Each child's life moves on like the river. The first child Liberty has been trying to help her former lover regain his memories, on top of that, she is also trying to take care of their daughter. Life is not easy for her.

Meanwhile, her daughter Rika is trying to get by and find friends, Lola has bestowed her with the job of searching for the ever-disappearing Junpei.

No one seems to know why Junpei likes to disappear, but he wants to be his momma's cheshire cat. He used to play with all sorts of funny riddles and leave them so people could find him. Nowadays... he just sits on his computer... typing away... things no one knows about.

Klonoa spends each of his days basking in his lovers arms... wondering and thinking, loving and learning. Life is at it's fullest peak for the marble colored boy.

His sister, the demon girl, is still suicidal and has locked herself in Zaner's room, contemplating and trying to learn what to do with herself. She's lost and confused and knows no boundaries to her helpless soul.

The youngest sister, Yuli, is meek and has taken to hanging around Tristan's daughter Eliphy. An odd pair they make, for one is meek and one is playful. Lola hopes they will become the best of friends.

And of course, Shadda is constantly shooting off his terrible mouth. The loss of his master has killed him, and he has not been able to find her. He is always trying to figure out who to hurt because such energy is pent up inside him... perhaps one day he'll be able to control it without his master's help.

Hope seems to die and tings wither and move on. Liberty has given up hope on pretty much everything. Her hold over Rika is gone, and her heart shattered. Her mother, her former lover, her daughter, all of it in pieces. There is a tragedy and she spends her life looking for that which she lost. That happy-go-lucky feeling she yearned to keep a firm hold of. Slowly she tries to shake off the depression and slump she's in and put herself into a happy state of mind. Easier said then done.

As the female phoenix becomes more and more independent and more and more her own person, she imerses herself in the things of the world. Testing, experimenting, everything, every person, every phrase, every word. Things her mother did not teach, she has learned from other's she meets. Perhaps a dangerous situation.

The cheshire boy seems to find amusement in his riddles and, like his mother, has taken to writing books. Perhaps they are a combination of the Alice books, and his mother's books. Perhaps they are just tales of an insane young man... whatever the case, they aren't normal. But what is normal anyway?

What can be said for Klonoa? He is the happiest of all the children. He is the one blessed enough to have a lover to comfort him. A gentle and kind lover who wants nothing more then the happiness of Zaner's favorite phoenix son. His happiness is envied by many and his statuette looks only become the source of adoring to his darling Hikaro.

The cutter. The demon child of Death. A child who's own unhappiness was caused by her own need for power, a need that she still yearns for. At the sight of Zan's death, of Hikaro and Klonoa, of the world around her... she only mopes. Will nothing be covered in darkness just for her? She seeks out her father once more, to become his servant... but not his murderer...

Ah, we have finally reached a point in our tale where the blessed dying winds of winter tell stories of the sweet Yuli. Yuli, the snow Hououza, the only child that Lola cares for properly. Lola, the horrible guardian can only deal with one child, and this is the one she has chosen to deal with. Yuli. The beautiful Yuli. The meek Yuli... who lives her life as a sort of nervous wreck... who will be there to grasp the flowering child when she blooms? A friend... or a foe?

And last... and certainly least... the bad mouth punk Shadda. Who doesn't love this freakish hell of a boy? Everyone, that's who. Does he care? No, he ******** the world. He's a wild boy, hitting on girls, acting like he's smart. Lola is ashamed that Zaner ever kept the boy.

It's dead. The wind rustles, and their are no sounds. All the children are sleeping, entranced with her spell. When they awaken, a suprise most delightful will be there, but can they cope with it's bad side?

Zan has returned... but she is not herself. A living doll, whom Lolabel calls Suki, has joined the Sakei household and it's all they can do to not scream.

Lola is a nervous wreck, more so then ever and each and every child knows not what to do with themselves.

Liberty has failed at raising her daughter and her daughter seeks out her grandfather who comes not when she visits, even though she says naught to make her presence accountable.

There is no life in Shadda, with his master gone, he can't even curse. And with Junpei on a cheshire rampage, the internet is in a hacking frenzi!

Klonoa continues to spend time curled in the arms of Hikaro, praying for Mirabelle to come home and be safe, but the demon's child want's none of it. She wants only to die.

And Yuli... what of Yuli.... what can be said for the icy girl who's breath shivers instead of sharpens? Nothing.

...Quoth the Raven....

...Nevermore.

((AS YOU KNOW IM ON 6 WEEK HIATUS. NO UPDATING DURING THAT TIME. Love ya'll bye.))

Time twindles ever so much, and the weeks pass into monthes. The world changes around the Sakei family, and yet none of them change. It is depressing. Even the real child of Zaner is up and out of the house. The world spins round and round and all the Hououza sit around, getting dizzy.

Is it punishment? For some reason, none of the youngest children can grow their true plume. They don't age and are merely fountains of youth. It is depressed and heartless. Lola can no longer look at them. Even Kudo has no heart.

The house is dead. Except for a solemn doll that seems to arise a choke in each and every phoenix child's heart and throat.

Rika has disappeared somewhere, trying to prove herself to the world. Liberty has no idea what's happened to her daughter or to Ryo. She stopped speaking to him and she can't tell why. Supposedly it's the depression.

Junpei and Mirabelle sit around playing games every so often. Mira is often bloody and depressed and Jun's lovely riddles and puzzles make them both feel better. It is sad to say that even of the three of them, Klonoa has lost contact with Hikaro and is loosing it. Poor Klola can't seem to understand what happened to his lover and often sits in the corner of the room, crying to himself and waiting for Hika to come back.

Yuli tramps around the house very comfortably and very shyly, but since no one takes much notice of her anyway she does whatever she wants. Of all the Hououza, she's the most lively. How depressing.
