Hakan for once was not training and nor was he thinking about beating anyone up. Instead he was quite simply lounging about in the dry grasses of the prideland borders. He had that sleepy sort of expression on his face that suggested he had been busy that morning and the moisture on his fur also hinted towards the fact that it had been spent swimming.
Now with no energy and the rest of the afternoon ahead the juvenile simply wanted to sleep.
If he'd known at the time that laying here would mean meeting another lion of similar age he probably would have moved off. As it was however he had no idea and simply stretched out on the ground with his head pillowed on a rock.
In fact the Dark Warrior actually looked quite cute and harmless with that fatigued expression on his face.

Kigao did never wander far away from Muroki and his mate but now when he was a little bigger he used to go an some small adventures when things felt more safe...but he still liked being the only cub like he was when he still was with his mother...
He sniffed around in the dry high grass trying to find something fun but the onlything he found was a few bugs...they where never specially funny at all, butterflies was better but he hadn't seen one in a while now..then something flutterd by his green eyes when he was sniffing around. Oh what was that? a butterfly? finally!
The butterfly was white and simple to follow so his natrual instingts reacted and tried to catch it...but the butterfly was fast and flew away and sat down on a flower that was growing in the highgrass but what Kigao didn't see that the butterfly had landed right next to another lion..
" I got ya! "
Kigao threw himself at the butterfly and missed...the onlything he cought in his paws was a black lion tail!

The moment his paws touched Hakan's tail the juvenile was on his feet and whirling around to face his attacker. The last time he had been attacked from behind he had made a fool of himself, but not this time! This time he would not let a slither of weakness show him up.
His piercing blue eyes narrowed as he lowered his face to glare at the pale lion before him and after a moment of growling Hakan straightened and flicked his tail to curl around a hind leg.
"Ten points for the surprise attack." He growled, "but lets see how well you fight when face to face with your combatant." Obviously he had completely misread the situation but his mind always seemed to think that everyone was out to get him. "Think you can kill the Dark Warrior? Heh I think not!" He snapped, lowering his body as he took a step back to give him room to pounce.
"Tell me Runt." It seemed he had a habit of naming his opponents disrespectful names. Just as he had named Kenai 'Little Bit' he would call this other something that would belittle him in the face of a true Warrior. "What makes you think you can win?" He flexed his ebony claws into the ground and beared his fangs in a rather intimidating fashion for such a youngster.

Kigao blinked and looked rather silly oh he had surprized another lion his age and the poor guy didn't look happy at all...he backed off a little and continued to look at him...the lion infront off him was so mucht the opposite off himself dark colors and his mood didn't seem so friendly either...
The little butterfly flew away but Kigao didn't continue to follow it. He bent his head to the side and looked at the dark lion...umm what was he calling him Runt?
" Ummm...hallo i am sorry that i attacked you but i didn't really i was chasing that butterfly over there and umm i cought your tail instead "
He felt rather stupid and clumsy he looked embarrased too...he swallowed and hoped that the other male would understand..

Hakan merely growled and strengthened his stance, the muscled forearms tensing as he prepared to pounce. His blue eyes fixed upon the pale form of this lion who could quite possibly be a Pridelander. He had the pale fur and the somewhat embarrased and very non-lion expression on his face. (In Hakan's opinion anyway)
"A mistake you say?" He grumbed finally, "mistake or not I have a strong dislike of Pridelanders." He exhaled sharply through his nose, "especially ones who leave their boundaries." He remained where he was, crouched low in the grass, ignoring every other sound and sight eexcept for the lion ahead of him.
"They 'ave their 'erds to hunt, they lead their cushy lives but no, they still think that it's okay to come an' take what rightfully belongs to rogues." He hissed, eyes looking suddenly wild. "Well me an' my family have had enough!" It seemed that Hakan always jumped to these sort of conclusions. Sad really, otherwise he might have made a friend or two by now.

Kigao was rather confused this male was talking about pridelanders and didn't really seem to care about Kigao being sorry...it was just an accident a little mistake nothing else...and pups use react more friendly not like this black cub did...maybe something horrible had happend to him?
" Yes a mistake...umm and what is a pridelander? "
He tilted his head to the side and looked at the male...what was a pridelander? he looked more confused then before...
" Umm did something happen to you? i am just passing here with my family so i have never been here before "
He smiled a little maybe that would help calm the guy down...he hoped that because he didn't want a fight with him at all..

The question took Hakan aback and halted his growl almost immediatley as he took to time to trace his eyes over the pale-furred male. He had always taken that colour to be a symbol of the Pridelands but...perhaps this was a false assumption? He huffed and moved to sit back on his rump, gazing coldly at the lion in front of him.
"A rogue you say?" He questioned, the muscles that had once been tensed began to ease into a more relaxed manner. Hakan had no reason to spite this juvenile if he was a rogue and if he was travelling with his family. The way of life seemed exceptionally similar to his own and he could not fault this other for it.
"Happen to me?" He gave a sort of confused look then shook the mane from his eyes and puffed out his chest. "I'm known as the Dark Warrior around 'ere! I protect those I care about with my life!" In his eyes it was the most important role anyone could ever have. It was strange to meet someone he didn't have the urge to fight for a change but Hakan assumed it was because he was tired.

Kigao smiled towards the dark male...he seemed very confused himself he probably had some problems with enemies maybe? poor guy, Kigao hoped that he didn't do this to every lion he met..
" Yup! i am a rouge "
He waved his tail playfully because he was still in a playmode because off that butterfly. Kigao now saw that the male got more relaxed and seemed to start thinkin instead witch was good then he wouldn't start fighting with someone he didn't even hate...he didn't want that at all..he hated fighting but sometimes it seemed neccesary..
" Dark warrior i have never heard about that...anything special a dark warrior do besides protect his family? oh so you are from this area then?

Content that his family were safe - for now atleast - Hakan decided that for now he'd save his energy and humour this one with his company for a while. It wasn't like he had anything better to do and links with rogues could often bring interesting news.
"About time I met a rogue, one would think that all of 'em had joined a pride." He huffed and wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Beginning to lose faith in our species actually. Don't none of 'em want independance anymore, eh?"
He puffed out his chest a little, "a warrior such as meself protect all those they 'old dear to 'em and make sure they never get 'urt." Hakan slurred proudly, "and if someone does go threatening 'em then...kerrrrrrrick" He made a slashing gesture with a claw across his throat. "They're dead." He continued, turning his head to watch the lazy flick of his tail.
"And yes, for your information I am from here. Sadly. I can't stand being so close to those filthy Pridelanders. They give lions a bad name!" He growled, a flash of anger glinting behind his eyes.
"What about you, eh? Where are you 'eaded fellow rogue? Do you plan or do yah simply follow the wind?"

Kigao waved his tail calmley he was glad this male had calmed down and didn't seem as threatend as before so he took a deep breath and looked at the male he was so dark compared to himself and he had no weird markings either like that winged shaped marking he had on his back was not very lion like..
" Heh umm well i hope you don't mind me being a rouge but i was born into a smaller pack but my mother left me sadly but an older male i met takes care off me so i am fine now "
He was sad over that his mother left him but he had a new family now witch was just great then he wounderd if this male was alone? he didn't seem to have his family nearby
" Umm where is your family then? "
He looked around maybe he could spot them..
" Oh well i am with Muroki and some other lions now so i following him to his old home he says it is great! "

"Yer mother left yah? That musta been tough. I don't know what I'd do without my mother. Don't get me wrong, I don't depend on 'er or anything but she brought me into this world and I just feel it's my job to repay 'er by keeping her safe. Yah understand?" He didn't really care if the other did or not, as long as he got his point across.
He was no snivelling momma's boy.
He gave a small huff and extended his dark claws to scratch at the ground a little - taking great pleasure in the grooves that they left behind.
"My family is back at the den, I'm just patrolling the area to make sure no one goes near 'em. That way I can kill them before they step too close." He nodded sharply and let the tuft of his mane fall into his eyes.
The casual way he described killing others was disturbing, as if he found nothing wrong in ending the life of an innocent. "So you better be careful. If yah step too close then I'll be left with no choice but to kill you too. Better to be safe than sorry, right?" He gave a strange smirk and lowered his chest to press against the ground.

" Hmm yes but it was for my own sake because my dad got killed and our pack got a new leader and they usually kill all pups that isn't there blood "
He sighed but he was still mad about it why did THAT male had to think like that Muroki wasn't like that he was kind and understanding he took care off him a little pup that had nothing in the entire world..
He listend to Hakan's story he atleast had his family left but he had his new family now that wasn't bad at all maybe it was better..
" Heh well you are not that big maybe you would get into trubble if some off those pridelanders stopped by "
Kigao ment that Hakan was just his size how could he kill or defend himself against adults? he blinked and smiled back at Hakan he didn't get that smirk but he was good anyway..
" I be more carefull ok but umm before i leave do you want to play with me? "

"Peh...another reason why I'll never be joinin' a Pride." He puffed out his cheeks a little and put on an expression that could be described as almost being a pout. "Lions don't need Prides, not really. I get on fine without one so why can't others, eh?" At his further comment he simply turned his head to watch the swishing of his own tail, letting the lazy motion distract him from the other.
"Pridelanders don't fight, they probably forgot they even 'ave claws. Disgusting." He wrinkled his snout, "they don't even deserve to be called lions."
At the other juvenile's offer he turned to glance at him out of the corners of his eyes. "Well, that all depends on what yah wanna play. Warriors don't play no baby games yah know.

Kigao blinked and looked at Hakan's cheeks with his green eyes that looked so fun when he did it so he raised one off his paws and poked one off Hakan's cheeks lightly. He smiled but this dark male could need some time off his kind off busy work guarding or what he was doing around here..
" Heh don't have claws? they probably do but maybe they don't use them then "
He waved his tail playfully when the other male asked about what game they should play but any game was fun even if they where baby games according to him, Kigao suddently took a big jump and attacked the other male playfully and bite his ear and pushed him to the ground. Kigao was actually much stronger then he looked but Kigao wasn't aware off that..

Hakan gave a small 'oof' sound as he was pounced, eyes widening as he raised his hing legs up to press against the other's stomach in an attempt to push him off. So this other male did have a strength in him after all!
His tail swished up to bat against the pale lion's side as Hakan tried to roll himself sideways to help keep his ears away from the other lion's jaws.
"Good tah see you've got a backbone!" He called, grinning as he tried to gain control and wrestle the other to the ground.
