps3 to come out, so i can play DMC IV

I can't wait to get my hands on 4. It will be interesting because i've play 3 way more then i ever play 1 so i wondering how my DMC3 skills will affect the games difficulty. Since when 3 came out i hadn't played any DMC in well over 2 years meaning my skills were almost all gone.

What I did was try to jump on it's back whenever I could, and then go on a hack-n-slash spree. When it knocks you off, shoot with those lovely guns (and if you have the shotgun, that is your BEST FRIEND in this fight.) Make sure to have some health-restoring items. They're your best friend too.
Btw, DMC4 will be coming out soon, not 5. You can't skip around with numbers.

luckily my sister bought the game so now since im visiting i can watch her play it.. i can enjoy it just as much and not have to worry about crying bloody murder 20 minutes into game play..
