 Herew is a picture of Parade's which I've done some coloring on. He doesn't like the "pink", but I tend to think that I've got an interesting color balance etc. Impressions, comments?

I think making the pink/red a bit richer or more saturated would help, as at the moment it's kind of overwhelmed by the orange. Also some of the shadowing's a bit inconsistent with regard to which angle the light's supposed to be coming from.

I dun like the blurredness of the shadow, and I can't tell which the head is. That pointy thing is a nose? The gold spikey thing is a shoulder pad? The body looks neat, like a costume of armor or sumin :3
maybe just a personal thing, but the pink looks more like red to me, it makes sense in the color scheme in my head.

i dont think the quality of the line art is good enough to give this image a clean feel? it looks rough and too pixelated...and well frankly the whole thing sort of looses it's pizazz.

Page Boy i dont think the quality of the line art is good enough to give this image a clean feel? it looks rough and too pixelated...and well frankly the whole thing sort of looses it's pizazz. Maybe I should have run it through flash to smooth it first. I always forget that I can do that.

It looks fine with the colours to me, although some of the lighter bits of orange look like they've lightened the black lines as well.

I think that all your colours have the same sort of values, they're all pretty much the same tones. You need something a little brighter, of a contrasting colour. Not much... just a flash of a colour like a yellow-green or something just to pick up the colour scheme a little. Make it look less flat.
