It was a normal day. Muroki, the fosterling Kiago and Hisani had been hanging around the area near the Prideland border, slowly wandering further in to the Southlands. Not much had changed, save the younger male growing up some, and the elder becoming more restless. His paws itched to get going. Right now, however, he was slowly waking up in the Southland den.
He'd started dreaming of his old home whenever he closed his golden eyes. Muroki saw again, as if through young just-opened eyes, the stone sun-warmed halls were the cubs and mothers spent their time. He was carried through the lake garden to the small scared island by his mother, up to her belly in water, to pray to the gods that his father survive the illness. Heard again his uncle the king annouce the clan must go, a dark canine and a shining cheetah at his side.
The sandy male's mind wove in Hisani, who'd never been there, walking through the lower halls, crying for the sick. Put Kiago in his place, at his mother's side, always on the move, suddenly rogues...and now once again he woke up unsettled.
Muroki shivered in the makeshift den.

Kigao had grown a little bigger since he first met Muroki and Hisani, he had got plenty off food so he was still a chubby pup so he would probably do well in life...when he looked at the other lions that was walking with them he tought he was the one that looked weird with his markings compared to everyone else...
" Umm Muroki...why do i looked diffrent from some others? i meen my markings i have never seen anyone besides me and my father with such markings "
Kigao was very smart and always wounder about life and how things turned out to be and why...but he didn't always think about complex things he loved to play too like all pups...he mostley chased Muroki's tail when he was really bored or tried to find butterflies to chase when the others got tired off him..

(Cruddy Preta intro? xD )
A small, dark form was moving in about a collision route with the group. Obviously, no thread, this was a mere jackal, a female one, mind you. Her black pelt was neatly groomed, in a way that made it glimmer in the sunlight, merely white toes and two white spots, one at the back of each ear, pinkish-purple inner ear fur and hot pink eyes resisted in the dark fur.
Upon catching eye on the lions, not too long after she had started moving, she didn't veere away like many others would, but continued in the route she previously had, holding her head boldly above her shoulders, yet not in a deffying way, before pollitely yipping when in hearing range.
"Good day! "
Though, she dosen't wait to see if they look over, and tips her nose down politely, but raises it to the prior position the sligh smile she bore barely visible through her black fur.
(( Sorry if I messed up the discreption, I got a little confused with Edit's post xx;; ))

((XD Sorry. I was having fun imagining his odd dreams. ))
"Don't worry, Kiago, your markings are fine...they're not as different as you think." He got to his feet and yawned, sleepily. He smiled at the pale patterned youngster. Muroki checked the other lions were still about, that they hadn't left while he was alseep. Kiago obviously hadn't. His maned head turning this way and that.
He spotted the jackal and walked towards her, slowly with peacful body language. He'd just woken, he was not hungry, and, crucially, he was a Dawnwalker. To him, jackals were sacred.
"Good day." The tone was polite.

" ya sure they are fine? they are still worring me...hm i hope i meet other lions that has weird markings too "
Kigao smiled and blew some bangs from his eyes that hair or what it now was again had grown so long latley...maybe a mane was starting to grow on him too like Muroki that would be amasing...Muroki was his big idol these days he was always so smart and calm and great with everyone..
He stopped and looked at the weird animal that greeted them...what was that now again? he knew the name of it oh....ummm yes a jackal that must be it...he waved his tail curiously but he wited for Muroki to talk to it before he did anything..

Sorry for the dumb question, but thanks at the same time. heart ))

Large white swan-like wings caught the thermals beneath them and arched the owner high above the burning sand beneath him. With each flap he flew farther and faster before he spiraled down towards the sand and pulled up, particals flying everywhere as he landed in a flurry of sand and wind.
Athrun had finally come down from where he had spent his time on a cloud, lazing about for hundreds of years as he watched the races of human and creature bicker beneath him. Now he was ready to rebuild what time and man had once destroyed. The god wanted to make the pride that he had once loved so much real again.
It was time.
Lifting his head, the blindfolded god looked around faintly for a bit and sighed. This was going to take some work, but from what he could see there were two other lions and a jackal far off, three to be exact. One he sensed had a purpose, the other two he wasn't sure about. But Jackals had been reveared in his time, so Athrun started to trot forward curiously. ninja

"They are fine, trust me. My markings I dye on, with my mate's help sometimes, how odd is that?" He whispered, golden eyes studying the jackal still.
Not odd for a Dawnwalker, the dye, now he thought about it. He'd love to start all that up again. Lions, cheetahs, jackals and birds all dressed for court with the pharaoh in their finery, coloured according to rank. It had been a grand sight.
The fur prickled on the back of his neck and rudely - or so he supposed - he turned his head from their canine guest. Was than a god? It couldn't be the sandstorm of a god his mother had told him of?? No! Yes. Oh...
Muroki stared, heart thudding and bowed his head. He wasn't pharoh, a mortal-god, yet. And Athrun deserved his respect.

Kigao looked at his own fur then at Muroki's dye? that sounded weird but Muroki wasn't as other male lions so he could do as he wish. Kigao looked at the jackal too they where special creatures also just like lions.
The juvenile cub runed his head around when Muroki did and he looked a little surprized or confused..ah it was him Athrun so he came after all. Kigao had met Athrun before when he was playing with a grasshopper. And it was very nice seeing him again..
This pride must really be important to him too..

Athrun looked at the large and very pale lion in front of him. His veiled eyes took him in with all the cautiousness of a person born to be wary. He was after all a god.
"So then it's you." He smiled for a moment at the two of them, nodding his head at Kigao slowly and letting a smile grace his muzzle. "You're the lion reviving the Dawnwalkers?" He asked in a stony voice.
The Eye on his blindfold shimmered for a moment before the god bent his legs and bowed to the lion in front of him. Despite his not being a god, anyone that desired the same thing in life that Athrun desired so badly had to be of the same if not better godly status. ninja

"I've been trying, my lord, to revive the Dawnwalkers since cubhood." Muroki held his head up. He'd been voted pharoah, he'd been voted...but like that he looked much like his uncle, who'd been the last Dawnwalker king.
"Forgive me for not knowing your name nor your kingdom, my lord. But I think I remember you and you bear the Eye...You were one of us?"

Kigao batted with his paws on the dusty ground wagging his tail. Being a god really must feel powerful sometimes specially when others respet them so much but it must be hard too. He smiled once more and looked at Muroki again...
He would let Athrun tell that story of who he was and where he came from Kigao just loved hearing stories so he didn't mind.
